    How is cleanup when you're done? Do you rinse everything as you go or do you just leave everything and wash it later?
    Does it leave a big mess?

    With heat transfer, do you wait for the lye to cool down to a certain temperature to avoid burning any butters? Thank you!

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No you pour it right when the lye is dissolved. It doesn’t burn the butters. :)

    Do you get less Lye fumes with the heat transfer method?

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it’s the same because you’re mixing the lye and water the same way.

    • @missbeaussie
      @missbeaussie 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was wondering if you would get more..my understanding was that people do lye in cold water to reduce fumes
