I'm on mastercam 2022 Home Learning Edition; when i click Stock Model; It just says File Doesn't Exist? What should I do I have part loaded in Mastercam On Screen Same As You Have, just when I click Stock Model it says "File Doesn't Exist" 4 hours redoing it over and over Can I roll back MasterCam To A Previous Version???
You are correct. I have not updated this video since that revelation. I will note that some times I like to create the lines and solids in case I want to select any part of the stock I create. Usually not necessary though.
After creating setup model on a different level, it does not go off when i toggle off its visibility. It remains visible, Can you please tell me why? thank you
you dont really need to create lines and solids when creating the stock model, unless i missed something. I didnt create those and still could utilize the stock model. Also its easier to just create the stock model in the machine group and use 3d dynamic from outside, unless you need to do restmachining afterwards.
Yes, you are right he is not a Mastercam expert ;) btw, you can hide your stock model by pressing keys Alt+t or just click on the "3 waved lines" icon just above your machine group (next to a lock button) in your toolpath manage window :)
@@themachinetoolinstructor7410 Yes, we all learn new small things in Mastercam regularly, In every year Cnc software inc. programmers add new features with each new release of Mastercam Unfortunately, there won't be a new version next year :( In the new release in 2022, there will be some improvements on the stock model too (you will be able to offset stock on one face)
