Today we had a party that we couldnt vlog at so I decided we'll make a fun video that everyones been asking for! So here is our little take on the difference between Pakistani urdu and Hyderabadi. Hope you guys like the video.

I can't believe I am from Tamilnadu we speak Urdu here....
But it is 98% we speak Hyderabadi Urdu
Even I am from Chennai,tamilnadu but lot of people speak in here it's just simple it doesn't matter where you are living if we know our ethnicity,culture and the history of our ancestors and more important if we are true desi then we'll speak urdu wherever we may go with family and friends. In Tamil nadu there are lot of people whose origin would be like daccani or deccan and some from Pakistan or Persian descendants so,naturally they'll speak urdu. Urdu is nice language and I am proud to speak in urdu.

This becomes a real challenge when you learn Urdu from scratch! All the resources are Pakistani Urdu, but I'm getting married to someone who speaks Hyderabadi Urdu. What I learn from my study books can differ quite a bit from what I hear from my husband and his family. It can be very frustrating at times. Urdu is not an easy language and these dialects don't make it easier :D

I am Indian and I realised we speak pakistani urdu roflmao
It originated in UP but today mostly spoken in PAK, this is more closer to Hindi. Deccani originated in Hyderabad it is more mix of North Urdu with marathi, telugu and Kannada
Basically there are 2 broad dialects of Urdu. One is Dakhani Urdu which has its sub-variants- Hyderabadi, Bangalori and Tamil Nadu Urdu. The other variant is the North Indian Urdu spoken in rest of India. The Urdu of Pakistan is almost same as North Indian urdu as there are many migrants from North India in Pakistan esp. In urban Sindh. However even in Pakistan, those whose mother tongue is not Urdu, when they speak Urdu, they tend to sprinkle their native words in it, like Punjabis say " Phadda ho gaya" - phadda in Punjabi means jhagda/problem..

I am from MP here urban people use words same as pakistani Urdu and rural people use words just same as Hyderabadi Urdu. So i can understand both the dialects easily.

I am from Hyderabad and I like Pakistani Urdu because they use many pure Urdu words. Hyderabadi society is a mixture of various cultures. They have influence of Punjabis, Marathis and Farsi. Nakko (No) is actually a Marathi word. Hao (yes) is derived from Punjabi word "Aaho". Similarly many words derived from Farsi, Arabic and even Hindi. Mauz (kela / banana) is actually an Arabic word. During the Asaf Jahi rulers when Urdu was developing, there are many Arabic, Iranian, Afghani people were there, later Marathis and Punjabies also joined the society. Thats why it has become a mix society. There is one egg curry to which Hyderabadi's called "Khagina" which is "Anda Burji" in Hindi and Pakistani Urdu. You know this "Khagina" is a Farsi & Afghani word. But one thing is there, Pakistani Urdu doesn't differentiate between "Kamar" and "Qamar", for these words they have pronounciation of "K" only. They doesn't have pronounciation of word "Q".👍

Not only is dakhni spoken in hyd,but also in places like Gulbarga which was once a part of hyd,so all the people from hyd-karnatak region also relate to all the things of "Hyderabadi",food,people,cultures are nothing but an extension of hyd n we feel more connected to hyd than Bangalore which is our state capital,so "mai bhi Aaron" aur "kya baigaan k Bataan kare"
