Firestar was a true hearted cat, for that we miss him, His mother saw a vision Her son on a rock She called out but with no awnser She than realized she wasn't in his destiny.. His destiny was his own. His own choice till the very end His last breath His last flame. Died out.
I love how you showed everyone people that FireStar cared for, joining him around his corpse: His last apprentice and deputy Brambleclaw, his daughters Squirrelflight and Leafpool, the love of his life Sandstorm, his best friend Graystripe and his nephew Cloudtail. They were his true family.
I just can't help but think of TennelleFlowers' rewrite of Power of Three-there Firestar dies in the camp fire sequence getting everyone out. And then of course we'll still get Tigerstar vs Firestar, but IMAGINE THE STAKES of two spirit cats fighting. If Firestar is injured too heavily he disappears forever to rest. That would've been so much more emotional than a living Firestar vs dead Tigerstar as we all know even if Firestar dies we'd still see him in StarClan.
Tigerstar truly was a perfect villan, no tragic back story to make you feel any sympathy for him, and the fact that he loses both lives to kittypets is truly fitting
Well he actually had one. When he was just a kit (SPOILERS FOR BLUESTAR'S PRIPHECY) so. When he was just a kit, his dad: Pinestar abandoned him to become e kittypet. He was so devastated from this and that also where his hate for kittypets was born.

Honestly yes, I don't remember one leader who actually put their Clan first all the time. Bluestar was, but then she let her emotions take over. Tallstar comes close behind though.
To be honest, I think Greystripe would of been devastated inside when he saw Firestar dead. They have been together forever. Always helped eachother, and now he can’t see him.
I think that Graystripe was hurt the most by Firestar’s death. He was with Firestar from the moment he joined Thunderclan and supported him as much as he could. Even when he was with RiverClan. Rest In Peace, Firestar. You will be missed.
I feel like once Firestar became leader the whole fandom kinda forgot about him. Like we knew he was there and alive but we focused on other characters instead and some people even started to call Firestar boring. In the back of my mind I wondered if he would just die off screen. And for some reason I was ok with it. I would be sad but not devastated. An I think the fandom felt the same. But when this scene came, and Firestar died, it hit the whole fandom like a truck and suddenly we realized that, yes Firestar is actually dead. When this scene came up I cried. It was amazing and exactly how Firestar would go out. He lived a good life and loved his clan. This map showed it. He never lost hope and was always there for his family and friends. This is why I love Firestar and this map.
Me too and I agree, Firestar will always be my favorite character, and favorite leader. I’ve always been partial to him because he kind of reminds me of my pet cat RB, Who passed away three or four years ago even my mother is like that too. And I will never forget him!🐱🧡
FireStar was a Mary Sue and boring, I’m glad he died. I don’t think he deserved to or did anything bad, I just wanted a change of pace. We got that with bramble but bramble is abusive and horrible, so that takes the fun out of a new leader. I think firestar is a bad character, a good person, and his death was for the best. If he kept living that battle would’ve been worthless and nothing good story wise would’ve come from it.

This map would make any fan of this story cry. Over time, we lost interest in the essentials, we focused on the other characters. The young red cat and all his companions who had made us want to read again and again were in the background. The more I read the books the less interesting I found it, but this battle, this death rekindled the flame that shone for this saga. Back to basics, at the end the characters that I loved so much and who fell into oblivion, were all gathered. Each of them representing a piece of this story, I watch them one by one and remember all of the evenings of my childhood reading, crying and laughing, imagining the warriors running through forests and plains and swimming through rivers and swamps. . The story of the young red cat and his allies with the heart of a warrior, each of the links he created, the moments he shared are exposed before my eyes. I can feel them come back to glow, lit by the flame that burned in my childhood. It's much more than a saga ...
Every time I saw the map call, I reflected on just one thing: He had a human family, a family that certainly loved him, and he would be alive if he never left. But he wouldn't be so happy, he wouldn't have saved his clan, he wouldn't have made all his friends and family, but now both families have lost him, and the human family will never know what happened because who would have thought that a kitty pet would become one such a strong leader? I can't imagine something like this happening to my cat haha Everyone involved did a wonderful job! I shivered from start to finish, I miss your videos Sarah, I hope you can achieve everything you want! Oh and good luck with your pregnancy! I bet will be a wonderful child! ^^
After i finished reading Omen of the Stars: The Last Hope i stopped reading Warrior cats because to me it felt like it was a good ending for the series at least to me. The journey we had with Rusty/Firepaw/Fireheart/Firestar had come to an end and Warrior cats had given me some fond memories. This video was well done gave me the suspense of what i read in the books. Props to everyone who worked so hard on this and Warrior cats will always have a special place in my heart.
I felt the same way. The other books afterwards are.... eh. Firestar's death was the perfect conclusion, the other books past it are just clearly a, for lack of a better term, money grab.
It was the same for me, after a Time i give a try AND your must see needlepaw/alderpaw Is so deep, your Will no regret the new plots! ITS a new cycle, there aré a few connections to the past but i understand clearly, no character Will be like firestar anymore, even His great grandaughters !

