What do you think about the Beringer CT100 vs your Mackie?
Those bad cables can still be used if you cut the ends off and re-solder. Better yet, put a new end on that is more durable.
Sad but the development folks decided to incorporate an extremely low quality (and in my case) non-functional battery compartment on this thing. Why? To reduce cost? No product evaluations? Don’t waste your time. Check out a different unit.
