I'm wondering if anyone knows the answer to this, but when the ref is struggling to keep up with Ronnie...what happens if Ronnie actually cues the ball just before the ref spots the previous colour? Would it be a foul shot?

Yes, it would be. On multiple occasions, Ronnie has done this after the frame has been won, just to prove his point that the ref is being slow.

@@owenbrad I find this the only unappealing aspect of his game. He wants to show the ref is being slow, but he also insists on being the first to move around the table, so the ref has to wait before he can even get the ball out of the pocket. Recently the ref also has to stand out of the player's eyeline, so has further to go before and after the shot, so I'm not sure what Ronnie expects them to do.

Although to be honest, if I was picking out Ronnie’s balls, I’d fucking gallop round that table 😂

I don't get it.. they timed it at 3:34, leaving Tony Drago's 3:33 century in 1966 (vs. Higgins) the fastest century ever made.
However - If you measure it starting at 0:00 and pausing as soon as the final yellow ball drops in the pocket reaching exactly 100 points you'll get 3:31.