I think if i start reading the books again i will be into it haha but just need to take the step for it. I did the same thing. Vicky Holmes was the original Erin hunter and in my opinion her books were best. She stopped working on warriors after omen of stars because she felt it was the end, so I stopped reading them at omen of stars too. I will always love warriors though!

Imagine exploring a lake, then seeing a cat’s spirit fighting a cat that looks like the pet of your neighbours who ran away. Im saying a joke but seriously, how could people dislike this masterpiece
TEARS were shed, CHILLS were had. This brought back all the feelings I felt from the book when I read it the first time but amplified it a hundred percent.
Oh man.... And after so long, I finally managed to see the finished product. It was such a wonderful honor to partake in this project with you, Maroon! I have learned a lot from this project, and it was a wonderful experience working with you on this MAP. I was really happy when I found I got the part, and I could never have been more thankful to show you what I can do. It was also fun to get to know the other animators in the project, too! When I found out Firestar was dead, I was truly astounded! He was a brave warrior and a mighty leader. May he never fade away! May we fans keep him alive in Starclan! May he rest in peace. April 3, 2012. Our noble leader and long known friend Firestar passed away. He was a great cat. Loved by many. A legend amongst the clans. Looked after everyone even into his elderly years. The almost the entirety of Thunderclan could call him "grandfather". Not only did he look out for his clan, but he looked out for everyone. From a kittypet, to a hero. He will be remembered, and never, will he be forgotten.
Everyone in this MAP did amazing, and we will always remember him Fantastic Inspiring Ready to risk his life for loved ones Extraordinary Skillfull Trusting Amazing Respected from all of us Firestar Never gave up, he stood not only for himself- But for the whole of starclan, and the clans below He will be remembered as a hero, who died for his clans.
I’m not a Warriors veteran. I’m not even on AVoS yet. But I still know how much Firestar means to me, and everyone else. When we were all blind to this world, so was he. Firestar was almost like a mentor to all of us, teaching us the way of the Clans in those first six books. And he continued to be as amazing. When he faded into the background with all the other cats from The Prophecies Begin, we all stopped appreciating him. But every battle fought, every step taken, every breath drawn, every word spoken, it was all for his Clan. He sacrificed so much to keep them safe. When he died, it was like a fire was ignited inside all of us, remembering those first days when Firestar was just a mere kittypet. We all remembered how much he cared for his friends and mate. How much he sacrificed. How much he fought. He was truly The Fire That Saved the Clan. From Rusty, to Firepaw, to Fireheart, to Firestar, he was always a legend. StarClan will welcome him to their ranks, and he will always be known as one of the bravest warriors there was.
Once a kittypet.. always a kittypet?.. No. A cat is a cat. And every cat has a chance. And this kittypet? Had a flame in his heart. And it burned bright. Bright as fire. From a simple house cat. to a leader.
I remember when I was like 7 or 8 when I found out Firestar died (I didn't watch this). Then when this came out, I bawled my eyes out, I loved Firestar even though he a basic character. He started as a small flame, leaving his home and joining the clans. He found friends, found someone to love, he fought wars, he brought back a clan, he never gave up. Firestar kept on fighting, even though his flame was dying from the huge one that was sparked, he still fought, even to the very end. He may not been liked by many people, but he is one of my favorites... He was the one that made the Warrior cats fandom. May Firestar rest with his friends in Starclan

