Hello, Sharing mistakes with our Pharoah. During covid lockdowns we have not had to crate in over a year. Now when we need to he his so upset - it is worse than starting over since he is so much older; 3yrs 11 months. He is super besides that - one of the easiest dogs I have ever potty trained. He rings a bell to go out and is a great addition to our pack - we enjoy the videos from you! Cheers from USA
@@abitnajs9479 yes, we installed a "shopkeepers" bell / just a little bell on a curved metal support - low enough for our pharoah to hit with his nose near our backdoor - located just about his regular head height. We then would ring it whenever going outside - he actually figured it out in less than 15 minutes. When ever he needs to go to the bathroom he rings the bell. His favourite time is 2am 😃
pharoah hound or Kelb tal Fenek as they are known on the island of Malta are our national dog. I have 2 of them , both of them are rescues. My eldest dog Anouke is very obedient and patient my youngest dog kaya is a whirling dervish and does not stop playing. we have an issue with her biting if you try to pet her whilst she is laying down. i dont know if any others have had this issue.
My husband just mentioned this breed to me and i am in love with it. I want one one day. Mine will be raised with cats but i had 2 super well trained min pins but watching your videos are helpful cause i crated mine when young but felt guilty 💜
Lol nice video because I love Pharaoh Hounds, but I cannot help but notice her charming accent. I totally can tell that English isn’t her mother language. I was not I were!
If dog parks are a mistake - how should we socialise our dogs with other dogs? What is the best age to socialise pharaoh hound with other dogs and cats? I have 2 cats.
