It’s so annoying, the slick under tone, the hate etc. For how smart they sound they can be really restarted sometimes. Embiid conditioning got better that doesn’t mean he still isn’t hurt. They are athletes and just being In shape alone can cover up a lot of things. But when your already hurt and you start to wear down cause of fatigue that’s when the injury problem comes to bite u in the a**, and they don’t give embiid enough credit for trying to help a dog shi team *excluding maxey n oubre* knowing he’s gonna be in pain down the stretch. Nick nurse tried to kill embiid yesterday playing him the whole second half because he’s in panic mode when embiid gets rest because Philly turns into the Detroit pistons without him. And yes OG did a good job, but embiid was seeing multiple bodies it’s not just single coverage I hate when they become so dull when it comes to embiid. Last night down the stretch gave me doc rivers dejavu where they just post embiid and everyone is just watching him.

How are we shocked? No PG all season, no defensive bigs, not too mention they never should have traded for Beal in the first place. Lack of depth and defense and a huge lack of team identity. As far as Anthony Edwards goes, he's going to take over the league soon. And yes, Chill, I agree with you. Just because of this one series doesn't make him the best SG in the league. But in another year or two, it's going to be hard to argue that he's not one of the best. Of all the young players in the NBA that I like, I have Ant number one.
Agree to disagree on that rebounding is a skill I think it’s just effort and the stamina
There’s def some skill to rebounding but i think it’s hard to teach. Things like anticipating where the ball is coming, timing your jumps perfectly if your a shorter player trying to rebound against trees, having the awareness, read and react those are skills to rebounding. But then there’s things like positioning, toughness, energy, physical advantage which are super important as well. I think there’s a balance.
Watch Jokic be one of the best rebounded in the league almost exclusively off position and timing. You see how often Jokic engages early, gets arms to restrict player movement, push with hips as the ball comes down to reduce the reach of the contesting player, keep tipping with the fingers until he can securely catch it, etc.

@@sammysmartwizch3184 timing is a skill though. How many times you see bigs miss time a jump, and Jokic just tips the ball over them, or bigs mistime a box out and box out the wrong defender. Those are skills into rebounding. But ultimately the bigger taller stronger you are the more rebounds you’re gonna get just off physicality alone.
Suns should run it back but get a point guard and Beal be there 6 man and get a center
