Propaganda is not Seonghwa or any of the Ateez members. It is Maddox, a solo artist with KQ and he produces with Edenary for Ateez. Maddox was raised in England. He toured in Europe along with Ateez this past spring.

Lyric videos are often wrong-especially when there isn’t a performance.
I really enjoyed the whole album. Cyberpunk was my favorite at first but I think New World has really grown on me.
I wish Propaganda was a whole song but it’s only an intro.
I’m going to be honest (Wooyoung is my bias so I speak from here) I don’t care about line distribution. A song is not a pizza to be divided equally. You have the vocalist sing the lines where their voice works best. I just want a good song. If I want pizza I will buy a pizza.
My Wooyoung beef this comeback is he doesn’t have a lot of screen time. But I figure that will change with future songs and video.

The one that did the adlib on cyberpunk with “I wanna feel alive”, I believe that is San. San has an awesome vocals .

I sincerely love these guys so much and this is actually my favorite album that they've ever done - and that's saying so! I've had it on repeat since it dropped. I feel so euphoric and relaxed while listening to it - almost as if the songs are taking me on an adventure into another world. It's so cool!
I hope you guys enjoy the new album and if you can, I hope you are able to see them live when they go on tour this fall! I've heard they are phenomenal live and I don't plan this miss them on this tour!

Ateez' songs never 100% caught my attention but the way they approached this album and title track completely sucked me in, I love this album, especially when I go to the gym.

Sector 1 does have choreo! and live performance! and i mean your prediction for the choreo isn't actually far off ahahah i think I like sector 1's choreo more than guerrilla personally, the musicality in it is truly stunning
also in cyberpunk the adlibs you'll find in alot of songs are USUALLY done by San, if jongho is you know doing hios thing in the chorus, but i think you guys know jongho's voice haha
Jongho's voice is the easiest to pick up on (outside of the rappers). It's very distinct! We'll definitely react to Sector 1. I'm sure that the choreo and live version go hard!
@@NewChapterReactions I find the sector 1 choreo more beautiful then intense, they just play with lines and formations so incredibly well.
Also I'm sure you'll want to know this but we found out recently that Sienna Lalau, who has choreographed BTS's ON worked with ATEEZ's choreographers BBtrippin to bring us the masterpiece that is Guerrilla's Choreo, little fun fact :D

I, too, never thought I would be so hooked into a group like I am with Ateez. I love music and have listened to a lot of genres and artists over my life. Their music does have tap into the sounds of many of my favorite groups over the years(I’m GenX). MCR, Panic! At The Disco, Muse, Queen, The Weeknd, Prince, Korn, Daft Punk… so many. BUT it is all fresh and well-rounded. Every new album becomes my favorite.
This album is a masterpiece. I love every songs in it, but "The Ring" really got me and became one of my most favorite ATEEZ songs since day one that i listened to it 😆👍
I'm glad that you decided to do an album listen, but you know what that means, right? You need to do an album listen to all of the other Ateez albums XD Honestly, I'm excited for you to hear more of their softer or brighter concept songs. I think most people know that Ateez have strong concepts but don't know that they have some really great softer songs with meaningful lyrics. Also, Jongho has been doing some solo projects and he was recently on "Lee Mujin Service". If you get a chance to watch that, please do it. You'll get to hear Jongho doing some other vocals other than just belting octaves. He also has a duet with Lee Mujin who has a unique vocal tone too. Worth the listen, highly recommend. EDIT: Regarding "The Ring"...it's definitely story line and I think that it has to do with the Cromer. The Cromer allows the person who has it to travel through time/ dimensions. The bad guys want it too. Whoever has the Cromer has the power. Ateez also has a song called Precious, so....
We plan on it! We're excited to hear all sides of them as well 😭! We've gotten a request before for Jongho's solo projects! We will add it to our list of things we need to react to!! The Ring.. Precious... the dots are connecting... 😂 Honestly though it will be fun to see how they incorporate these themes into their own storyline.

a little bit about 'The ring' (which i liked the most in this album). Actually we can also interpetate 'ring' as some kind of a 'clink' or 'noise'. It gets along well with the storyline cause we know that the goverment in hala-universe use headphones to brainwash and controll people, and those headphones do a noise, some kind of a 'ring' (you can see that in one of their Kingdom perfomances for example). So I think we can say THAT is "the ring" who 'rules them all'. So, it's not just about "Lord of the Rings")

The lyrics revolve around Halateez living in this world where emotions and arts are prohibited so everyone lives like robots with no feelings, this place is called Strictland. And the lyrics talk about that experience and what they go through as they wake up and start the revolution.

