Tomer: *plays equipment decks every week* *never gets off the ground* Richard: *plays an equipment deck once* *goes off with arguably the best start in commander clash history*
Just a small side note. Siren Stormtamer does indeed counter Settle the Wreckage but actually doesn’t counter aetherize because aetherize does not target creatures or players. It just bounces all attacking creatures
Dead Man's Chest has the clause: enchant creature you don't control. It fell off as soon as it didn't enchant a creature you don't control anymore. That's the main reason it didn't trigger.
This was a sweet one, everyone had cool decks that felt similarly powered, everyone got to show what their decks could do; Crim did awesome Ooze stuff, Richard showcased the power of Ardenn, pirates are great...
This episode was so fun and light-hearted! I feel the fun has been missed from the crew at times this season. Thanks for the awesome content, y'all rock.
2:10:36 Once Seth Yoinked his ooze, the aura fell off since one of his opponents didn't control the creature anymore... This has happened to me on Arena and it checks out...
The situation Richard gets in where he has a million treasures and nothing to spend them on with Rogragh & Ardenn is specifically why I run Treasure Map // Treasure Cove in that partner deck. That along with Tome of Legends helps a ton.
I’m SO HAPPY to see Richard playing this deck. I’ve been playing a very similar deck and it has been demolishing tables if it’s left unchecked. Even at competitive tables.
Actually the Dead Man's Chest fell off when Seth took control because it's "Enchant creature an opponent controls". Since it was no longer a valid target for the aura it fell off (although I think it still wouldn't have triggered because of the exile).
2:11:40 the ravenous slime didn't stop the dead man's chest. That fell off when you took control of the creature, since it says "enchant creature an opponent controls".
This is pretty great, I am super happy to see commander clash! Also I been wanting to build ooze tribal for a while do you have a link to crim's deck list
The bug seems to be because the engine checks if the attacker has a creature that is not being blocked, fails to check if that creature is also attacking.
Siren Stormtamer actually *doesn't* counter Aetherize, because Aetherize doesn't target. It simply returns all attacking creatures to their owner's hands.
just so everyone is aware the black planeswalker ultimate is massively bugged. if an opponent loses or concedes and you activate the ultimate you get the commanders of the player that left the game. WORSE YET if the commanders form the player, that left the game, leave play the game will hang because the player that left the game is not there TO RE-ZONE THEM.
So it's been bothering me but on that last turn wouldn't crin have survived even if he got hit? Taken 12 from 6 +2 power equipment then took 2 from sword? For 14 and he was at 16? Or was I missing something on a card or misreading his life? But I loved the video btw guys!!!
I think ravenous slime didn’t grow after the slime token was removed because once the token is exiled it no longer exists. So it can’t gain counters equal to the creatures power, because the creature no longer exists. Weird, but I think that MTGO was correct here.
Ravenous slime has a replacement effect, so it should calculate based on the creature's power before the event that would kill it happens. But if it were a trigger, it would still work according to the rules using last known information. But clearly it's buggy on MTGO because it also didn't prevent all the death triggers.
@@brandondrake4609 It's very much not the editor, the artwork for the vast majority of thumbnails on MTGGoldfish is done by Adriano Kitani. You can find him at @amkitani on Twitter.
1:15:44 Richard’s joking, but I’ve made like 5 deliciously janky decklists around casting Rograkh an arbitrary number of times. Aristocrats, Storm, Pod-what can’t this crazy kobold do?
As a person who started playing this year and built an ooze commander deck because of the prime slime secret lair, Crim's big ooze play filled me with joy.
Someone should make a Kediss deck partnered with a Black commander... and make the only wincon getting phage, and swinging phage to kill everyone at the same time
so couldn't Crim have used Rite of Replication on Emberwilde Captain for 5 copies making tomer unable to attack him without hitting himself in the face for ~50 damage? I feel like they could have atleast survived a few more turns to find an answer to his board but i'm guessing they just wanted to move on to game 2.
I'm not a fan of Crim always going for sedond from the very beginning. Also why didn't Seth just tutor something to deal with the Voidslime for how many turns?
Annnddd...once again Seth barely even played his Commander(s). Honestly thats getting kind of old. Playing Commander and ignoring your Commander is one of my biggest pet peeves in Commander.
Richard: Anime Protagonist
Tomer: Villain
Crim: Rival Who Gets Killed First
Seth: Comic Relief Who Just Draws Cards
No seth is the cute animal companion who just happens to randomly help
Tomer: *plays equipment decks every week* *never gets off the ground*
Richard: *plays an equipment deck once* *goes off with arguably the best start in commander clash history*
That seth goad was too funny. I was talking to my screen the whole time: "I don't think you want to do this seth."

