Finally! A man that's not trying to be on here trying to hear himself talk! Thanks for being straight to the point and simplifing this break down. Well done!!!!! I like this guy.
Absolutely brilliant. I needed to remove my center console in order to install a rocker switch for new light bars, your video made it amazingly simple. Thank you!
I can't get that metal trim piece out. The clips don't budge. I can see them but I can't unclip them. I don't have that blue tool. Can I use a spatula like device and pry outward from the top of the trim? Or is prying from the bottom the only way? Thanks for video!!!
@@HiTechElectronic what is your suggestions? Of the double din replacement control? And the new stereo that is capable with this put together? Thank you
@@HiTechElectronic so I found a compatible double din part should I purchase with the wire harness it comes with ? DIN Installation Kit + Control Interface ?
Disconnect the battery in your vehicle, it might reset you changer. If it still has a problem then you need to take it to you local service center for repair or send it to us.
I was able to remove it as a last step. What about those 4 plugs in the back of radio? What tools are needed? Do I have to press something in while pulling them out or do I just pull the out?
Do you how long I have driven that car around with an ashtray that wouldn't close - years! And I fixed it in 5 minutes with the help of your video - thanks!!

@HiTechElectronic I am going to send it in to you to fix. I have a question. I would rather wait until I got the repaired radio back before I re-install that big piece because it's a lot of work to put it back in only to take it back out for the repaired radio. Can I drive my car without the center unit being re installed until I get the radio back? If so, do I need to remove fuses for radio and a/c?
HiTechElectronic They're not. The two trim pieces to other side of the radio are attached with screws at the base. That's also not how you remove the radio piece - you take the top portion out first by pushing the side of the opening, then pulling the top toward you. If you try to pry it out as shown in the video, it'll crack. I just pulled my radio a few minutes ago.
@HiTechElextronic Inside my cd changer 5 slots are raised and there is a gap between the bottom slot and the 5th slot. I couldn't get them to go down without worrying about damaging the changer. The player isn't making noise. It will ask me which cd I want l to load and shut off after a few seconds. Sometimes it will beep 3 times after I press load and nothing else. Will I need to send it in?
How do you clean the cd changer so it will play cd I have only slot one works but every once and a whole the others work but not all the time... So is there any way to clean it out
after I did this today I cannot seem to fix my AC nor any kind of buttons on my stereo and it would turn on the AC automaticly just because I was trying to put some vinyl on the stereo so I had to remove it and I don't know how to fix this can someone please help any suggestions will work
My cds won't play or eject anymore. It keeps saying "cd [number] eject" when I press eject. I can hear the sound of the eject motor but the cd won't come out. Then it just says "push eject" after all that.
Disconnect the battery in your car and wait 5 min. the cd changer might reset itself. If it did not get reset then you need to have it removed and get it repaired at your local electronic service service center or ship it to us for repair.

Great video! - questions.... (a) do you reverse the order to re-install (b) is putting it back together as "easy" as taking it apart?
Thank you guys so much for all the help.

You could buy those from your local Ifiniti dealer.
Will this work on a 2006 g35x? Dash and stereo look exactly like mines.
05 and 06 are the same.
Yeah that's what I was thinking too, thank you!

Is the connector for the Ac unit the same as the one that comes off with the factory radio?
it would have been nice if you started with how to loosen the side panels/
Thank you
Thanks for sharing
My CD player does not read CD in my 2005 G35, roughly how much would you think repairing this would cost? Thank you!
Please check our website for prices. www.hitechserv.com/
You need to press a clip on each connector to remove them.
Use the dash board removal tool to pop them out.

Can removing the metal trim piece from the dash be skipped? Or is it necessary?
Nice video, very informing, thank you, bro.

some clips have fallen behind in the back, is there any way that you know of to order more clips? Thanks
Are u guys still located there ?
Yes, we are.
@empressneessa We have another instruction video on TH-cam under G35 2003 with manual transmission, it is very similar.
I need to disconnect Satellite radio from tuner. Have an idea where this would be located on a 2005 infiniti g35 sedan? Thanks

What size screwdriver!
do you guyshave the after market unit for a double din
No, we mainly do repair.
How can I open up the stereo? I got some precious cds 💿 that I want to remove because they’re stuck inside
We only do repair.
What is the toll called?
It is possible but I would not recommend. You need to add a complete wiring.

@tgoodm1 Yes, you could drive without it and there is no need to remove the fuse.
А вот акб отключать надо или не надо?
Great
