What a ride this was. When we thought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would just give us Inklings, we thought wrong! Now we have 96 tracks, a custom items option, and everyone’s favorite characters are here! Especially the mayor of New Donk City herself, PAULINE! Yo, Choc! What are your thoughts on the Booster Course Pass? What was your favorite track?
We finally made it where an SNES track is a god tier course. I don’t think people would mind SNES tracks in the next mainline Mario Kart game if Nintendo put as much effort into remaking them as they did with Bowser Castle 3. In all honesty, there were some tracks I wished they would returned such as Wario Colosseum and Dry Dry Ruins, but if the reason they didn’t bring them over is so they would be part of the base game in the next mainline Mario Kart, I would accept that reason.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will continue to live on. I mean, people still play Mario Kart Wii religiously. It would be neat for the next Mario Kart to give you the option to play Double Dash style. Nintendo really raised the bar for both Mario Kart and Smash Bros. Those are going to be tough acts to follow!
It is absolutely hilarious to me that every person I have played Daisy Circuit with has done the exact same thing as Tom 😭 I don’t know is the tunnel hard to see in this game?? 😂
This game is so good but I can’t believe they didn’t add many DS courses like Luigi’s Mansion, DK Summit, Airship Fortress and DS Bowser’s Castle and Rainbow Road

I think Nintendo can go 2 ways with the next Mario Kart. Either Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Pass gets ported AGAIN to the next console. Keeping everything it has right now, and adding DLC on top of that. Or, Mario Kart 9 will have a revolutionary gameplay mechanic. I do not think the next game will just be another title. Nintendo needs a reason for people to pick the next game over the 90+ tracks in MK8D+BCP.
Most likely Diddy Kong Racing not able to be on Switch Online service because of Banjo and Conker being owned by Microsoft as well as most of RARE's individual assets owned by Microsoft since 2002.
All they need to do now is cross over characters and tracks from crash team racing and diddy kong racing with all the vehicles, power ups, boost and drift gimmicks
Hey choc I am a big fan of these kind of games maybe you could play some other spin off racing games like crash team racing and maybe that weird Mortal Kombat kart racer
It's not necessarily the last dlc for mk8 deluxe in long run, theirs still sevral characters and tracks not on it, and over 50% are disappointed we didn't get Dixie kong and gave us crappy peachette instead
Mario Wonder got nominated for if I remember correctly 5 awards including Game of the Year. Pikmin 4 got nominated for best family game and best strategy game. I feel like it might lose family game to Mario Wonder but strategy game is definitely a good chance. Not to mention the love that Nintendo has been showing Pikmin recently by putting all 4 games (Hey Pikmin doesn’t and never will count) on the Switch.
Disney speedstorm’s gameplay is so much better man. And it’s Multiplatform and crossplay and cross progression And trust me I love Mario kart. Been playing since Super Nintendo or nes whichever one it was and I had super circuit on gba .
When it comes to game of the year discussion, it's not gonna happen but I desperately want mario wonder to win, because maybe, JUST maybe AAA companies will finally realize the potential of stylized environments and character designs and not just "horse testicle shading 4"
Agreed, the only people who I ever hear actually talk about how important GTA is are people who are small children who just think that violence and hookers are 'grown up'.