The lyrics to this album have become so real to me lately and I find myself listening to it nearly everyday. (Esp the ring and new world)
Hong joong said in an interview that he had drawn inspiration from movies like hunger games, Lord of the rings etc.. while he was co-writing the songs.
Btw did you guys know Ateez is Going to release an OST for an upcoming anime? It'll come out on November 4th😆
That inspiration definitely comes through in the music 🙌🏻 We did get told about the anime ost on Twitter!! It sounded so good, Tori and I were saying it makes us want to get back into anime again 🤣

So don't you dare apologise for going back and pausing to really understand lyrics and re-listen to parts of Ateez' songs. Take as much time as you need.
I really liked your reaction as it showed your interest. And I agree with your feeling of Cyberpunk ("driving in a city" etc.). When you listen to Take me Home you will be surprised how well it fits together. Even the beat and part of the lyrics are similar.
As others have mentioned, Ateez really like to have a concept throughout their discography and I think the members get a kick out of spoiling certain things without us knowing. Sector 1 was spoiled in the ending of Answer two years ago, that's how much they plan in advance. Also, some parts of the songs were spoiled in interviews or lives. And Guerrilla was spoiled last year during their kingdom performance to Rhythm ta (an Ikon cover). They are crazy! But I love them for it 🤣
The Ring had me laughing due to your reactions at the end. I kind of expected to hear some reference to LOTR as there were others before (their tour was called "The Fellowship: Beginning of the End" and you should definitely listen to Precious (Overture) to get my amusement!).
The whole album seems so coherent and like an actual story. They give an Intro with Propaganda, start the revolution by finding out more knowledge (Sector 1), tell us how they feel with the situation (Cyberpunk), the climax is the revolution itself during Guerrilla (Edit: I totally forgot one of my faves with The Ring! Fits in as a recruitment and fighting phase anyways 🤪) and every good story has the main characters struggling (WDIG) before reaching an hopeful end (New World).
Ateez often has these Intros and Outros and they are very melodic and powerful to me.
Also, I should mention that Hongjoong and Mingi often do their back-and-forth rapping during the bridges of songs (Answer, Turbulence etc., in some rare cases even with Seonghwa e.g. Be My Lover feat. Kim Jung Kook). I find it extremely appealing as it gives a lot of texture.
And finally (after this huuuuge comment) I just want to ask you to keep going. I know you're probably extremely overwhelmed by all the videos you've watched, responses and suggestions you have gotten. Take a moment to breath 😉 And go at your own pace.
I know Atiny will probably hope that you react to everything at once as we love every baby Atiny who learns about the group, but take time when needed. ❤

I'm trying not to spoil anything, but its great that you are picking up on some of the themes in the lyrics, as you may notice this carries on in earlier albums. You'll also, as you move along the discography and come back to this album, notice overlaps as they will put bits of songs in others to help you find the sequence. The next song in your order I believe is Answer, which is the end of the Treasure series, and the lead into the World Series.......as the Fever series is a prequel to the Treasure series. Taking that order into account, you will start joining dots. Hope this nonsense makes some sense after you listen haha

i know most comments say this, but propaganda is done by maddox. Soloist under KQ entertainment. He actually does all the "reading/speaking" for ateez intros/outros (if it includes speaking in english) once you can tell his voice, you can tell its definitely maddox.
and they do have choreo for Sector 1. Lots of live stages that they performed along with guerrilla on some music shows. they're all good, so whenever you want to watch them, any of them are good.
in cyberpunk, the last line of jongho, the one doing the ad libs in the back is san. the genius site seems to have the members placed correctly to what theyre singing.
i have heard a lot of people say that guerrilla reminds them of mcr, so theres that. honestly, all their stages are good, they go hard in each and every one of them. but i will leave this one because i love ateez in black outfits. their stylists are great!
