It’s so true. Goldenflower, while not having the ever-lovable main protagonist syndrome she still was smart and great addition to her clan as she served it as a queen. And Tigerstar, ohhhh, Tigerstar. Of course he had a legacy to protect. A good one? Not at all. But his previous reputation of being a strong and worthy warrior was what Brambleclaw/star really needed to protect as leader. And as well with Firestar, who would be somewhat his father-in-law really left behind a legacy to uphold with his justice and wisdom, especially since he was also his mentor. God, I just love this MAP so much.
When you said Tigerstar doesn’t have a good legacy that’s true but Hawkfrost held up that legacy so in a way Tigerstar’s bad legacy was still continued on. (I’m trying not to give any spoilers to anyone who hasn’t read The Last Hope)
Plus, it seems as if Firestar is like a sort of fatherly figure to Bramblestar, Bramblestar, then Bramblepaw, showed no emotion to Tigerstar’s death. Look at Firestar’s, Bramblestar was super sad about his death and didn’t feel worthy!
When he said “just a legacy to protect” I started to laugh cause! OakStar’s son was PineStar! PineStar’s son was TigerStar! TigerStar’s son was BrambleStar! BrambleStar’s sister’s son was TigerStar2.0 It’s a family of leaders! XD
I think that the author is a Hamilton fan. I haven’t actually read Warriors yet (I have it on hold at the library), but her other book series, Bravelands, does have a few Hamilton references, that are impossible to be coincidences. My friend who has read most of Warriors says that the plot is meant to follow Hamilton. So... yeah.

I am studying the American Revolution in school. At the end of class, I asked my teacher to play songs from the Hamilton Musical. Ik I'm late commenting but I feel this really expresses what Brambleclaw/star went through. Everyone now just remembers him from Squifls hope but I feel like in that book the Erin's just completely changed him personality. Cause in tpb, tnp, tpo3 and the super editions (I haven't read avos) he was more caring and kind and he really cared, but it Squifls hope his personality was just pushed aside. And so many things happened in his life, him being born to a murderer that all the clans hated, him having to prove himself time and time again of being loyal, his sister leaving tc, him being tricked into training with Tigerstar and hawk boi, the whole thing with the kits etc. so much went wrong for him which shaped him into a cat I really like, but in Squifls hope, his personality was thrown away. That's just my opinion :))

I just remembered something If Firestar hadn't risked his life to save Brambleclaw during the fire.... Brambleclaw would've died. He owed his life to Squirrelflight's father. He loved Squirrelflight more than life. I just made myself cry.
I’ve seen Hamilton many times. and I’ve read warriors many times. I love how you showed the pain Bramblestar had to go through with being compared to tigerstar, but then he had to carry on firestar. And that’s exactly how burr felt with Hamilton. They both had things to prove (firestar being a kitty pet, Hamilton being an orphan and such) and burr and Bramblestar had to live up to Hamilton and firestar a legacy which is painful considering they’re both so different in leading and life. Thank you. Because warriors and Hamilton are my two favorite things and I love to see them come together.

I feel that we don't get these kind of maps anymore. Sure the newer maps are great but this came from a greater time. The Golden Era of Warriors maps if you will. I just love watching MAPs that show the importance of a certain cat's life, and how much of the hate they got from life just gets thrown back in the end. This MAP actually made me cry, I loved each and every part of the animation that came through.

People blame Bramblestar for a lot of things, even more with how the Erins wrote Squirrelflight’s Hope but have people forgotten what HE has been though His father was exiled from Thunderclan because he was a evil piece of shit when he was just a kit He’s a spitting image of Tigerstar causing cats, including Firestar who was the deputy and his mentor at the time, to question his loyalty His sister left Thunderclan for Shadowclan because she couldn’t take what the other cats where saying, I give props to him for being able to stay in Thunderclan and become the best warrior he can be He turned down his father in front of all 4 clans when asked to join him, then watched as Scourge ripped away his nine life’s with one blow, watched him die 9 times in a row He was one of the few apprentices to fight in the battle against Bloodclan, one of the ones to kill Bone, fought in the second battle with Bloodclan and fury, protecting and backing Graystripe the whole way Was chosen by Starclan as just a young warrior to go see midnight, Squirrelpaw black mailing him to let her come Firestar once again not trusting him because of the Fire and Tiger prophecy Tried to have a relationship with his brother, witch Squirrelflight just had to try and ruin, before he killed Hawkfrost to save Firestars life Had to deal with Ashfur being all jealous because he can’t handle Squirrelflight just didn’t like him that way anymore Let’s be honest, wouldn’t you be mad if your mate lied to your face and the whole clan saying that they where her and his kits, only to find out there weren’t after raising them almost there whole life Defended/protected Hollyleaf when she came back to Thunderclan when she was about to say the real TRUTH about her killing Ashfur, witch means he had to have figured it out before other cats yet even when him and Squirrelflight where on bad terms he protected the cat he raised, not knowing how the outcome would come Hawkfrost killed Hollyleaf, the tried to kill Ivypool. Brambleclaw killed him for the second and final time Had to watch as his father and the cat who practically raised him fought to the death, watched them both die What cat could really replaced Firestar? Becoming leader after him and after what he did for all the clans is a huge and hard thing to do, especially when there were still dealing with the aftermath of the battle and the cats who trained/fought for the darkforest (cough Breezepelt) The beginning of his leadership wasn’t easy, with the Flood witch made them have to live in the tunnels, finding out about Skyclan The battle with the badgers all because he was being a good brother Having to deal with Darktail and let Skyclan stay in Thunderclans camp until they had a place and where fit enough to travel Defended Skyclan against Tigerstar 2.0 All of witch he didn’t loose a life until stupid stupid Ashfur decided he would possess Bramblestar just because he was still jealous about Squirrelflight Ashfur made the clans think it was him turning into his father So really, he’s been though a lot and it’s not over yet…
I desperately hope he and Squirrelflight will have the next 2 arcs to be happy together before they'll have to join StarClan, they deserve to be happy with no stupid bullshit disrupting their relationship again.
This is the comment I have been looking for and this explains perfectly the shit Brambleclaw/star went through in life and this is why I love Bramblestar but many people only see his flaws and roots for Squirrelflight but take a step back you will understand why he is acting the way he is. The Ashfur thing f'd him up mentally but I hope in the new arc he will become the leader he used to be.
This song just fit's bramblestar so well. Especially with when the singer is talking about his grandfather, Mother, and father. The family of the singer fits Bramblestar's family. I love how this map turned out, it fits Bramble so well and all the participants worked so hard and they all came together to make this look amazing. Fantastic job to everyone who was involved in this map!

