Thank you so much! I have watched numerous videos on how to do hair in colored pencil and none helped me like yours did. The hair I just did came out AMAZING! Like so amazing that I can't believed it was me who did it! :)

It was extremely helpful that you showed the color swatches …even though I am using the same brand of pencils I don’t have all that match the names given to them…also appreciated the tip about the browns over the black and the ink erasure…Thank you so much…
Your amazing in colour pencils. What if your using pelikan colours . what do you mix to make blonde and you are using 12 colours only???
Just love your tutuorials, Kirsty. Amazing hair! I'm quite new to colouring and this is a technique that I really want to master. Thank you for sharing ❤️️
This is a fantastic tutorial, thank you for taking the time to film it 😊
This was my exact hair colour ;-; KEWL BEANS XDD
Thank you! I was not sure how to color my mom's red hair and this helped immensely!
Great tutorial! Good work really needs time. You have spent some time building up all those layers, and it worth it. The hair looks so nice and realistic.
Thank you i am glad you like it :D

Thank you for this video .... I am working on my Very First Color drawing , and I am stuck with the Red hair and really fair skin of my Niece .... This helped a lot with the tones needed to get the hair color right .... Thank you for posting these videos , they help out a lot when I am stuck and cant figure out what steps to take to get the color I need ..............
Thank you I have a hard time drawing hair this video helps a lot
This helped greatly, thank you!
It became wonderful. Did you use blender pencil?
is possible to do one tutorial for hair horses?you do the best tutorial.you are the best1!
This is very good😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍✍✍✍✍✍👍👍👍👍
I wish there was a bit more explanation on your use of the "ink eraser". What is this and how specifically did you use it? Is it... a pigment lightening ink, or some sort of sharpened, detail eraser?
do you ever use the Prismacolor color pencil called Colorless (PC 1077)? my art teacher says we should use it to blend our colors together and i have been using it to blend my colors together
fantastic job, really helpful, thank you :) is there a specific reason you chose to blend with a white pencil and not with a blender medium like zest-it? wouldnt it be faster?
I use zest it a lot in other work but when i was doing this i felt that the white pencil would be better as i thought solvent would of softened it out too much and for the tutorial i think people might find it easier to use the pencil rather than solvent because it is quite tricky to get the hang of solvent :)
+Kirsty Partridge yeah i bought zest it because of your recomandation :) i would love to see more how to use ot properly and where it can be tricky :) like things you personally learned while working with it :) i really appreciate your videos
I used solvent doing this too, and I found out that besides softening the effect it can also be helpful to create new highlighted strands cause it lifts the color depending on how you use the brush :)
My hair color is the one before you went back over it with cream Orange and black ( my hair is naturally ombre)
Very good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
❤️
Thank you
FINALLY
Beautiful work, thanks for the tip, on red hair, very helpful for my drawing, of amgt participant Chase Goehring
nicely done!
Thank you :)
what colors would you chose if you wanted to do a scarlet or bright red hair?
I can't tell you what it would be in that brand but in Prismacolors for scarlet (or rather dark red) hair, I use Crimson and a bit of Scarlet Lake for highlights and Tuscan Red and Pomegranate for shadows with maybe a touch of Black Raspberry. Maybe you can check those colors and compare with what you have. I haven't tried bright red hair yet. Hope that helps.
@@RWRB64 thank you! I was about to draw black widow and was wondering the same thing! Thanks for the tip!
Hello! When you refer to "oranges," what colors are you referring to?
Excellent tutorial! :-)
What do you do if you're drawing straight hair light Sissy spacek in the movie Carrie
that is what my hair looks like! curly and ginger!
what color can i use for substitute the cream color? Sorry for my english...
Thank you so much for your videos, Kirsty. Thanks to your tutorials I'm far more confident in my colored pencil work. Subscribed!
This is all well and good but all I've got is crayola colored pencils and printer paper. None the less it's still a good video and it helped me find the basic colors I should be using
Thanks.. Great video

😂 Soo I’ve been harshly pressing down on the paper.... this has been a great tutorial
I have the 150 Prismacolor set. No Burnt Sienna. Only Sienna Brown 😢
very nice
Thanks :D
Very nice...also your english
how long did this took to draw?
You mean, "how long did this TAKE to draw."
like si hablas español
OMG!!!! I love your videos so much I just want you to be my sister
That ONE hateful dislike though ../: just give me a reason !
So early!!!♡
Go red heads!!
RED hair.
When all you have is Crayola pencils T-T
same
Dont be negative you can do it even with crayola!! Goodluck
As a ginger I'm mildly offended. This is BROWN. U see a woman with this hair color, she's a brunette not a red head
you really should say red hair as ginger has a negative connotation. “Ginger” has been used in a derogatory way for very long
