Cool video! I like the scoped ones the most and the pump-action Winchester shotgun. Slugs are strong, but in game I'd prefer some more spraying to aim easier I also play this game and show the differences between the mod and basic version. Thanks for this compilation!
Even late 2000s/early 2010s CODs did that. Look at how NPCs and other players in MP hold guns with foregrips in the original MW series for example, they just hold onto the handguard like the foregrip isn't there, and it clips through their hand. Same with underbarrel grenade launchers too
@@drac6669I don't think he's talking about the majority of the animations that already existed in the game prior to waw. There are some guns in the mod that aren't from cod2 and they use the animations from that game
Yeah they were pretty open about it when making the mod, but it's only the animation source not the models themselves. Plus does it really matter? It's a mod, a really good one at that.
I wish new WW2 COD will add more weapons like BF or more factions such a Italy, Poland, French, Swedish, Norway, China, Finnish. Sadly, Activision ruined everything in Vanguard
Im pretty sure if CoD ever makes another vintage war game, they will add unseen stuff from videogames and probably even some (not over thr top) fictional weapons or prototypes.
u create a new folder in the base game's folder where the .exe is located, copy profiles folder from the base game folder into the new folder, and drop the mod contents into that folder....read the installation manual for proper instructions since I dont think I wanna detail it in here.
4:59 oh. So that small bullet belt just magically disappeared when taking out the drum magazine. Then reappears again in placing a new one. Lack of animation
Dude, CoD 2 is 1 year away from being 20 years old, the engine used Is renderware Wich was discontinued the year after this game released, the tools to make mods let alone animations for this are ancient and not supported anymore cuz there are not many people interested and you complain about 1 single bug of a mod made by maybe 10 guys max, while the multibillion company with hundreds of devs behind that keep doing these games nowadays and pulling the same garbage every year? @@eliel1815shadow my guy, the engine's used for CoD 2 was Infinity Ward's own fork of id Software's Id Tech 3 named IW 2.0, not RenderWare. As others have said, the trigger finger thing was not even a concept until the late 80s, and was not widely accepted before the late 90s as the idea was the time it would take you to get to the trigger would get you killed. The creativity of the modding community never ceases to amaze me
I just realised the De Lisle carbine has the same reload animation as the L96A1 from black ops 1.
Call of enlisted Duty
B2f mod existed many many years before enlisted lmao
Peak brain rot joke

Simple but good, literally perfection!
Funny that the sten mkv has a fore grip, but the model is still holding it by the magazine

The early Sten mkv models had a vertical foregrip, but the later ones, like the one in b2f, had a wooden handguard instead
Some of these animations are straight up ripped from World at War.
Its the other way around, Cod2 came before waw, but Waw kinda "remastered" alot of this animations since they aren't 100% exactly the same.

I love this mod, the best for Cod 2
I like how it kept the original style of reloading.

How did you add the mod?
New weapons (vanilla ones have been reworked), new levels and new locations

Well, yes, not only new weapons add to the game, but also a new campaign.
yes and it's the goat
It’s just WAW animations for most of them
