That was NOT the cannibal. That was the guy makes clothes out of his victims skin
yea that was Buffalo Bill who Hannibal Lector was helping to catch, he killed women for their skin
I had to scroll down to make sure someone cleared this up and I wasn't disappointed. lol ;-) Thank you!
Fun Silence of the Lambs trivia: It is one of only three movies to win the "Big Five" Oscars in the history of the awards. The Big Five major awards are Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay. The other two to win were It Happened One Night (1934) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). Silence of the Lambs (1991) is the most recent winner of the Big Five. Will we get another one within our lifetime?
It puts the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again
I’ve only seen that movie once and I knew that. I wanted to call them out if someone else didn’t.
We know that but the girl in charge had NO IDEA cause she said “yeah” when they asked if he was Hannibal. Wtf!? Lol
Alex and Jayce quoting Billy Madison together is hilarious 😂
15:50. NO. that is buffalo bill, he kills and skins women. Hannibal Lecter is the people eater, liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
Literally and she sounded so unsure. If you don't know the answer just say it
THANK YOU! I screamed at the monitor "HE SKINNED WOMEN NOT EAT THEM!!!" I'm so glad this comment was here!
Information is lost on this channel it seems.
I made my family disappear. I am just quoting home alone.
The host hasn't seen Silence of the Lambs. Martine asked if the guy in the clip was the one who ate people. The one in the video was Buffalo Bill who made skin suits from his victims. Hannibal Lecter ate people.
Not sure they actually watch these movies.
"They were saying 'vibe' in the 90s?" Child, people have been saying "vibe" since the 1960s 😂
One of the things that made 90s movies so different/original/experimental/etc... is that studios were more willing to take risks... partly because if the movie didn't do amazingly in the theater, they could get another dip with home video sales and rentals. It was sort of like a second release of the movie and they could recoup that way. That doesn't exist today, so most studios only want to play it REALLY safe and go with known IPs or endless sequels.
Everyone talks about Haley Joel Osment's performance in The Sixth Sense, but nobody talks about his performance in Pay it Forward. It's a real shame cuz it's an INSANELY underrated movie and has one of the saddest endings in a movie that I've seen
I've only ever seen part of Pay It Forward and that was ages ago. That's definitely one I need to see completely. I vaguely remember liking what I saw. As far as Haley Joel Osment goes, one of my favorite movies of his is Secondhand Lions. Not just from Haley Joel, but just fantastic performances all around in that movie!
@@GeminiWolfstarGaming I'm not sure if I've seen that movie, but yeah, you should definitely see Pay it Forward in its entirety. Off the top of my head, it's one of my most watched movies
Alex and Jayse are really showing their age by quoting Billy Madison as the movie plays! 😂
15:49 No, that's wrong! That is Buffalo Bill not Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lector.
yeah he just wears their skin no nibbling
@@candidoll190 You could say he's a skinner not a nibbler.
Indeed. My guess is they don't know the actual movies they have on this list. They just go with the information being relayed to them, whether or not they are correct.
The Fifth Element is my favorite 90s movie
Multipass?
@@Hyde_Hill Li Lu Dallas Multipass lol
It's been on my mind recently. Think cuz my boys watch so much avatar and they mention the elements, I keep thinking fifth element.
Also... Aziz, LIGHT!
that's not the guy that eats people in SotL, Hannibal Lecter is the cannibal
I don't think they are that familiar with these movies. Not as much as they think they are.
Alexander and Jayse collaborating on a project work out so good.
Angela killed that role in Boyz In The Hood in ‘91 but ‘92 her role as Katherine Jackson in The Jacksons An American Dream yes sir
My brother was the same as Martine when it comes to Office Space, he hated the scene where everyone got a piece of cake but Milton
It makes me SOOOO sad! The movie itself is pretty iconic and great, but it hurts my heart so so much to see how he’s treated. I always wanna jump in and help anyone who is dealing with anything like that 💛💛💛
Martine is such a sweetie. You defend poor Milton!
💛💛💛💛💛
There are so many excellent 90s movies but the top one has to be The Mummy.
That was buffalo bill, he was making a body suit out of people's skin. Hannibal Lecter was the one who ate people
Thank you. LOL that bugged me XD
This channel gets a lot of information wrong. But it's still fun to watch.
The fact that you agreed that Buffalo Bill was the guy who ate people really made me shake my head..I love this channel but you guys gotta get the facts about a movie! Bill skinned then wore their skin. Hannibal ate people but was already in prison and helped Clarice find Bill
Many who claim they know these movies simply don't. I wouldn't want to consider someone like this a poser. But they clearly haven't paid much attention to the narrative.
Love the group for this one. Side note: Kalilah reminds me of a young Lauren Hill. So pretty
💛💛
Thank you 🥰
Taking all 3 clues for "10 things" hurt my entire SOUL
Sixth Sense is indeed one of the best movies of all time.