I like the original title "TH-cam won't let us list them all"
Seth: Kill me, you won't
Tomer: *Kills Seth*
Seth: *Surprised Pikachu Face*
Just a small side note. Siren Stormtamer does indeed counter Settle the Wreckage but actually doesn’t counter aetherize because aetherize does not target creatures or players. It just bounces all attacking creatures
What would be fun is if you did a week where you generated random partner pairs!
Dead Man's Chest has the clause: enchant creature you don't control. It fell off as soon as it didn't enchant a creature you don't control anymore. That's the main reason it didn't trigger.
This is the best "You can't kill me" banter ever lol...
Richard brings such personality and humor to the show. Loved the feud between him and Seth early match.
This was a sweet one, everyone had cool decks that felt similarly powered, everyone got to show what their decks could do; Crim did awesome Ooze stuff, Richard showcased the power of Ardenn, pirates are great...
This episode is Richard’s anime villain origin.
Tomer. Trying out all possible partner combinations would take 15,7 years with 4 players (and 50 episodes per year). Not 2-3 years.
Could you real quick explain the math?
I don't think he meant "all combinations", I think he meant "all partners at least once", which would take like 6 months.
This episode was so fun and light-hearted! I feel the fun has been missed from the crew at times this season. Thanks for the awesome content, y'all rock.
Richard: plays coveted jewel
Seth and Tomer: *MINE! MINE !MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!*
Crim: "I like jelly..."
Coveted Jewel has been bugged since it was released >.>
Saffron Olive branch has to become a commander clash moment, it's amazing
That and maybe a pubt compilation, this video is gold.
2:10:36 Once Seth Yoinked his ooze, the aura fell off since one of his opponents didn't control the creature anymore... This has happened to me on Arena and it checks out...
Just an fyi, time stamps can grant flying to a creature after the hammer is equipped, the key being it doesn't say "and cant gain x"
I was worried Seth might make this mistake if he ends up playing Hammer Time legacy edition because the deck tech he showed had ink moth in it.
I came here to say this but knew in my heart it had already been said.
Richard doing hammer time better in 5 minutes than seth in 3 videos dedicated to hammer time.
1:56:40 like a professor of mine would state: 'reading the card explains the card'.
Coveted Jewel needs to become a CC staple. this games best moments were once the jewel was in play!
This was a very fun episode to watch on Christmas Eve.
The situation Richard gets in where he has a million treasures and nothing to spend them on with Rogragh & Ardenn is specifically why I run Treasure Map // Treasure Cove in that partner deck. That along with Tome of Legends helps a ton.

Crim's Ooze Deck: "Somebody blows their nose, and you want to keep it?"
if there were ever an episode that required face cams this was it, the fail was epic
Seth turned into Gollum in this episode "the coveted jewel, we need it!"
Is it just me, or does that Kobold tribal have a lot of equipment?
Actually the Dead Man's Chest fell off when Seth took control because it's "Enchant creature an opponent controls". Since it was no longer a valid target for the aura it fell off (although I think it still wouldn't have triggered because of the exile).
Why did crim not use domineering will at 1:12:45?
this is by far one of the must fun games of this season, oh my god.....
That was the most chaotic jewel in the world, and not in the way Garfield intended
the thumbnail looks like Sakashima is alone but it's understandable considering it's hard to depict a slime face for a portrait
The art on the deck tech screens looks way better than usual for some reason.
2:11:40 the ravenous slime didn't stop the dead man's chest. That fell off when you took control of the creature, since it says "enchant creature an opponent controls".
I loved the oozes--well done, Crim!
This is pretty great, I am super happy to see commander clash! Also I been wanting to build ooze tribal for a while do you have a link to crim's deck list
They post their deck lists every week in the article in the description.
Here it is: www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/commander-clash-s9-e23-partner-commanders
Yes! Partners! This is great!!
This was so much fun! thx.

Tomer does the unthinkable and finally wins in Pandemic times. The losing streak is over.
CRIM, STOP PAYING LIFE WITH THE TALISMAN
Please. This is an intervention.

1:00:00 Goku got the heart virus and it now up to the new Super Saiyan, Vegeta, to defeat the...pirates and the...ooze.
Ah, nothing like a good-old rivalry over card draw. Coveted Jewel was the real star of this episode.

Seth: Planeswalkers!
Richard: Anime protagonist theme!
Crim: Clones and....goop?

Crim Mr. "I don't have countermagic in hand" 1:25:30
Crim's Simic deck: 34 lands without any piece of ramp. "Amazing" deckbuiliding skills over there....
No richard. Ardyn is the mentor who gives him the power/weapons to level up.
Seth's pride before the fall lol
very cool deck, Crim! I don't think the simic hate was justified.
At 2:10:20, thieving amalgam shouldn't have triggered either. +1 Fail.
1:04:35 that was a really good pun, ngl
What's the point of scrying Crim... when you're gonna scry away ramp and lands you need??
Crim sounded like he was playing in a underwater cave or a closet something wrong with his mic? Or something
weird how rhystic study single-handedly wins another game.
I don't know why but my favourite point of views are Richard closely followed by Seth
Today on Richard Punts 101 XD
What happened to Crim's Microphone?
oh man it would have made for bad TV but seth could have took Rograkh played jeska and killed Richard when he tutored. lol
Surprise the anime was actually the time i was turned into a slime
As a person who started playing this year and built an ooze commander deck because of the prime slime secret lair, Crim's big ooze play filled me with joy.
Tempted to do arlinn and akiri, partner
Someone should make a Kediss deck partnered with a Black commander... and make the only wincon getting phage, and swinging phage to kill everyone at the same time
That wouldn’t kill everyone though. Phage auto-kills only when she deals COMBAT damage.
Wish they would've done an uncommons, commons only for this week :/
One of the funniest games.
Everyday i think you guys dont read your cards ahahh
"Saffronolive branch" lol
Seth should have just played Jeska and activate the 0 on Rograkh to just one shot someone for the memes

I hope Seth gets to do amareth soon
Original title! 😂

I think its time for Seth and Tomer to time so time off. Cus I think the card draw is affecting the table.
