- Today is my reaction, review and rating for Survive by The Warning. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think. Thank you.
NOTE: I had to mute a small portion of the video because of copyright. around 2:29-2:39. I was trying to show an example of "Mama" by My Chemical Romance.
Join me as I listen to XXI Century Blood for the first time. I will be doing a live reaction to every song from the album. In order. Giving a brief review of each song as well as a numbered rating 1-10 of the song. NO script. HONEST reaction, review and rating. All reactions have been recorded and will be released 1 at a time every 2 days. Please feel free to comment and let me know how you feel about my videos. Also, and more importantly, let me know your perspective on each song and what you would rate the song on a 1-10 scale. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
NOTE: XXI Century Blood is the only song from the album that I did a scripted review of as opposed to a reaction video. the reason being, when I recorded the reaction video my mic was muted. I didn't want to be fake and re-record a reaction video. so I wrote a review instead. That being said, its my favorite and I prefer that style of video. let me know what you think.
Thank you for watching. Like, comment, share, & subscribe. All that good stuff. See you in the comments.
One more thing. My initial rating for the title track XXI Century Blood was an 8. Since then however it has been upgraded to a 10. I love that song.

The TedX version of this song from 2017 is the song that made me a fan.
VERY recommended!
Can’t wait to see it.
Me too... ✌🏽🤘🏽
Pau with the helicopter pony tail 👱♀️🤘
It's The Warning's "Free Bird"
It had me dancing, singing and giggling like a kid the first time i heard the TedX performance too.
You really should watch the live version of this song from August 2022 at cdmx Mexico!
The one in TEDx is my favorite
My personal favourite is at CDMX 2022
Me too 🤘🏽 @@juantr84
I think listening to the original album version is something everyone needs to do before seeing the live videos. You get to hear how they intended the song to sound and then see how the song grew or changed. We all know live is their super power.
I have to listen to the album version first. Idk why. I just do. 😅 but I will definitely be checking out the live versions.
@@RichandTheWarning Album to live version in one reaction is always entertaining....:)
PLEASE watch their performance of this at TEDx 2017 at the University of Nevada. It is amazing. They were 17, 15, and 12 there. Actually, watch the whole presentation, which includes *Exterminated* and *When I'm Alone.* It is well recorded. They blew the audience away with their heart-felt commentaries between songs. Pau breaks a drumstick during *Survive.* It lands on a cymbal. She picks up a new one and continues, then launches the broken stick off the cymbal a few bars later. Speaking of hair, watch her helicopter ponytail. Hilarious. My point? As much as I love all their albums (I have the CDs), their official live videos are totally awesome.
one of their oldest songs that remains a much loved part of their live set today
Yes, and always with audience involvement.
They are huge My Chemical Romance fans. Very astute of you to pick up on that. I, on the other hand, have no idea who My Chemical Romance is. Sounds like the old me; drunk, messed up on drugs, and in love with them all... Until I wasn't.
You don’t know who My Chemical Romance is?? You have to check them out. They’re amazing. You’ve had to at least head “welcome to the black parade” you should check out “head first for halos” and “cemetery drive” 2 of my favorite songs by them. But honestly everything they live done is great.
@@RichandTheWarning No, seriously; first, I have listened to nobody, and I mean nobody, except The Warning, since July 27, 2018. Before that, I had not purchased an album, (CD, cassette, vinyl, mp3, etc.) for over thirty years. To go along with that, I have not listened to the radio, though I doubt My Chemical Romance can be heard there, for that same period. No offense intended toward anyone, but I see no reason to listen to anybody but The Warning. They give me what I want from a rock'n'roll band. I listen to and/or watch The Warning several times per day, every day, as well as scour the internet for anything The Warning, at every opportunity, throughout the day. I honestly do not think I have gone more than ten hours without consuming something The Warning.
