The other 2 gassed out. It wasn't that she was particularly fast. The Jamaican's legs must have gone lactic. She slowed so much as she got to the end. If you have ever run a 400m you will know how debilitating lactic overload is on your legs.

@@R.W.P. I honestly don’t think so. You could see in her face that she was all scared and tense waiting for BOL to pass her. It caused her to tense up while she was running instead of staying calm and relaxed like BOL. Some times it’s the mind that’s defeated and not the body.

I thought Jamaica was slow near the end. She had this race and didn't turn up the heat.
IMO the Jamaican runner was using up too much energy w/her running style. Whereas The Netherlands runner was smooth as butter.
