SJK has a very rich owner which made them go through the league system and to becoming Finnish champions very quickly. When my local team, from of a town of 9000 people, finally managed to win their league in the third tier it was a season where they made changes to the system so only one team was promoted to the second tier. That meant the three winners in the third tier and the best second placed team played semifinals and a final to decide who would win promotion. In the semifinals the team from my home town faced Klubi 04, the reserve team of HJK, with a young Joel Pohjanpalo in the team and managed to go through and in the final SJK was the opponent. Of course our small town team didn't have a chance against the rich team and four years later they were champions of Finland. My team never managed something like this again and last year they were relegated from the fifth tier and are now in the middle of the table in their league in the sixth tier.

If someone has made a Seinäjoki game i'm still waiting for it. :P

I agree. It would be about time to get him to practice the urban structure of Seinäjoki. Usually, when this town appears in these games, it seems to cause significant difficulties.

Former Football team RIlves (Riihimäen Ilves) trained and played there for a couple years. 😂

Missed the mark on 3rd round as well, went too far south on the road and lost 2 points. But the rest were pretty easy to get.
@19:35 Matkakeskus means just transport hub (lit. travel center), not gonna find a district called that.

What you said about the rubber pellets reminds me of something that someone once told me. She owned a cheap bean bag chair that was really filled with these pellets. One evening, when she was really tired, one of her young kids walked past her covered with these pellets. Her instant thought was that oh no, please no. But unfortunately, yes: her kids had torn the bag apart and the pellets were all over the place. There's no easy way to clean those things, they can't be vacuumed, they must be picked individually and they stick to everything. It must have been a huge job. She took her eyes off her kids only for a moment, and that happened.

Finnish national football team plays at Olympic stadium. Also the stadium was renovated a few years back with a hefty sum of ~
    €340M.

Thanks for playing my map. I personally love football in every aspect and follow Finnish football leagues a lot, and yes, I don't like ice hockey and I believe that one day in the future football will take the 1st spot in Finland over ice hockey. (Currently 2nd)
1st round: Good old struggling 😀A little background about the club that plays there: Club is owned & funded by a millionaire that owns OmaSP. The club was promoted to Veikkausliiga in 2014. They had a pretty nice first season as they finished 2nd and even nicer second season as they won the league. They were still then playing in the old ground which wasn't good enough as it didn't meet any UEFA standards.
3:34 That is their indoor training place with a full-sized football pitch and gym etc.
2nd round: FC Jazz used to be a great team in the Finnish premier league back in the 90s, they won the league in 1993 & 1996. In early 2000s they struggled financially and got demoted in 2004 and after went bankrupt. Nowadays they're playing in the third division and slowly trying to get back to 1st division. Just recently published plans to make own smaller stadium just for football.
3rd round: Its just an indoor football ground, not arena, probably picked it to the map accidentally. No team plays there and its just for youth football in winter. However you discovered my favourite football club Ilves Tampere ;) they are btw 4th in Veikkausliiga at the moment just 2 points behind 1st place.
4th round: About artificial grass fields, EU recently banned the rubber from being used in fields as of year 2031. So basically when they switch the old artificial grass to newer ones they nowadays use a new biomaterial that is made out of wood or sand. Finland is basically too cold country for natural grass fields. Only two teams in Veikkauliiga play on natural grass.
25:41 HJK has only a football team. They used to have ice hockey team in the early 1900s. And yes HJK were playing UCL qualifiers this week.
5th round: About the Olympic stadium: It was being renovated in 2016-2020 and the renovation final cost was around 337 million euros. (Fun fact: Friends arena with capacity of 50,000 in Sweden was built for less money than the renovation cost). The biggest problem with olympic stadium as a football fan is the running tracks. It's kinda lame being so far away from the pitch.
You should rather pick AC Oulu to support, your favorite city and they even have an american player in their starting 11! Justin Rennicks who just transferred from MLS club New England. He has played in the USA U20 national team back in 2018!
Ps. you could play a Sweden football stadiums next in the stadium series?
