  • I was originally going to use this fragrance for the ocean themed soap. But I wasn’t feeling it 🤔😂
    This fragrance is a tropical outdoor blend with fruity notes of orange, pineapple, peach and strawberry combined with floral nuances of hibiscus, jasmine and lavender.
    Available June 5th at 9am.

    Gee-ni-ess! The temperatures of the oils always drives me crazy. I've never seen/heard of this method! Can't wait to try it out! Beautiful soap! I found you through a mention on Royalty Soaps. :)

    I love that each soap bar has a different pattern. Do you warm up your soft oils when you add your sodium lactate, or can you add it at room temperature? I did the heat transfer method once, but I didn't add it because I wasn't sure and my soap came out sticky and soft, don't like not using it and I left it in the mold 3 days.

      I add the sodium lactate to my liquid oils at room temperature. I do not heat them up.

    I love your soaps and can't wait until I'm able to buy some, I'm curious though is it possible to make transparent or semi transparent soaps with this method?

    • @kaleaka76
      @kaleaka76 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Semi transparent soaps would be cool.

    • @EisTigerchen
      @EisTigerchen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      with the CP soap method it is not possible. there are ways to make transparent soap yourself, but you need a whole lot of other ingredients as stearin acid for example and it is a quite complicated and advanced technique.

    How many bars of soap does this mold make ?

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how thick you cut your bars. If you cut your bars at 1” thick. It will yield 70 bars.

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes once. It was really cold in my soap room I ended up putting the mix in a stainless steel pot and warming it just a bit. It was enough the finish melting the hard oils :)
