    Love it thanks! Just a bit of constructive feedback - it would be great if on videos like this you added in examples of shots one can expect from each lens - I think it would add so much value! Great job though and keep it up - I subbed.

    Just bought a Canon eos 90d and I seriously don't have it yet but its being delivered in a few days. So yeah on a budget for a little while and appreciated seeing this video. New sub to your channel, it was just very cool to show something that realistically people can afford and the pictures will still look great

      @@POVjustin Content recommendations: More best lenses videos (Example: Best budget lenses for landscape photography). How to or guide videos (Example: Portrait photography for beginners). Recommended equipment videos (Example: The top tem tripods I recommend). Tour videos or live shoots (A weekend in New York) and then the video be cuts of you shooting in different styles and takes throughout the weekend. Hiking photography. Useful video my man! Im going to do some portrait photography in a studio in a months time. Do some lens excel in studio conditions - or is that not a thing? Maybe they all do? I guess my question is what would be a good studio lens for portrait photography.

    • @POVjustin
      @POVjustin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would still stick with something along the lines of a 35mm or a 50mm if you are doing headshots, if you are doing a multitude of things I know some pros use a 24-70 in studio. My biggest piece of advice would be have some really good lighting. When you are outdoors, it’s easier to use natural light and make use of shade, different times of day, etc. And a lot of the time you can change that lighting in post. However, in studio, it is crucial to have good lighting because you cant rely on those natural factors. I know that strayed away from your original question, but overall most lenses (as long as it’s not telephoto) will be good in a studio, but it depends on what you are shooting. Versatility=24-70 headshots=50mm headshots/somewhat wide (depending on if you are using full frame and how big the studio space is)=35mm. Hopefully that helped!

    Lovin the video man, what about the 22mm f2 for indoor photography?

    • @POVjustin
      @POVjustin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a good lens and lets in some good light, however I just don’t think it would give you enough reach. I think the 50mm would be a bit better but if you can get very close to your subject, you might be able to use the 22mm but most likely not. Hope that helped!

    I’m planning on getting the canon t8i dslr butttt idk if the kit lens is good for portrait photography.. what’s your thoughts ?

    • @POVjustin
      @POVjustin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are a beginner, the kit lens is a good all around lens to have in your bag. It is what most people start out on. It can work for portraits when you are starting out and it’s a good way to learn, but if you want the nice super blurry background look that most people are going for, I would spend the extra $125 and get the canon 50mm 1.8 as well. It’s a very sharp lens aimed for portraits and I think it is overall just a great sharp lens. I hope that helped!
