This film was so good but so hard to watch! The child actor has done so much since this film, she’s so talented. And Chris Evans was perfect of course. It’s ok to cry Seb, I definitely did!
"It's ok to cry"- you got that right. Since it's historically been extremely difficult for anything to make me cry, you can probably imagine my frustration when I discovered I actually ENJOY crying to movies (apparently because it can release those feel-good brain endorphins). I discovered that when a particular scene in "Inside Out" snuck up on me very suddenly (it was the line "do you remember how she used to stick her tongue out when she was coloring?"). My roommates were watching with me, and I REALLY didn't want to cry in front of them, so I actually managed to suppress it. BUT suppressing that was SO painful that it felt like I'd broken part of my brain! If I could go back and choose again, I would NOT have chosen to hold it in, lol! Apparently endorphins still got released though, because I've been craving tearjerkers ever since! But again, they're frustratingly rare for me to find... scenes from "Interstellar", "My Girl," and a lot of "The Land Before Time" were successful in getting actual tears out of me, but very little else. It's even rarer for me to shed tears while watching a reaction (reactions to "My Girl" and "The Land Before Time" did it, but that's about it). So, when I watch reactors cry, I mainly feel envious, as strange as that may sound! On that note, you can probably imagine that Sebscreen's "Avengers Endgame" 2-part reaction is my ultimate favorite (out of his own reactions, AND out of all my other 11 reactors I follow, too).
Yes! They are so cute together, they are always talking through Twitter or Instagram! They were great together in Snowpiercer! That is one Seb has to watch!
This movie was cast perfectly! Chris Evans, Octavia Spencer & McKenna Grace. That trio was just absolutely incredible in this, and I adore this film with all my heart. Makes me sob like a baby every damn time. Also, fun fact - Chris Evans actually adopted his dog whilst filming this! He met Dodger (his dog) when they were filming at the animal shelter for the scene where he's running through to find Fred and fell in love instantly. He adopted him there and then! How freakin' cute! 🥺 Loved your reaction to this. I wish these three were in a film together again.
I love McKenna so much like you've no idea! She's such a good talented young, very smart and intelligent woman! I saw her for the first time in the Vampire Diaries and couldn't stop follow her career after that! What a great movie, I remember how much I cried when I saw it for the first time!
Wait she was in Vampire Diaires?! Why do I not remember this! I've seen her in I,Tonya and this and...she was mini Carol in Marvel right? And she's in the new Ghostbusters but i haven't seen that. She's so brilliant.
@@JeM130177 she was there just for couple episodes. She played young Caroline! btw she was playing young Emma Swan in Once upon a time and also pretty known for this role
I totaly would recomend watching „Before we go“. Chris doesn‘t only play one of the main characters, he also directed it and even though it isnt that famous, its a pretty good one
As someone who was put into the gifted program in 2nd grade, first grade was extremely hard, because I struggled to pay attention due to boredom. All of my friends were at a normal, perfect level for their age, meanwhile I was reading books meant for middle schoolers while I was 7. I was always bored and tired in class, and I am so glad my teachers realized that I was gifted, or else I would be lazy and wouldn’t have the passion for learning that I have today. :)
Fantastic reaction! 😊 I love this movie so much! I think that it's my absolute favorite, non-MCU, Chris Evans movie. Octavia Spencer and McKenna Grace are also fantastic in this movie. 14:26 - 15:23 , 17:17 - 18:06 , and 24:39 - 26:15 These are just a few of my favorite parts of this movie. Fun Fact: Chris Evans adopted his dog Dodger while filming this movie. And Chris actually got him from that animal shelter that was in towards the end. Another Chris Evans movie that I recommend is "Snowpiercer". I've never seen that one. I've heard about. And I know that Octavia Spencer is in that one with him as well. Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
@@EllieMoonHaven Not sure what exactly they were talking about, but she said "I need you! Frank needs you! You promised". At least, that was when she was actually at the window, before that she said "No!" a lot of times, and "Let go of me!" to the foster mom. Idk what they meant about one word changing the dynamics of their relationship, you literally can't hear or see her say anything other than these things, and the captions confirm this.
I don't remember crying the first time I watched this movie, but I surely cry watching your reaction! Not the first time that happens lol Another Chris movie I love is CELLULAR. Every time it's on tv I have to watch it, and it's a movie that made me love Chris as an actor! idk if it's amazing but I really love the storyline of it, hope you can react to it some day! The beautiful teacher and love interest in this was actually Chris gf irl for years. She was also in Venom. He has so many tattoos, in Marvel they would just put makeup over them and edit them out

YES! YES! YES!!!!!!!! When I saw Chris Evans' name in the title, I never clicked faster!!!...LOL. I've been waiting for another video from you where you react to one of Chris' movies, and you didn't disappoint, Seb. I'm surprised you picked Gifted first out of all the 'Chris movies' recommendations since it's such a tearjerker, as you well found out, but I'm glad you got to see a little more of Chris' dramatic acting skills to prove he's more than just a pretty face. I do admit that I did love your comments about his face though, your "he's such a Golden Retriever" and about how Chris' uses his puppydog eyes to full effect and the camera loves to zoom on his face because of it...LOL. And NEVER apologize for crying over a film, Seb. Did you know that Chris has admitted he's cried over so many films & that the one that gets him most is Legends Of The Fall? It takes a sweet, sensitive yet sexy, masculine man to cry over movies and not be ashamed to admit it. For any future Chris movies to watch, YOU MUST see Cellular first. I know you'll really enjoy that one. It's an edge of your seat thriller. And others I suggest are Playing It Cool, The Losers, Push, The Red Sea Diving Resort, Before We Go and his mini-series Defending Jacob. All good and Chris is gorgeous and amazing in all of them. Of course, then again, when isn't he? ;)
Just finished watching. I'm glad you liked it. I remember when they were making this film here, in and around Savannah (GA.). I'd have loved getting to be an Extra for it. The animal shelter Chris went to save Fred from, I had once been a volunteer at (in the cat room) for 3 yrs., long ago. The place is our Humane Society, which is actually only about 10 mins by car from my house. 😊
Now you absolutely have to watch "I am Sam". Loved how it was pointed out that "Frank" does not like cats when all Chris Evans fans knows how much he loves dogs (and I'm sure cats too).
