Tip for anyone who gets annoyed doing Bohr diagrams: look at the element your doing a Bohr diagram on, do you see the numbers going up vertically on the left side of the periodic table (there should be a 1 next to hydrogen, a 2 next to lithium, a 3 next to sodium etc) now look at the number that's across from your element (for example cobalt is in the 4th row), the row number represents how many valence shells should be on your Bohr diagram! (Sorry I'm not good at explaining I'm a grade 11 student not a teacher lmao), I'm sure most teachers teach this but I know this tip helps me a lot (even currently) in chemistry!

nkoli y’all asking why his atomic mass is on top ???? Why don’t u just try again and listen to him one more time ... he clearly states that this a Scientific notation form of it.
We all know that in our periodic tables we have it reversed atomic # is up and mass # is always at the bottom of a Symbols But in Scientific notation we reverse them .

For the first shell, why didn't you spread them out? ex. one on top and one on bottom.

mark munar I have seen some textbooks spread out the electrons on the first shell. However, I put them together to show that they are a pair and the shell is complete.
