Thanks again, Adam, for the great conversation! Appreciate all the heartwarming feedback from viewers. And to my detractors, your critiques only strengthen my journey of self-awareness and authenticity. When you truly know and own yourself, nothing can define you externally. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! ❤️
Ms. Dindi, if social media was only available back in 1993, folks including me could have been part of your cheering squad. I literally cried on the day of Miss Universe 1993: the brownout did cut the telecast, and learning that you did not enter the top 10. Certainly, you are one of my favourites!
the wisdom, that mindset, she spoke my heart and put it into words, Dindi deserves respect and admiration. take note, people of our generation. She’s a champion! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I got wide-eyed and teary-eyed at the same time on this interview. I feel like I have known Dindi much better and how it is back then with our Binibini queens. I hope Adam you feature more of our queens because for me, whether they placed or not, they were QUEENs in their own right!
Dindi is such a classy Queen indeed. Thank you Adam. I enjoyed this 2-part interview of yours… love Dindi ever since. Im sooo happy to hear her stories from her bb days up to her stint at MU. Kudos to you Dindi for being such an amazing torch bearer of our country at Miss Universe. You are an inspiration to aspiring beauty queens to never lose who they are and their authenticity in a pageant world wherein they are trying to change your persona into their own mold. This interview made me smile indeed. True blue pageant fans for sure felt being transported back to 1993 just like I did. Hats off to you Adam. Such a beautiful and enriching one on one indeed. More to come for sure from you.
I am so happy she was able to open up her experience. It was as if, she was able to clarify so many issues in the past that were kept hidden. She is truly one of the best queens. ❤
Dindi already had the Bb Universe crown in the bag regardless of how the Q&A with Apa Onglin turned out because she already impressed the judges during the closed -door panel interview
Luv Dindi! I was definitely mesmerized by her beauty. So ethereal. It felt nice to be transported back to her year as Miss Universe Philippines representative. Dayanara was also my choice! Very genuine and so beautiful. Dindi is very perceptive. Luv the interview ❤ Kudos Adam! You have grown a lot!
i watched the whole interview, i dont normally comment, but to be honest, i enjoyed watching it til the end without noticing that it was long, very interesting and such a good feeling to watch, so authentic, no pretentions, sounds positive and all, such a queen❤️
Super pretty pa rin , its good to hear and watch previous queens that we dont normally see anymore. Please feature Joanne Quintas/Santos next plz. Havent seen and heard her for a long time now.
It was indeed a tell-all of Dindi's BBP and MU journey. Adam you missed asking her about her NatCos. The scandal she was dragged before she left for Mexico, lets say the bombarding revelation of Ms Lolit Solis about her relationship with actor Mr Gabby Concepcion. I strongly believe that added up kya we can't blame Dindi, it was a stress tlga. However, her fumbled in BBP, she proved she was confident nman when she got 9.09 in her prelim interview.I knew binawi nya yon and she proved she was a rightful BBP-Universe1993 titleholder. Love ko na si Dindi fr BBP to MU93 until she joined showbiz back in 90s. Thanks God bless us all.
Her name "Dindi" became famous in gaylingo...i was rooting for ruffa that time but then even she tumbled in q&a still she composed and answered it well short and sweet..ur still a Miss Universe to us.❤❤❤
That's right. Align with the Latinas! Use "Filipinas" in your banner. Learn conversational Spanish (being Filipino, it's not that hard ).The Mexicans now own Miss Universe so MUPH should be strategic and lean into our own Hispanic colonial roots. To Dindi's point, why not demand an interpreter for the crucial Q&A?
Hi Adam, two things: you have gone a long way as host. More articulate and structured. Ang galing. But don’t use your index finger literally to stress your thoughts and what you are saying. You can use other hand gestures besides pointing you index finger. For Dindi, I find her more beautiful now .. physically and behind it. Without makeup and at 50s, wow!I guess it’s what you call inner glow. Thank you Adam.
What a pleasant interview. It reminded me of Dindi's journey during her BB Pilipinas days when she struggled with her Q&A but still managed to win the coveted crown. However, it was Ruffa G who really nailed the question. This made me wonder, what if Ruffa had been sent to Miss Universe instead? Would we have won a third crown earlier?
only 3 weeks left for training no wonder our girls didnt place at all..now of course we have beauty camps where girls train on and off for half to a full year plus the training at bb pilipinas once crowned and girls train and in all aspects of the competition esp q and a....thanks for this video
She's advocating to speak comfortably on your own language becauae she too clamned up and chocked on her answer during the q and a at that time. Good thing that she was all poised and beautiful despite the hiccup as BPCI still considered to give her the MU tilt because at that time BPCI is eyeing a placement or crown from MW and is more positive if given to Ruffa hence the title given to her instead of MU.
kahit tagalog pa din ang sagot ng candidate, kailangan pa ding maayos ang pag organize ng thought. dapat itinuturo ito sa mga schools hindi lang grammar.
There are a lot of Bisaya queens. Actually mahirap mag translate ng Bisaya to tagalog compare ng Bisaya to English. Just saying lng po. 😊 So mas better na mag salita po ang Bisaya directly to English. Mas easy lng po. 😊
@@user-bm5gd1nx7oit also happened in 1993. even the judges and dick clark were booed by the mexican audience after miss mexico failed to enter the first cut which is top 10
Asking advice like MU nowadays is blooming with integrity. MU now is not worthy. Even if the candidate is packing it all. The MU org would play the card of I dont like you to win because I hate your country .
Comparing of speaking tagalog vs spanish... Spanish is spoken to kilkions of people around the world...tagalog? So if latina SPEAKS spanish during Q&A, make no mistake, millions of peopke watching understand...if you speak tagalog?
and she says " probinsyanos or people from visayas " having a hard time translating bisaya to english? coming from someone who consistently cannot express herself spontaenously. all the best D .
She’s really beautiful but her words are all over the place. It took her so much time before she can point out things. And there were instances that she lost Adam in her stories.

If I'm not mistaken, Dindi's real name is Melinda Joanna Tanseco Gallardo.... Altang alta
Did not know Dindi was this eloquent. She sounds like a person who's at peace with herself. Happy for her.
Dindi was my bet in Binibini. I am so happy to see that she's still gorgeous as ever aftet 31 years.
the wisdom, that mindset, she spoke my heart and put it into words, Dindi deserves respect and admiration.

Now that I know, Dindi, what you’re made of, you’re a winner!

Dindi is my favourite, she is so gorgeous in that Bob Mackie dress, with just Bob hair and red lipstick😮 winner ❤

No make up . But wow she's so beautiful.
You are my favorite Ms. Universe Philippines🫅😘
I love this interview❤❤❤
Beauty with a substance ❤
Adam, I really enjoyed this interview, can you please feature former beauty queens , like a “Where Are They Now?” series in your channel ? Great job !

Dindi still pretty. Looks like Gal Gadot.
Now I understood why she won Bb.Pilipinas-Universe. Ang deeep pero may sense lahat

Dindi at that time was a very beautiful commercial model at that time. She was the beautiful hot sultry lady in the Close up toothpaste Ad Campaign.

I was not able to watch the live telecast of her Miss Universe 1993 because of rotational brownout during that time.

To how your relationship is with them.
She may have just missed the top 10 and could have placed 11th or 12th(?). If format was top 20 then she would have been called in there.

What i remembered with the 1993 pageant was the rudeness of the Mexican people towards with Miss USA when Miss Mexico didnt placed in the top 10

Dindi can speak english but if you observed her she has difficulty to converse what is in her mind.
