  • Even in a loss, it's hard not to be in awe of this defense.

    Jokic had two assists not zero! I don’t know why my app said zero but I was definitely wrong on that lol.

      But they didn't come until the end of the game, so still a pretty valid point.

      @@discowolf25basically trying to force iso-ball on a pass-happy team. Jokic still deadly either way he goes.

      2 assists for Jokic is almost nothing. And it shows the way to (have a chance to) beat the nuggets in the playoffs. Thanks for your so accurate breakdown (as always).

    Their starting "center/big" was Kyle Anderson... and Garza got minutes too. And only lost by 3 points! Can't be too mad at this loss, but we need to get healthy come playoff time!

      Being small right now, could be a blessing in disguise. We are getting a chance to mix up lineups now because we have no other options. Hopefully we have Rudy & Naz available for Round 1. Then give Garza a full time contract or else he can't be used in the Playoffs.

    ya, thats insanely impressive how much better we have been on a defensive string, or flash to coverage. Its been so bad in years past, that seeing this night in and night out is so nice

    I think with even one of KAT, Gobert, and Naz being in this game we would win. Unfortunately lost some tough rebounds, additionally a lot of pressure placed on ANT and having KAT or NAZ especially would lighten the load on him and hopefully open up the lid on the bucket in the 4th. Tough loss, it was on us but this game gave me the energy of being a potential WCF sneak peek.
    Also, I love Anthony Edwards 😭 I have been a TWolves fan for a little more than a decade now but this is the most invested I've been in the team since KLove and it's solely because of the level Edwards brings us to. He is a competitor at every level, on offense, on defense, physically and mentally. Ant is all in on Minnesota, so I'm all in on Ant.

      Or even if the shooting percentages weren't so skewed. Denver was shooting 64% from 3 at half time, and ended the game at 52%. Wolves shot 34%.

    The subject of this video is obviously defense but seeing Ant pass up a contested layup to kick it out to Jaden for the open trey in the last clip may have been the best moment on your reel. Ant hasn't seen Jaden open all season, so if that changes, we good.

    • @farming4g
      @farming4g 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Helps that Jaden knocked 2 clutch 3s down! He had a really good game finally on both ends.
      If Jaden can be more consistent on shot makes, I don't think either him or Towns can be blocked on a 3 pointer.; that clutch contested 3 was a thing of beauty, almost KG-like with the long wingspan and high release.

    It's like Tim Connelly purpose-built this Wolves team to give the defending champion Nuggies as much trouble as possible. Now the Pelicans on the other hand...