I feel that we don't get these kind of maps anymore. Sure the newer maps are great but this came from a greater time. The Golden Era of Warriors maps if you will. I really live this map so so so so so much I can't express it with words. Bramblestar has and will always be my favorite character from start to end

OML. I cried for 3 hours when I finished The Last Hope, because Firestar died. Firestar was my friend for like all the arcs ( Except for Vision of Shdows and the newest arc The Broken Code)!

I just love watching MAPs that show the importance of a certain cat's life, and how much of the hate they got from life just gets thrown back in the end. This MAP actually made me cry, I loved each and every part of the animation that came through.
I love how Firestar is always Hamilton in the Hamilton MAPs, it's like the community has just reached the consensus that,
"Yes, Firestar=Hamilton"

When I first saw this, I thought of the other Wait For It PMV and I thought there was no way I could picture the song for anyone other than Oakheart- I was WRONG. This was SO well put together. Absolutely stunning. I love this community so damn much !!!
People blame Bramblestar for a lot of things, even more with how the Erins wrote Squirrelflight’s Hope but have people forgotten what HE has been though
His father was exiled from Thunderclan because he was a evil piece of shit when he was just a kit
He’s a spitting image of Tigerstar causing cats, including Firestar who was the deputy and his mentor at the time, to question his loyalty
His sister left Thunderclan for Shadowclan because she couldn’t take what the other cats where saying, I give props to him for being able to stay in Thunderclan and become the best warrior he can be
He turned down his father in front of all 4 clans when asked to join him, then watched as Scourge ripped away his nine life’s with one blow, watched him die 9 times in a row
He was one of the few apprentices to fight in the battle against Bloodclan, one of the ones to kill Bone, fought in the second battle with Bloodclan and fury, protecting and backing Graystripe the whole way
Was chosen by Starclan as just a young warrior to go see midnight, Squirrelpaw black mailing him to let her come
Firestar once again not trusting him because of the Fire and Tiger prophecy
Tried to have a relationship with his brother, witch Squirrelflight just had to try and ruin, before he killed Hawkfrost to save Firestars life
Had to deal with Ashfur being all jealous because he can’t handle Squirrelflight just didn’t like him that way anymore
Let’s be honest, wouldn’t you be mad if your mate lied to your face and the whole clan saying that they where her and his kits, only to find out there weren’t after raising them almost there whole life
Defended/protected Hollyleaf when she came back to Thunderclan when she was about to say the real TRUTH about her killing Ashfur, witch means he had to have figured it out before other cats yet even when him and Squirrelflight where on bad terms he protected the cat he raised, not knowing how the outcome would come
Hawkfrost killed Hollyleaf, the tried to kill Ivypool. Brambleclaw killed him for the second and final time
Had to watch as his father and the cat who practically raised him fought to the death, watched them both die
What cat could really replaced Firestar? Becoming leader after him and after what he did for all the clans is a huge and hard thing to do, especially when there were still dealing with the aftermath of the battle and the cats who trained/fought for the darkforest (cough Breezepelt)
The beginning of his leadership wasn’t easy, with the Flood witch made them have to live in the tunnels, finding out about Skyclan
The battle with the badgers all because he was being a good brother
Having to deal with Darktail and let Skyclan stay in Thunderclans camp until they had a place and where fit enough to travel
Defended Skyclan against Tigerstar 2.0
All of witch he didn’t loose a life until stupid stupid Ashfur decided he would possess Bramblestar just because he was still jealous about Squirrelflight
Ashfur made the clans think it was him turning into his father
So really, he’s been though a lot and it’s not over yet…
I desperately hope he and Squirrelflight will have the next 2 arcs to be happy together before they'll have to join StarClan, they deserve to be happy with no stupid bullshit disrupting their relationship again.
This is the comment I have been looking for and this explains perfectly the shit Brambleclaw/star went through in life and this is why I love Bramblestar but many people only see his flaws and roots for Squirrelflight but take a step back you will understand why he is acting the way he is. The Ashfur thing f'd him up mentally but I hope in the new arc he will become the leader he used to be.

This song just fit's bramblestar so well. Especially with when the singer is talking about his grandfather, Mother, and father. The family of the singer fits Bramblestar's family. I love how this map turned out, it fits Bramble so well and all the participants worked so hard and they all came together to make this look amazing.
