sydney is such a beauty even when getting ready to destroy the rest of the field. She does just float thru those hurdles and really wasn't pushing herself hard and she does this. Can't wait till she incorporates the 400 M flats as well, she is a force of nature and switching to Bobby as her coach right before olympics? Wow that was such a gutsy move.
At the end she looks around like "What time is lunch?"
That seemed almost effortless. She wasn't even breathing hard after the finish. Put hurdles in her lane and let the world's best 400 flat runners run against her and she breaks 50 (and probably wins). I honestly thing she is capable of a 47.5 flat 400.
She is so way out there, other athletes have to retrain, she uses a technique where she takes off one step per hurdle, that alone is so hard to over come plus here speed down the last stretch is really fast too. She is a superstar.
How does she make it look so easy? She's really a star
She is unbeatable and I think she might beat the 50 mark. She is just a. Remarkable athlete. And beautiful.
Sydney is a BAD A_S and she put in that work!! All of them have but just know her competitors make her look even better!! They look like beautiful horses I'm so jelly!! Keep up the great work!!!
This was ridiculous. That wasn't a bad field. Sydney is winning these races by absurd margins. You see those sorts of daylight margins over one lap races in high school, not in pro meets. People are talking about the open 400, but Sydney very quickly after focusing on it completely will dominate that event too. Sydney might need to move down to the 200 to remain challenged in her career. What an athlete.
She ran 50.07 at 18 under the rain. Sure that when she focus on flat 400 she breaks world record.
Run Syd Run… Love her…
Her new “let me just win the race and play it cool” is a 51.68…. Let that sink in.
Sydney is gorgeous
THE G.O.A.T!
the best ever.
The Common Wealth Champion relegated 20 meters down at the finish ........come on ......this is insane running .
Could've been 30m, too, had Syd even tried.
@4:44 “ She looked tense at the start line” What is the commentator talking bout? Sydney always looks like she’s in terminator mode before every race,
lol she has that look on her face that would make you second guess asking her a question, her face says “ now is not the time” lol
yeah that comment was just stupid
This a a scouting race for Sydney she is preparing for world champs in Budapest next year. She is a beast 😂😂😂⚡️⚡️⚡️
@Certified Chaos nah she just padding up her resume. What's there to Scout, young man,lol
@@mario72g the climate for Budapest next year. Time comes and regions are different. Us athletes suffered in Tokyo last year. Syd didn’t because she visited Tokyo frequently. Athlete tend to travel two to three weeks ahead of the meets. To avoid jet lag. She killed two birds with one stone earned a heavy bag and scouted the area
@@mario72g if true, we would see her in many more races.
@@willaimoconnell9430 yea she just needed to see how her body would react or adjust to running in that climate
She runs so relaxed. What an amazing athlete.
Congrats to ya Sidney here coasting to da wire for this win here . Keep ya head up just do u . Best every time ya step on the track . Congrats to all ya have done thus far . Best to you n your husband. It’s that both found each other .
Beautiful and humble woman congratulations on winning and continuing to win 🏆 👏
no words to describe her. A modest time by her stand is faster than the world record of 3 years ago.
No quién le pueda ganar. La mejor vallista en 400 m hd de la historia.
This woman is becoming one of my favorite athletes
Congratulations unbeatable Sydney McLaughlin 🤝❤👏💪
Wow the female commentator was hating hard
She is serious and beautiful. Congrats!!!!!!
49 next year!!
She’s so relaxed & in control 🥇👏👏👏👏👏
Wow! Truly blessed
She is Amazing go Sid!!!!!!
She is so beautiful and so special
It's the stride for me!! She's only going to get better as her career continues.
So proud of you Sidney 👏
Sydney is out of this world!!!! There is everyone else, and then there is Sydney.
She doesn't even look winded! Legacy in the making 🔥
What makes the great great in any field? It's usually something not recognized. And McLaughlin has that difference maker. Inspiring athlete.
She's like the Federer's and the Zidane's with this effortless, elegant display. Amazing.
McLaughlin simply just ran the fastest 400m Hurdles time on the European continent! It's hocking how at ease and deceptive her speed is. She's been doing it since she ran NCAAs. Whatever Bobby Kersee is doing with his athletes should be made a standard for all training models. Been doing it since the 80's
What a damn monster!!!
It’s crazy she’s a beast
@@davonagrant5717, She is Probably from another planet.
She is so much faster than everyone else a true legend already
She deserves this!!!
Sydney's game face pre-event reminded me of Allyson
She makes it look so easy and effortless running under 52s
It's nice when McLaughlin finally smiles. The Hungarians seem like nice hosts.
I watched some of her film when she was 16 and 17 years old and the current races. .It all seems so seamless and easy for her to jump the hurdles and run down the lane ahead of everyone else. She must be really tall! I'm thinking she needs more challenges and challengers. Doesn't even breathe hard afterwards. And do not waste a second on haters...there will ALWAYS be someone who will be envious of you even if you had one eye, no teeth, and a horn growing out of your ear. Live for GOD, yourself, then your husband. Try fencing, diving or ballroom dancing. She has so gracefully mastered this sport! Really fun to watch! Keep breaking those records!!
How do they arrive at the world ranking? I saw Sydney at 2. I'm lost
The ranking is probably based on races entered and placement. Femke Bol is probably ranked #1 since she has entered and won more races this year. However, everyone knows Sydney is the one to beat...the other runners are competing for 2nd.
Athletes are rewarded bonus points for competing at diamond league races . Up to this point , Sydney was ranked 2 because she earned a lot of points from wins, but not many bonus points since she doesn’t compete in diamond league often . But with the world record performance ( bonus points ) and this performance , she’s now ranked number one .
@@joshwashington9011 but who checks those things. World Athletics federation or something or IAF? I just didn't know runners or athletes were ranked like this. Surprised to see it in this video
I look up to her so much! Go Sydney 🔥🔥🔥
Sydney always looks like that before her race. She said it's nerves.
It's Sydney's world. We just live in it
at peak of her game!
Sydney is a beast, always gives her all much respect.
