Dindi has a background pala in modeling back then in the US and she stayed there for almost 8 years. She's very beautiful, bpci could've trained her more in public speaking. She's eloquent enough and has a great personality perfect for Miss Universe.

I think she deserved winning BBU1993 ... Dindi is more sexier than Ruffa. Ofcourse Ruffa is more stunning however, in all honesty hindi pang Miss Universe si Ruffa dahil May attitude din siya that time (obvious naman Plus yung Bruneiyuki Scandal) ... Dindi did well naman kahit papaano kaya lang during 90's ... TOP 10 lang ang tinatawag for Semi Finalist ... She almost made it (Top 11 tulad ni Abigail Arenas ... BBPU1996) ... Hindi kaya naging okay yung "Favoritisms" that year na pa or kay Ruffa. 😉😉😉
She is articulate if it is Taglish, code switching from English to Tagalog to English and so on. The problem with Dindi is that she knows so little about issues, as happens with rich kids. She is not well read, not well informed. One wonders how she performed in MU during the closed door interview. She is pretty but not a standout. Di sya kapansinpansin, napakababa ng energy, napakahina ng stage presence. By the way, Ms World was the highest title in Binibini at the time, which Ruffa got, not Ms universe. Ruffa was a standout, the smartest, confident, well read, and very spontaneous. Tama lang, don sya sa MU where she did not place, and Ruffa as 2nd princess sa MW. Wag kalimutan - pinakamahirap sa pinay manalo ng MW. Kapag d impressed sa u c julia morley, clapper ang kalalabasan mo. English snub, so to speak.
