Just for clarification there seems to be allot of conflicting information online about medical beds and what they will do in the future so I have just said what I think sounds the most reasonable in the fact that tier 2 beds won't be just as good as tier 1 beds in a way. Sorry for any confusion and I could be wrong but who knows what the future wil bring.
Even though I know this would theoretically make the carrack and 890 jump have no respawning capabilities which imo would be really really annoying as they are the main selling point of them for me

A player may set a different regeneration location by visiting any Tier 1 or Tier 2 facility in a hospital, clinic or vehicle, and navigating the UI on a medical bed, medical bed’s end screen, or dedicated regeneration terminal. A player may reset their regeneration location to their primary residence via the same screens. Clinics, or Tier 2 medical facilities, can be found in most space stations around the 'verse, as well as smaller landing zones such as GrimHex. They can be used to stabilize a patient, treat minor to moderate injuries, and bring back a person from death. 3.15 So I think not all tier 2 beds are made equally. Some will have regen if they have the regen screen, some will only treat injuries. For the Apollo and other med bays coming for the RSI ships, Polaris and Galaxy, you can have tier 1 and 2 and for sure you will have a regen screen. Those are the only ships you can call home tbh
This ship has become super relevant with base building. Mount the base building module. Get the base done. Set any of the other modules and make money.

Really looking forward to this ship as I love the way it looks and all the functionality the modules bring fit the gameplay loops I am interested in. It is the biggest ship I own and was also the first one I did a proper CCU chain for so got it much cheaper.
Same I am also really looking forward to it coming out, hopefully not too long now, starting off the CCU chain on that ship and whilst it's in concept is going to be bringing big savings after you look at the release price!!
@@Duffer529 Absolutely. I think I ended up getting it for around half the concept price in the end so it will be interesting to see what price it ends up at. I haven't bought any modules yet for it though.

I'm really looking forward to this ship, I did go full-hog and grabbed the Galaxy Freighter when it was released. It's an upscale experience for full crew, since all 6 have their own quarters.
I am also really looking forward to it and it's my most anticipated ship for many reasons, great buying on the galaxy freighter one no full hog there just passionate about a ship lol

I like that the new feature for base building made the galaxy more important. Additionally I guess they will add this with a new modul called "base building" or idk
Yeah it gives it another feature to look forward too. The module was called manufacturing on the website and it can do large and below sized structure making, but this is basically all we know if unfortunately :(.
Don't care for the tiny hanger especially at this price. Needs more anti-fighter guns. I think there might be more cool options available with the endeavor once that is released.
A hangar able to carry a small fighter like the Arrow, Hawk or multiple Fury's is definetly better for defense than having additional anti-fighter turrets.
One error is the medical bay section. Carrack, 890J and future 600i rework all have Tier 2 beds which allow respawning. Tier 1 beds are currently only found in hospitals, and the Galaxy "Hospital", Apollo, and Endeavor medical modules will have T1 medbeds😊

@@Duffer529 from what i've seen you will be able to respawn on the T2 med beds but the distance from which you can respawn at will be limited rather than the way it is with T1's where you'll just respawn there regardless of distance
hmm that would be cool, this ship already kinda feels like an exploration ship with any module for me but I know what you mean. I really don't know what they could add down below, maybe like a system map like on carrack, Specific vehicle storage off to the side, larger fuel components and stuff. So many options tbf

I think if I had a single module where I could just combine those 2 I would be happy even if the price was on the higher side. You didn't comment on it but it was said this ship will do base building ❓ Last year I didn't though much about this ship because I had other ship that did the job of a Galaxy better... But base building add so much... I may trade my endeavor for this one this week when it goes on sale
I said about it briefly at some point but there was not enough confirmed information at the time for me to make a segment talking about it. But yeah it makes it have another reason to get the ship seeing as it's medium sized builds. Which is decent from what I see. I am hoping to get a couple more modules for it when it's on sale, would definitely recommend the ship 👍
You forgot to mention that they announced during citizencon that they plan on giving the Galaxy a base building module that will allow you to create large building structures
Thanks for the comment but At about 3:59 I mention this for a brief second but there is basically no information about it that I could find so I didn't bother to explain it as I will just do that in a specific base building video.

It was also shown as a 3rd tier base building ship, a step down from the Pioneer. And with its modularity I can easily see more modules being built. One last thing. Since they are developing all the RSI ships I can see the Galaxy bluing build in the next 3-4 years. I know it may seem like a long time but it’s in the pipeline and more than a lot of ships can say.
I hope you do as well. Maybe another ship sale for black Friday but idk if they do those here. Unfortunately price will only go up and up and it's already nearly the price of a carrack before release if you get 1 or 2 modules with it :(

Well I don't 100 percent know but I think At least in a year at a maximum as that is what they said in citizen con. Honestly though no one has said anything about when it's going to be released and the progress on it is a bit shady. For example it was one the progress tracker about a week ago and now it's nowhere to be seen :(

On the Galaxy I want to see missiles launch from the bridge almost like vertical launchers - perhaps at 45 degrees to be more practical if needed.
That would be pretty cool to watch from a far. Can just imagine a volley of missiles following you head first whilst flying into another ship lol