That's Buffalo Bill that is not Hannibal 😂
Indeed. I dont think the hosts have seen all of these movies that they are cheering the right answer on.
Fun fact: Buffalo Bill was the inspiration of Chris Griffins voice. Seth Green was dared to do his audition with his Buffalo Bill impression and he did it.
definitely need a part 2 so many great 90's movies
Fun fact: the picture Kevin pulls out of Buzz’s girlfriend is actually a guy in a wig
Specifically the art director's son.
I'm kind of surprised "Now that's what I call a close enounter." was the 1st quote. Too easy. That's one of the more memorable lines from Independence Day.
Back in the olden days of computers (90's lol) I had wav files to use when I did certain tasks. One was "There's a reason we have... bins labeled recycle! What the hell's goin' on?! My god in heaven!" 🤣
Stephen root is the 🐐 from Milton to fuches in Barry, I mean come on😂
If someone says O'doyle rules and you don't know it's an Adam Sandler movie you are NOT a fan 😂😅😅😅
I should watch Half Baked while eating Half Baked Ben & Jerry’s ice cream 🍦🍨
*The "Half-Baked" one was **_too_** easy! Some of the best lines in the film!* 😂😂😂
Should have used "shiznittlebam snip snack sac" 😉🤣
I watched The Sixth Sense in the cinemas and at the first scary scene with that woman in the kitchen right when the tension was building up just before she turned around the screen went black and we thought it was an effect but no, after a few minutes they turned the lights on. The movie strip snapped and they had to repair it. After 30minutes we could continue and they gave us the whole suspense again. Going through that suspense twice was quite something.
No, the person shown in the Silence of the Lambs clip wasn't Hannibal, it was Buffalo Bill
I don't think they know these movies as well as they have claimed.
5:52 How kalilah goes cringe mode and tries to curl her hands into herself is identical to how i react sometimes 😂
Me getting my Will movies mixed up, i shouted MIB, MIB 2, then said independence day with khalilah
Did we just overlook Alex saying that his first date with his (now) wife was watching Dumb and Dumber in a graveyard?
😂
Not Me Over Here Screaming Home Alone At Them Through The Screen As If They Can Hear Me! It's Crazy How It Took Them SO Long To Be Able To Guess It! 😂😂😂😂🤨🤨🤨🤨🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😑😑😑😑
@jamesmcgowan1769 This was me with Half Baked. 😂
😂😂😂
That shirt would make you my younger daughter's best friend, Martine. She had and in a small way still has the biggest crush on every member. I got her all of the marionette dolls for Christmas and I was her hero. She's 35 and still has them somewhere.
Aww love that!
🤞for a Con Air quote. A bunch of good ones!
When Office Space was first released Swingline didn't make a red stapler. It was only because of the demand for red staplers due to the movie's popularity did they begin making them.
I have one because of this movie! I also worked in an office at the time! Lol
I loved the quote from Will Smith where he was dragging the alien in Independence Day . My son was in the Nay and had the same haircut and I could imagine him saying.
"It's the silencer of the lambs! (silencer of the pets sold separately)"
I missed Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum): Life....uh...Finds a way. From Jurassic Park
I had a ball with this segment. 😅😂😊
I guess these young'uns never heard of Cheech and Chong if they think Half-Baked was groundbreaking (even though Tommy Chong was *in* Half-Baked!)
Yeah, Cheech & Chong were the true originals. :-) Their first couple movies are still hysterical.
14:39 Thank you for saying that, Martine!
I must say that Corey got the pipes on the song from Sister Act 😊😊😊
Alex and Jayse quoting 'Billy Madison' is freaking hilarious!!!
Alex and jayse crushing over heath ledger*
@@Rogue_Innocence I mean, he was a gorgeous man! So that's totally understandable. Rest in peace, Heath Ledger!
1:45 got it right away. I watch that movie every year.
15:42 Buffalo Bill was not Hannibal Lector. He abducted heavy set women and cut their skin off so he can wear it.
Buffalo Bill.
@@knowledge-girl I didn't put Bill, oops🤣. Guess I was typing to fast.
Indeed. I enjoy most of this channel's content, but have they actually watched these movies they are cheering the correct answer for?
My little brother's name is Tré... My mom said she knew after she heard the name on BoyzNTheHood that that's what her son's name would be if she ever had one.. He was born in 98
Kahlila fit just screams 90’s and I’m here for it cause it’s just straight 🔥🔥🔥
18:15 ain't nothing but a heartache.
14:39 I can completely get behind and understand Martine's stance and sentiment behind this opinion.
💛💛
Martine Yellow Report: Bracelet, Nails, and 1 square on her shirt.
And a gold ring!
💛💛💛
I love Kalilah's shirt !
You guys should do guess the DreamWorks movie by the quote!