I'm 55, and have seen nearly all the "greats" from the 70's through the 80's. My first The Warning concert, a private show at The Whisky a GoGo, in Hollywood, CA, relegated every other concert I'd seen to the "meh... it was alright" list. I flew to that show from CT. I now have a ticket to my seventh The Warning concert, which will be in Boston, on September 13, 2024. I'm so looking forward to it!
The last band that held my interest, for more than a month, was Guns'n'Roses, and that was for about six months, when "Appetite For Destruction" came out. Coincidentally, that was the last album I bought before discovering The Warning.
If you keep reacting to The Warning, I'll watch your videos. It's that simple.
There’s nothing wrong with that. You know what you like. And The Warning is incredibly amazing. You must be very excited for the new album.
Yes TEDex talk 2017 is the best version.
Do the one on TEDX University of Nevada
You got it. 👍🏻
One of their older songs so there are several good recordings through the years from the 2017 TEDx to the concert at the 2022 Teatro Metropolitan.
Can’t wait to check them all out!
One of the greatest outros ever!
Live version sounds even better
🔥⚡️🤟🏼💖👑
Thats what everyone keeps saying. I cant wait to do the live reactions. hope youll be here to see them with me!
Another Warning Army subscriber. Welcome to this incredible ride. ⚡⚡⚡
Thank you. I’ve been listening for a little while now. I just decided to make a channel about them. I haven’t a heard XXI century blood yet. So it seemed like a good place to start. I’ve already heard QOTMS. Absolutely incredible.
Pau was a huge fan of My Chemical Romance when she was in middle school. She calls it her EMO phase. This song is a duet between Pau and Dany except in the outro when it is duet between Pau and Ale. XII Century Blood isn't a concept album. They were just into a lot of breakup and toxic relationship songs at that time (Unmendable, Survive, Our Mistakes, Shattered Heart). This song is a major fan favorite.
I went through an MCR emo phase as well. I even have a MCR tattoo. Speaking of. I’m going to have to get a Warning tattoo.
De sus primeros temas Survive ,un bello tema de rock clásico ,un tema de gran calidad ,el rock de The Warning siempre a sido increíble
TEDx 2017 is the most fantastic version of this song.
Yeah Teatro is more polished and they all have more presence.
But TED17 has true passion and Pau imitating Animal from the Muppets. The helicopter pony tail. Ale barely able to hold her bass. The Les Paul. (the only thing missing is a butterfly shirt).
It is completely jaw-dropping and what converted a ton of people to be fans.
I'm going to be a contrarian here. You are going to hear from many fans of The Warning urging you to react to their live performances. But if you are going to be exploring their music in depth then I believe you absolutely need to include the studio recordings as well. Some of the early songs in particular may not have a performance captured in high quality video.
I think that the contrast between the studio and live versions is an interesting feature, and one that isn't sufficiently examined.
Yea. I feel like I should listen to the studio version first. The whole album from beginning to end and the start to dig through the live shows and the meanings and lore.
@@RichandTheWarningthe only song I think is absolutely best experienced live is Evolve. There's so much more energy with it live when they get the crowd involved. The VMA performance is top tier.
Live!!!! You are listening pro musicians. The Best nowadsys.
Its insane how talented they are. If I had to guess I would bet their parents are very skilled musicians as well.
You can reacts to HYCAD at Pepsi center, or any song, one New, one oldie, you'll never desapointed. And their parents are not musicians Mony is a dentist and Luis is an ingineer.
Do the live version's or official video's at least !!!
I couldn’t find the official videos. I could only find the video for the title track XXl century blood. Which I covered on this channel. And I will definitely get around the live version. Be sure of that.
@@RichandTheWarningfrom the first album I think XXICB is the only one that had an actual music video. And I don't recall any from Queen of the Murder Scene either. They started making more during Error.
@@balgus82 thank you for the info. I appreciate it. Honestly I would love if they made a short film based on QOTMS. I’d lose my mind.
The perfect break-up song. Good riddance!
Hahaha
