what he rode on the road was a gas powered BICYCLE which is a bicycle or other bike that has been modified to have from what i can tell a 50CC motor which you are not required to have a license for except for in california because California...

This happened in Sweden. His punishment was ridiculously low. I live in Norway, the country right next to the guy in the video, I was caught in the same speed limit going 6 kmh or 3 mph slower than him. I got my license suspended for 22 months and 21 days in jail. I'd be a happy man if I got his "punishment".

I think Denmark is by far the strictest country. If you drive twice as much over the speed limit, your car/bike will get confiscated, you will go to jail for a week and have your license taken away completely. That's not even considering the fines and other expenses, you have to pay for on top of that....
That's insane. In Canada, it's a huge fine but only a suspension for a week.
In Australia we can lose our car or bike permanently. If you get caught once it's a fine and they take your vehicle for a few days. If you get caught again it's jail and they take your vehicle for 6 months. If you get caught again they take it to a wrecking yard and crush the vehicle. You don't get any financial compensation at all no matter how much you've spent on it

@@testuploads9172 That's sounds better than the law in Denmark. They take away your vehicle the first time, which they then sell on auction. The law got passed in April of 2021 and it doesn't matter whether you've loaned your friends car, or drive a car company car, they will still confiscate it and the owner of the car will receive no compensation whatsoever...
In the UK anything over 100mph is immediate court date, with possibility of them impounding the vehicle.
Twice the speed limit, vehicle is taken there and then.
Punishment is 6 points (up to maximum 12 before licence taken away)
Fine is 'according to salary/wage' so if you are a higher earner, the fine is absolutely massive.
The Canadian speeding laws are brutal too can’t remember exactly what mine was but it was close to $400 for 144kmph in a 100kmph

In Norway you go to jail for 130 in a 100 and thousands dollar fines.
In sweden they would suspend your license on the spot for probably 4-6 months and you will get a $400 fine

Neither of us know the details of his history so we can only speculate but I highly doubt the officer "ruined his whole life" without some kind of evidence to make the previous charges stick.

Bikers get together all the time just from randomly coming across them in traffic and will ride together, complete strangers. This is why it's extremely important to have some kind of recording device that you can use during ANY involvement with the police. That officer threatening to worsen the charges for the guy that stopped is no different than an officer planting evidence.

The worst thing is that people run and then get caught and get arrested for a lot of things like evading, while the cop was just gonna give you a warning to stay 5 miles per hour over at the max. It’s not worth it.
Not only do they get arrested but depending on the severity of the situation they may lose their license and their bkes too. Just be a man, stop get your citation or ticket because that's definitely better than not being able to ride again.

that is a pretty good lesson not just for riding but in general never blindly trust someone eventually they will turn against you or throw you under the proverbial bus to get themselves out of trouble those are the people you cut contact with and avoid them if you are lucky they will do it to someone else first and you will witness it before it happens to you then you can make your plan the kind i have run into a few times are the snitches and either i expose them or i cut contact with them and since alot of my communication is online based i block them in whatever fashion i can and ignore them my best advice don’t play the snitch eventually karma will catch you and you will get stitches and don’t think you won’t cause then you definitely will and it will be totally deserved

The guy at 4:00 mark learned about license plate readers that they have on police cars these days. The car captures your license plate number and they know your name, address, phone number and known aliases in a few seconds.
