This actually randomly popped up in my feed, and as someone who has been doing 15 out of the 22 yrs doing similar stuff. To me, this is a Masterpiece dude. Great work
Hi, i was wondering how i would set up a mixer to control the mixer on cubase? so the channels on cubase run throught the mixer and i can add external affects to them. would i need to connect the mixer to a midi interface? cheers
DMWSOUND I use a SoundCraft signature 12mtk (multi track version). Where I can record and take the recordings back to my mixer using the USB return in mixer. Where you can get all your channels into the mixer, You'll have to do the patching right in order to get your stems into the mixer. I use the inbuilt lexicon FX processor which has a decent reverb and delay patches. If you're planning to connect a reverb or delay unit externally, use aux send and return on mixer. Mine has 3, where one is for the inbuilt FX processor and other 2 for external things which can be connected.
