Has anyone bought or tried any Viltrox lens? What's your experience? Share with us by dropping a comment below please :)
Yes, the 85mm, 1.8Z lens. Good lens for the money
Yes, I have 4 Viltrox lens’s. 85mm , 50mm in FF then the 13mm and 56mm ASPC . Coupled with Nikon Z5 and the Z50. All are interchangeable with the Z mount on both cameras giving me a very wide choice of focal lengths with prime glass . Been shooting since I was 18 years old in 1966 with a Praktica . Developed and printed all my own images then in the family bathroom infuriating my mother with developer and fixer drops on the pink carpet. Yep…we had a pink carpet in the bathroom. Trending.
Viltrox , IMO are very worthy of comparison with Nikon glass , again IMO they also outgun Sigma as a third party lens manufacturer. Yes I’ve got Sigma on my D5600. So I am positioned to make a comment .
Viltrox , sharp and crisp , AF perfectly acceptable, fast ? Yes. I’m not a pixel peeper ( with my eyes lol) and I shoot mainly in monochrome , I’m still trying to emulate Daidō Moyiyama with no success thus far. Hey ho. Keep trying old son .
i brought the nikon 50 1.8 main flaw for me was that its close focal distance is a no for me a 50mm lens is suppose to be an all around len i found myself keep stepping back to get product shoots so for product shoots its a No for everyday use it depens but getting close is an issue for me
What great review. Also that auto focus test is awesome. Thanks for sharing
Great review. Thanks Richard!
Always enjoy seeing your candid and detail review.

Thanks Lenny! I just subbed your channel too. Keep it up and let's create some more great contents on TH-cam!
Great review Richard. And loved seeing it on the legendary Z9! I am with you on paying more for weather sealing. I have the Z 50 1.8s and adore it.
hey Zak, thanks!! My Z9 review is coming soon!! There are just so many things to test it takes forever to get that done. Also the new Z 24-120 S review as well!
Great review as usual thanks 👍
Thank you very much 🥰
Another great informative and fair review I would like to see L-mount version too! Please Viltrox
Thanks Justin!
Great information video
great review as always :) they have realy great lenses for small amount of money, but they have to make lenshood a bit smoother.... i dont use them, but its frustrating... :D
Nicely done Richard 👏
Great review 👏
I used viltrox 24mm for my talking head set and viltrox 85mm for portraiture 😊
Thanks Jonathan! Great choice of lenses
Hello, This lens is better than the Meike Nikon 50mm f 1.8 z ?
Z9! Yes!
Esperamos tu respuesta sincera
You do not need FTZ adaptor to use with this lens. This has a Z mount already
@@TheRealRichardWong Excelente, un ahorro más de dinero. Gracias!!
Thanks for the video. I wonder how the Viltrox 50mm f/1.8 Z compare to the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 G (F mount)... The Viltrox is better? Or the old Nikon get the job done?
i'm not sure. I do think in terms of autofocus performance, like how smooth/quiet it is, and continuous tracking, the Viltrox would be much better
Good review
Thank you
Viltrox lenses are awesome for the price 👌
Yes definitely great value for money
I wish they made them for L- mount as well..
Yes I've asked them about it too. Since Viltrox has released a L mount AF adaptor last month, so they should have the technology for that already. Maybe we just have to wait a little bit longer as Viltrox only just release the Canon RF lenses very recently
@@TheRealRichardWong I have a manual 20mm Viltrox lens for l- mount and it's quite solid.
Oh yes that is a REALLY solid lens!
yes L-mount please
Better than the 50mm 1.8g
Z9 camera review when?!
About a week or so? I found it quite tricky to review the Z9
