- Rose and the girls pick some highbush cranberries and make some home made cranberry juice using the wood cook stove.
This stuff is unique and powerful! The fresh berries will twist your face off but after steamer juicing on the cook stove and adding a little honey, the juice will blow your mind.
We time Rose on the wood cook stove to put down some concrete numbers for important things like how long it takes to make me tea.

Freeze a couple handfuls (to break the berry down) and put in a few bottles of kombucha next time.
YES! good suggestion and will try....except I cant find any high bush cranberries in my BC region, mango not-from-concentrate is my next kombucha taste testing!
@@sallyrosser4590 : Frozen mango pieces work very well. If you try it, do at least some mango/blueberry combo. In my opinion the best flavour of kombucha, ever.

Mix The cranberry juice with apple juice. Heavy on the cranberry and light on the apple juice.

I was out picking blackberries this afternoon on the hills near Belfast. I've been doing this for 65 years. This was my fourth session this autumn and I now have enough to last me a good 4-5 months. Just being out and doing it is so therapeutic!
Johnny Mac we LOVE Blackberries but the nearest thicket is many hours away. Enjoy them!
