- "Swornim Sandhya" is one of the best and soothing live performance of Swar Samrat Narayan Gopal. It is probably the one and only program which could be filmed by camera. Sadly, there is no footage of the full program, including all the songs and footages of Gopal talking with the audience. But better something than nothing. So, here are 14 songs I have compiled from various youtube videos. Also we urge Nepal Television to upload the full program if available. Enjoy!

Mero Maat Yaha K ho timi bhanideu ( I did not understand this line. The line translates to the speaker asking someone to tell him about his maat, which has the meaning of intoxication and overcome as well so I'm not able to comprehend this.)

The singer with limited few songs but all in all super hit. Yet, the most popular senior greatest singer👍 So dear Narayan is greater than Rafi shab who of course sang scores of songs but many of them are still anonymous and unheard. These words are targeted specially for them who compare Narayan Gopal and Mohammad Rafi.

Almost all the songs he sang are my favourites,

These are all mainstream songs. They are really really good, but the best ones are his classics, underrated and songs with Gopal Yonjan/Ratna Shumsher. What I mean is many of his old songs. They are the real masterpieces. Like Chumera Pana Bhari, Birsera Feri Malai, Bho Bho Nasodha, Gunjama Gunjiyo, Jivan ko harek modma, Malai Maaf garideu, Yeti Chokho Yeti Mitho, Galti Hajar Hunchha, Mero geet merai, Mero yo geet ma, Timro Jasto mutu, Ehh Kanchha thattai ma, bichhodko pida and many moree!

Malai Maaf garideu is a legit masterpiece, mero geet meroi pratibimb hoina beautifully describes humility of the singer who claims his songs are great not the singer.....
But why i love the songs that i mentioned in my first comment most is because if you read behind the lines of those lyrics, theres a tragedy in it.... And he sang those songs with such a feel and heaviness that rarely any other singer can match....
I could relate with those songs becauss i am going through a heartbreak and those songs and lyrics resonates with my feeling and the situation i am in...
But for me all of Narayan Gopals songs are a legit masterpiece, no doubt in it.
Huge respect to him and all the 'Geet Kaar's ' who wrote such a beautiful songs and the composers. I am really thankful to be listening to these songs🙏🙏🙏
