Gorgeous soap~
I love that each soap bar has a different pattern. Do you warm up your soft oils when you add your sodium lactate, or can you add it at room temperature? I did the heat transfer method once, but I didn't add it because I wasn't sure and my soap came out sticky and soft, don't like not using it and I left it in the mold 3 days.
I add the sodium lactate to my liquid oils at room temperature. I do not heat them up.
@@OpheliasSoapery Thank you so much for your help, I appreciate it so much ❤.
Guay👌
This is absolutely beautiful. How do you smooth the edges once you cut the bars?
I use a beveler/planer :)
🥰🥰
I love your soaps and can't wait until I'm able to buy some, I'm curious though is it possible to make transparent or semi transparent soaps with this method?
Semi transparent soaps would be cool.
with the CP soap method it is not possible. there are ways to make transparent soap yourself, but you need a whole lot of other ingredients as stearin acid for example and it is a quite complicated and advanced technique.
That’s an interesting question... I’ve never seen clear soap that wasn’t melt and pour.
👌🏾
just bought some of this (:
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Can I ask do you know what type of wood is mold make of as it does not seem to have on linked web page thanks
I’m not sure. The website is www.workshopheritage.com
Amazing as always
We want to see the the face behind all this beauty 😅
Thank you for you videos . Enjoy them. Whst is the name of the fragrance sounds amazing ! Do you do all your flowers or use molds! They are beautiful.
It’s called Hawaiian Sea Mist. I hand pipe all my flowers :)
66th. 🤗🙃🙃🙃🤗🤗🙃🥳💃🦸🧚🦹🦹🍾🥂🍸🍹🥃🍻🍺🇬🇩
How many bars of soap does this mold make ?
Depends on how thick you cut your bars. If you cut your bars at 1” thick. It will yield 70 bars.
What size are you using and how many pounds? 😊
Have you ever had the lye not be hot enough to heat all our hard oils?
Yes once. It was really cold in my soap room I ended up putting the mix in a stainless steel pot and warming it just a bit. It was enough the finish melting the hard oils :)
@@OpheliasSoapery Ok! Thanks! Ill have to give it a try!
how long does the melting process take with the heat transfer method?
It all melts in about 5 minutes :)
Ophelia’s Soapery oh that’s fast! i can’t wait to start making my own soap! i love watching your videos
Beautiful!