I love how anti-climatic the fight scene is. Like Tigerclaw just goes SPLOOF across FireStar’s neck and suddenly he’s dead XD. Great animatic, I loved watching it. Good work!
Imagine just- hiking in a forest- you see a war between cats- you could possibly end it all by simply stepping into the forest clearing- but for some dumbass reason you don’t? And watch as a bunch of cats kill each other-
The look on Graystripes face when he saw Firestar dead was just. . . Heartbreaking. And the way that this was called Firestar’s final Flame? Stop your making me cry!!!!! The music and everything
The dialogue between Firestar and Tigerstar gave me the chills. Very well done! Also, 1:11 shows the scar Tigerstar got from Scourge. Nice attention to detail, Shelly Key!

After just finishing “Omen Of The Stars” with this scene and Brambleclaw becoming Bramblestar its so awesome to watch a video on it, just how i imagined when reading it!
3:46 I really like the detail that the cats came to gather around him and grieve, but you can tell Cloudtail (Firestars nephew) is one of the saddest, so is Squirrelflight (His daughter) and Sandstorm (His mate.)
I cannot stop watching this and thinking each time, "the amount of hard work and effort everyone put in to this is amazing." in other words, this video absolutely slays.

TEARS were shed, CHILLS were had. This brought back all the feelings I felt from the book when I read it the first time but amplified it a hundred percent.
Oh man.... And after so long, I finally managed to see the finished product. It was such a wonderful honor to partake in this project with you, Maroon! I have learned a lot from this project, and it was a wonderful experience working with you on this MAP. I was really happy when I found I got the part, and I could never have been more thankful to show you what I can do. It was also fun to get to know the other animators in the project, too!
It was an honor to have been in this project, period, and I am so happy to finally see it be finished. I'm not good with words, but I really do admire this project greatly. Thank you for everything, Maroon. ♥

When I found out Firestar was dead, I was truly astounded! He was a brave warrior and a mighty leader. May he never fade away! May we fans keep him alive in Starclan! May he rest in peace.
April 3, 2012. Our noble leader and long known friend Firestar passed away. He was a great cat. Loved by many. A legend amongst the clans. Looked after everyone even into his elderly years. The almost the entirety of Thunderclan could call him "grandfather". Not only did he look out for his clan, but he looked out for everyone. From a kittypet, to a hero. He will be remembered, and never, will he be forgotten.
AAH THIS IS GORGEOUS everyone created such depth, right down to the voice acting. I’m so proud and honored to be in this project

I’m not a Warriors veteran. I’m not even on AVoS yet. But I still know how much Firestar means to me, and everyone else. When we were all blind to this world, so was he. Firestar was almost like a mentor to all of us, teaching us the way of the Clans in those first six books. And he continued to be as amazing. When he faded into the background with all the other cats from The Prophecies Begin, we all stopped appreciating him. But every battle fought, every step taken, every breath drawn, every word spoken, it was all for his Clan. He sacrificed so much to keep them safe. When he died, it was like a fire was ignited inside all of us, remembering those first days when Firestar was just a mere kittypet. We all remembered how much he cared for his friends and mate. How much he sacrificed. How much he fought. He was truly The Fire That Saved the Clan. From Rusty, to Firepaw, to Fireheart, to Firestar, he was always a legend. StarClan will welcome him to their ranks, and he will always be known as one of the bravest warriors there was.

I remember when I was like 7 or 8 when I found out Firestar died (I didn't watch this). Then when this came out, I bawled my eyes out, I loved Firestar even though he a basic character.
He started as a small flame, leaving his home and joining the clans. He found friends, found someone to love, he fought wars, he brought back a clan, he never gave up. Firestar kept on fighting, even though his flame was dying from the huge one that was sparked, he still fought, even to the very end. He may not been liked by many people, but he is one of my favorites... He was the one that made the Warrior cats fandom. May Firestar rest with his friends in Starclan

I love how anti-climatic the fight scene is. Like Tigerclaw just goes SPLOOF across FireStar’s neck and suddenly he’s dead XD. Great animatic, I loved watching it. Good work!
