What I love most about this motorsport is that first to the finish line doesn’t dictate the winner.
I really like this course though, that 1st wide turn is just so awesome seeing them hold tight to the wall for that whole thing.

He's highest placed rookie on the standings so far, even higher than some veterans.. Noone is expecting LZ to win nor is anyone saying he's the best. But people have been following LZ for a long time and his journey. He still has a lot to learn but people are just proud of him for being where he is now, and how far he's come in the short amount of time.
Aasbo's humility instantly made him one of my favorites, and his skill is insane, keeps you on your toes

If you think about it, it’s crazy this is a professional sport. Obviously there is required talent but at the end of the day it’s who can do the best burnout with speed based off the judge’s discretion.
Kyle P At the end of the day, NASCAR is about how fast you can do a left turn, UFC is about how well you can beat someone up, baseball is about what you can do with a piece of yarn, wrapped in leather
Its not a burnout idiot its a drift using inertia amongst other properties this takes alot of skill and can possibly kill you so rethink or delete this comment

Yo FD I don't know if you're going to see this, but the audio needs attention. Constantly cuts out randomly on each channel. Cheers.
I think they don't record the audio directly and this is just a replay of the stream. Logistically it is easier to just record and re-upload the stream as it is already mixed and synced. This would also explain the random drops in quality from 1080p to much worse resolution. This is my best guess though, I don't work for them so I don't actually know. Maybe their equipment is whack or they have bad wires somewhere. Who knows.

It was really a good match up for last 4, tough to judge the weather, great show with the different forces that were against the driver's. The driver's did well with compensating with the angle and speed. Love the Yellow Toyota Supra, watched the build on TH-cam. 🤘😎

@@HoweDoYouDo1999 I know that, but thats exactly what pro 2 is for. If his only issue was chasing pro drivers id agree but his leads are just as sloppy.
If that’s the case some of these other pro 1 drivers should be in pro 2. What some of these Fd so called fans don’t understand is your favorite drivers didn’t start off doing really well but you would know that if you really watched Fd like 15-17 years ago. Also LZ is a potential rookie of the year tied with Alec. Thanks though

Chelsea vs daijiro should've gotten a rerun, or gone to Chelsea. Dai had plenty of room to correct if Chelsea had to decel for any reason. He could've felt that the car may have had too much angle for what he was trying to do, so pulled the hand brake for a second to correct it, and at the moment he did that, dai had space and time to correct it, but instead decided to stay in it and cause a wreck. It is hard to say because of how fast everything happens, but when drifting, sometimes you have to make minor corrections to help prevent a bigger mistake that could've have happened, and the chase driver should know that and be ready for any split second thing that could happen. I think it should've have been a rerun, if not, it should have gone to Chelsea. Especially considering Chelsea is doing astronomically better than Dai for this season so far, I'm leaning on that Dai fucked up.
Now looking at Vaughn's lead run, he "decelled" as well on that first transition, EXACTLY like what Chelsea did, but there was no wreck, and no points taken. Same with Odi's run. They did the same thing, and Vaughn was door to door with Odi and still didn't wreck. The judges misjudged the situation with Chelsea and Dai.
Also Chelsea slowed down because he was increasing his angle into the second turn. Dai should have followed the angle and/or backed off.
Went to Chelsea's page. He posted that event. Pretty much all the comments are saying the same thing, that Dai fucked up, and that Chelsea did the exact same thing at the same spot that damn near everyone else did.

so the call lift is technically when the driver applies the foot brake to slide back to get back on the line or something different?
From what i know about drag racing, it seemed they used the term lift in the same way. Just meaning they let off the throttle. A couple of the lifts here, you can see the tire smoke thin out for a sec when they over throttled and almost spun out. But they let off in an area that wasnt designated as a lift zone or decel zone. Reducing throttle (especially on hogh quality,very warm & sticky tires) improves grip and if about to spin out will nearly guarantee you don't if you lift early enough.
