loud's owner just said that less wont be benched
They are basically forcing him to leave by cutting his salary
None of this makes sense to me as I would imagine he has a yearly contract and they would be obligated to pay him regardless (unless his agent is terrible). Like if he has an agreed amount he has to be paid on during the season he could file for damages if not paid.
maybe that's why the bench him, to not pay full amount
Similar things were said about the old EG players when they had to randomly take pay cuts or join other teams and i had the same question then. Isn't it illegal for a company to just randomly change the terms on a contract? Isnt the whole point of having a contract to make sure both parties hold up their end of a deal?
didnt loud say less getting benched was just a rumour?
Not really , they denied rumours of him leaving but nothing about him being benched !
They said the same thing about aspas last year
loud also said they had no problems with aspas and denied everything and look how that turned out 😟
is there a clause in their contracts that they get less money if they get benched?
typically in Esport they get 50% pay when benched. So we dont know for sure, but it's common practice.

Imo orgs shouldn’t be allowed to do that, they shouldn’t be allowed to just cut salaries players aren’t just allowed to get up and leave the org plus it’ll force budgeting so the league will have a general salary for players
The purpose of riot franchising evaluation of org financials is to ensure that this exact thing don't happen, but unfortunately eSports market isn't very good now.
It also doesn't make sense for riot to impose strict rules to prevent what you said either, it's too restrictive. They can introduce rules to discourage it though - for example in dota2, the points won in the tournament are tagged to the individual player.
So if tenz is sacked by sens, the points won during the kickoffs tourney will be reduced by 20%, and tenz will carry that 20% of points to his new team.
@@cnaizhen thats kinda fire whattt
Everyone here crying about 25k a month need to realise that most esport pros don't have a career longer than 7-10 years. That's all the time they have to make money in that field.
we need less in a team that can win again
25k a month and we wonder why eSports is financially struggling 😂 not even player like TenZ with all his clout should be getting that kind of money. these orgs need to stop being stupid and focus on the long term.
I feel like it's never about salary, it's just an excuse
$25k/month!!! esports player earning that much😮
They're paid what companies are willing to pay them. Also less and loud are title contenders so not surprising.
25k was just an example but I’m sure it’s around there
@@jakobsaldana46 kindda crazy they getting so much bread j sby playing games at such a high level although really shit job security
Yeah thats not uncommon
@@rix1c992 very true but i believe it came from a time where esports was in a good position so they overpaid players