No Friday quote is CRIMINAL!!!!!!!
All great combos of Reactors!
React to Kendrick vs Drake
I was gonna go in on the Buffalo Bill snafu.. But it looks like u guys in the coms already took care of that. 🤭😂🤣
It's a Death Head Moth over the mouth in Silence of the Lambs btw
But if you look closely enough it's not a skull shape, it's a group of naked women laid out to represent a skull.
@@ManlyStump The moth has a shull shape on its back. Where are you getting your information?
*Me, knowing it was Will Smith that said it, but confidentally said "Men In Black":* 🙄
SOO many great 90's films weren't even included, even beyond the ones they did bring up and guess. Good video!
I am so bad with 90s movies and it took me all the clues for most of them (if I got them), but I got 10 Things I Hate About You instantly. I saw Bianca saying this as she read it. I was waaaaaay too obsessed with that movie 😅
This was good. I got quite a few right. I like these kinds of videos to see how well I can do, and would like to see a part 2. Since you already used Dumb and Dumber, maybe in a second one you could use one of the other top 3 movies Jim Carrey had at the box office in 1994 like The Mask or Ace Ventura. Perhaps additional movies can include Hook(or Jumanji), The Bodyguard, The Lion King, Happy Gilmore, Schindler's List, Goodfellas, and Space Jam just to name a few.
ah the member berries. Loved it!!
I literally know 10 Things I Hate About You word for word. I love that movie it might be my all time favorite.
I have a nail polish called "I hate the way you..."
Stephen Root is going to be in the Actor's hll of fame someday.
I found it funny that they used Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv series cover instead of the movie cover.
Buffy wasn't in here at all
@@katstorm13 It was a wrong guess
Didn't they answer Sister Act, yet played a clip from the 2nd movie? Also, they claim that Buffalo Bill is the cannibal in Silence of the Lambs. They get a lot wrong on this channel.
@@LanceLust1980HugeTheWarningFan they try, but show the editors age anyway 🤷
@@reneeg9406 What shows the editors age?
Seeing new faves on this show makes me happy qnd Bery Excited to see what kind of chaos will ensue.
Hii love this chanell 4 years
I kinda have a thing for Martine, but she kinda looks like Kathy Griffin lol 😂
Watching the sixth sense as a kid was scary, watching it as an adult it's not scary at all but still a great movie
They pissed me off not knowing half baked 😅😅😂
Wow , I need to watch more of these movies
It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
~ Buffalo Bill
Plzzz never remake half baked! Like the gold alone man lol
I thought Friday would be on this
That girl looks like a young Lauryn Hill.
Why did they show sister act 2 when the answer was sister act
Cause part 2 came out after part 1.
They showed Buffalo Bill instead of Hannibal Lector, too. They get a lot of information wrong here.
My favorite 90s movie is Jumanji the greatest movie ever made.
I'm a 90s baby, but I don't remember a lot of movies from that era (especially more adult movies).😂 if you guys haven't done a 00s edition, you should because I could crush that one, easily.😂
They were not hitchiking in the scene lol
I thought they were absolutely amazing at the time. Now they're retro.😉🥰
16:50 Yes, Angela Bassett, and Lawrence Fishbourne work very well together!
7:33 Billie Madison! I know my fav Adam Sandler film word for word
Im upset about the lack of pauly shore movies in this one, biodime and son in law are still 2 of my favorites
I love Son-in-Law. Probably WAY more than I should. 😂
Forest gump will always be my favorite!!!
Kalilah is such a vibe!
Round 2... I've seen Home Alone too many times since I was a kid to know it from the 1st quote.
If I wanted real, I’d just go for outside. Truth.
90s does have some of the most experimental films in big budget Hollywood. Strange Days, Galaxy Quest, Starship Troopers, Lawnmower Man, existenZ, Virtuosity, Gattaca, The Fiftih Element, Contact, Total Recall, Johnny Mnemonic, Demolition Man, Cube, Dark City, 12 Monkeys, Stargate, even Waterworld, you really don't see as many of those kinds of movies being greenlit these days.
Home Alone and 10 Things I Hate About You were instantaneous for me 🥰🥰
To finish the first two 10 Things quotes:
“But I love my Sketchers?” “That’s because you don’t have a Prada backpack.” “Ohhh 😁”
“I think you can in Europe!”
Jayce is such a positive buddy.
the fifth element - still my favorite movie of all time
Do a video on just bon jovi plus
I have only seen Home Alone, Sister Act 2, 10 Things I hate About You movies. I don't watch ever horror movies!
i don't like horror movies either except sweeney todd since it's a musical and johnny depp version of sleepy hollow
Boy I was thinking of the wrong sausage party movie. I was like that movie came out in the 2010s lmfao
My favorite 90s movies are Assassins and The Fugitive
I've missed a lot of them though, what do y'all recommend?
Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption off the top of my head.
