Today we venture into the world of movie makeovers and explore the cruel world of unattainable beauty standards which causes most youngsters to spiral into a deep hole of insecurity and comparison with their peers. FOR YOUR #entertainment HOW FUN RIGHT
So the week I chose to do this glow up makeover, almost every thing did not go as planned but that is indeed the way of life nowadays. Hope you all enjoy this yummy episode of Faline Why, and I'll see you in the next one (you won't see me though I'll eat your eyeballs)

In response to 3:47, a more affordable and better recommendation for moisturisers would probably be either Cetaphil or Cerave (both are unscented). CeraVe is apparently a better option because it's better for acne prone skin. Cetaphil (which I use) is better for sensitive and dry skin & works well for me, but whatever brand you use really depends on your skin type so take this with a grain of salt. Hope this helps in the future :)

As a girl with Esczma I can say if you see (for sensative skin/ esczma) you can still use it if you don’t have it and it’s very good bc it has less chemicals and it’s soft in your skin. Yw

Fun fact about braces: as long as you're careful, you can still eat almost anything. Or at least I have. Chocolate, pretzels, I've even battled laffy taffies before (gotta be careful with those) but I haven't had a single thing go wrong. Maybe I'm just blessed by the dental gods or something.

8:07 As someone who has needed to go to an orthodontist to get my teeth straightened, I can relate to the sensation/experience so hard. The ammount of times that I’ve needed to have that stupid gunk in my mouth is ridiculous. Bad gag reflexes plus two coats of paste blocking my airways is not a good combo tbh.

One reason I stay away from most skincare products is because everyone focuses on products that keep your skin hydrated, but I have the opposite problem. My face is oily and moist ALL THE TIME no matter what I do. 😑 The few times I tried some products my face completely dried out, so I guess I'm just doomed to perpetually have an oily sheen (which also makes my face feel gross). I've had my acne pretty much under control for years but the oil will not be deterred.
How about trying an oil control toner? And moisturizing is still important even with oily skin, just get the water based kinds. I have really oily skin too and I find using both very helpful 💞

I also had a troubling experience trying to get those exact nails as well. When i asked the mail artist to do that and showed her the picture she laughed at me then grabbed my phone, looked at her friend and then they both laughed. I ended up only getting plain black

Oh bestie. As someone who had braces and wears a retainer...the retainer mold thing is LITERALLY the worst. It was such a horrible experience, probably in my top 5 of Worst Teeth Experiences possible. Up there with brace wires constantly poking me, having 3 of my teeth pulled out, etc

As someone who had multiple different retainers throughout my life, I know what the mold making process is like and I am so sorry you went through that for basically no reason-
hey girl, if ur still got some acne left over a really good brand is The Ordinary a good combo is the Niacinamide acid and Salicylic Acid ( with the Niacinamide do a spot check on ur arm) just apply them between ur skin cleanser and moisturiser, the Niacinamide u apply morning and evening while the Salicylic just in the evening, hopes this helps (it helped me heaps)

When you started explaining the retainer mold I could feel your pain since it had been done to me two times for my braices and yes it's torture.
As someone with a lot of ezchema, moisturisers feeling like they burn is normal but they shouldn't cause worse skin problems. If other moisturisers burn I recomend using something to fan out youir face

I only got my teeth whitened once, right after they took my braces off. That tooth pain is real and i did not like when they said it was normal!

I did some research on it due to me getting it multiple times when using different moisturizers. There's nothing wrong with the moisturizer...

It's like an allergic reaction. Some moisturizers are too strong for some people's skin, therefore it does the opposite effect that it was intended to do. It dries your skin out. So it would be best if you tried going for a 'sensitive' moisturizer instead.
And if you get the burning feeling again first immediately wash it off, put some vaseline on the burning places and either hold a cold towel or an ice pack on your face.
Hope this helped anyone who struggles with this sort of thing. ❤
