Do you prefer this one or the light ash brown more?! This turned out so beautiful! I’m wanting to lighten my hair again, soon, and think I’ll follow these same steps you did in your video because my hair is about the same color as yours was before!
I definitely prefer the light ash brown more because it helps neutralize the brassy tones. It's always my go to when I'm lightening because I don't want to be blonde , it gives a really nice "bronde" result. I hope this helps!! ♥️
@@manymanicures9101I did end up doing this with the light ash brown. I love how light it turned out, but I didn’t end up liking how it ended up giving my hair a sort of greenish tinge, even after washing it a couple times, so I ended up putting a light reddish brown toner over it to bring back some of the warmth and I love it so much more! I think I’ll do my root touch up with this light brown next time instead of the light ash! 😊
Omgosh I bought the ultra light blonde by Garnie nutrise to use for highlights but never used it yet was so hesitant about the outcome, thanks for sharing that one ! revlon makes one too so I bought that one and haven’t used it yet either Lolol I started going light brown with revlon plain light brown for a change after being blonde for so long, I miss having it done in a salon but the upkeep is so expensive….but I can go much longer now since I’ve gone light brown my natural color is more like a 3/4 anyway but then the grey took over 😂 So If I do go with some highlights I’d leave the ultra blonde in probably a little longer then you did but yours turned out nice even before you used the brown over it !! Thanks 😊
How many boxes did you need for the brown hair dye?
I only used 1 but I have very thin hair. I would imagine most with long hair will need 2 boxes. I hope this helps !

Yes, it definitely sounds like you prefer a little warmth and the light brown is a neutral color so it will work perfectly for your root touch up!
