Those stock looking squares took an absolute beating! I'm way more impressed with those than the purpose built trucks. That kid at 14:50 is gonna find out how expensive that rev limiter life is quick. Just straight up abusing it like he didn't pay for it.
2 attempt to complete 1200 lbs added each round trucks are weighed and when they can’t pull no more it’s measured into a number based on how heavy truck weighs compared to what it pulls
@@BurninGas8.1track prep between trucks? Looks like they box blade it only? Dirt looks super loose. Probably helps to save broken parts😂. What are they using to get the sled back to the start? @@Somersetauto im confused, why does your state regulate one type of competition based on a separate competition? And why does it regulate pulling competitions at all?
Nice trucks, only one problem, that they can't pull shit without the advantages of being crooked to the line. Especially the big power trucks are basically garbage for the purpose, because they can't do it! When you need pulled out of a mud hole with trees on both sides who do you call? A 4200 pound truck dragging 12000 pounds on a steel plate is garbage your clearly very intelligent and trust me these are the guys that pull everyone out at 4x4 rally’s
@@BurninGas8.1 just my opinion. Mine is over 6500lbs and doesn't break when pulling people out with 4.56s and 38s and 375hp. I did better than others through all the mud, every time, for years. We should line up a challenge that emulates real world pulling and bogging, now that's a video.
I don't know shit about dead drags, but it looks rowdy, and I'm here for it... hell yeah 💪
The 94 chevy with the lady driver making it look easy 😂
Crazy to see the truck pointed in the stands😂
The way that first Red Chevy's bedsides twisted two different directions under load 😂
Other than that old antique army truck it looks like nothing but the old square body Chevys have the balls to get the job done !!!
💯 🏆 ENTERTAINING ‼️

Each cement block is 400lb along with the sled that weighs 1000lbs is a total of 12,000 lbs at the very end.
Only Blox I'm representing!
Only ones that get me from A TO B & C'z for the real passing$.!.
Little twist to help get sled moving and doesnt throw all the dirt from tires right in front initially, sweet trucks
Are they starting at an angle to get initial movement on the sled? Would be my guess, first time seeing this.
Your correct and it’s called dead drag style truck pulls
@BurninGas8.1 I recently watched the street pulls with a sled, pretty wild too, thanks for the info!
odd. all the sled pulls I've ever seen were straight on.
@@xmo552 Normal sled pulls start with less resistance and increase it as the trailer moves down the track. The dead pull starts with full resistance.
Sliding friction is lower than static friction. You learn stuff like that when you attend high school. 😂
Curious on why they start the pull at an angle? This was dope either way. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
the twist of the sled breaks the friction letting is slide easy after
Guess I need to go get my Bachelor's in Trigonometry to pull some bricks.
Square body for lyfe 😗

I’m curious about the trucks that hop. Some hop some don’t. Anyone know why? watch 10:30 at 25% speed.
Where they doing these dead pulls at? How much weight?
How are they scored? Are they adding weight every round? Guessing they are allowed 2 attempts to start it?

@@BurninGas8.1 that explains the lack of diesel trucks, too heavy.
So how does someone win if they all make the pull?
Who's stock?
Would I like about this poll? There's only one brand pulling the real truck of america chevrolet
Yea nice trucks but boring watching a bunch of squares compete against themselves with all similar builds. Gotta get a better variety of trucks.
Please pin a comment as to how much each concrete column weighs..
1200lbs each
I'm waiting for the chain to break.
To much tire pressure and not enough throttle control.
What are these trucks thinking the trucks are built out the ass they can't compete with there class
Can no one pull starting straight damn and yes i do know how to pull/tow
