@humbleasamumble your probably right i just happened to get more out of maps. I think it's his most accessible and its replayable album he's released. (This decade) i also did a lot of traveling last year and I think you can make an argument for the concept being close to if not as strong on maps.
Melodic Blue is genuinely a top 10 album for me. Every track is like crack, even if the rapping isn’t perfect, and it has so much replay value for me. It's just so much fun, I never get tired of it.
I think MMATBS is and will possible remain the greatest album of this decade. However I think the deciding factor of where people place this album is based entirely on personal experience. Kendrick doesn’t only rap about growing up with family trauma and childhood experiences, but also raps about personal experience and trauma and overcoming that. Something many of us can understand on a closer level.
