I had a TH-cam channel a few years back. I used to share plant based recipes of food and natural beauty, family adventures and about being a mum with disabilities. Out of nowhere one day a person trolled me in the comments section, being personal about my appearance and even my voice. I was feeling poorly that day and vulnerable. I never made a video again. Years on I feel upset I let one online bully hurt me that way and stop me doing something I enjoyed. My advice would be simply pay attention to the people who you benefit with all you share and enjoy your channel. Don't give bullies your power and stand up for what you believe in. Last week a neighbor ruthlessly chopped down four trees and I was so sickened I had to spend a few hours in the basement, away from the horrific sounds. Christine, l feel your pain, I too am a empath and nature lover. Eleven years ago l had a landlord who was desperate to sell his farm we lived thick in the countryside and the farm was surrounded by beautiful tall trees. We had rented an adjacent barn, and move out once the farm was up for sale. To our horror our neighbours informed us, he cut down all surrounding trees around the farm to make it look more desirable for buyers. We couldn’t believe it and went back to see for ourselves. He had chop down at lease fifty trees or even more it was a massacre. I was physically sick for ages afterwards. Peoples cruelty knows no bounds. It is very brave of you to take a stand and speak out. It takes courage. I have noticed in the last few years that people do not allow each other to have different opinions and views. I am saddened that so many think there is only one view on things. Can we not respect each other and allow people to differ on things?
Unfortunately, they don't just stay as opinions. Eventually somebody has the power to make a decision, and impose their will on the other. Like in America, where we said "OK, you can have your opinion about abortion. Don't want one, don't have one." Now look where we are. Or, "OK, you can think Donald Trump is great leadership material" Then see what happened. And eventually somebody will put up the 5G mast, and everybody who opposed it and thought their health was at risk will either have to live with it, or move. I am afraid we are way past the time where "It's just an opinion" holds any water in the real world.

And if you be treated like you don't fit in all your life, it is even harder. In my opinion we don't win nothing, if we blame the victim. I can relate, when I put on community page about dog owners knowingly allowing their dogs to bark continuously for hours. I live in a suburb called Carey Park, which i started calling Carey Kennels it was so bad. Some of us like to have quiet whilst reading or maybe have a lie in on your day off. But that was impossible every single day, went on for a year. My mental health was starting o suffer. Bought house so can't just sell house and move. Batlled the council who are supposed to sort it. That was stressful, as was enduring the barking on the daily. To be trolled as well is so hard to take. Im fighting the probelm for the whole community who suffers and won't complain for many reasons, too scared, too hard. But like you, it's something you have to do, regardless of keyboard warriors.
That’s too bad about the barking ! Our town has a barking ordinance. But we have car shows and cruises weekly and more often -‘I live on the road they do that on. It’s fun for those people but we don’t have a noise ordinance for loud car engines and burning rubber and honks !

I'm so sorry that you've been bullied 😢 You're such a compassionate person and are probably an easy target for those who feel powerless, as some don't see those they've only met online as real people with feelings that can be hurt. I've heard that turning your wifi off at night and putting your phone on airplane mode can help a bit with EMFs but we definitely need more research into the health effects. Good luck with it all!

Dear Wendy ☺. I am 70 now and have in the past pioneered for Green Peace, Friends of the Earth, CND etc. Which in the end wore me out and made me ill. So now I do what I can in my own home and garden etc. Recycle, upcycle, vegetarian, conservation etc. NIMBY comes to mind in this vlog - not in my backyard?! YET you are surrounded as you speak by technology to run your business 😐. I don't have facebook, instagram or similar social media and now I am about to give up on TH-cam. Your vlogs, along with many others that I used to look at are no longer about art etc. They are just becoming a platform for politics and making money. I don't apologise for my rant, I am infact heart broken at the world in which we live. Espeically the lock down which changed us all in so so many ways, and not for the better. Immerse yourself in your art/heart and take care of yourself. Us older folk may not have many more summers ahead of us. PS - did you check the air miles on the blueberries? I agree Veronica, and actually appreciate your 'rant' as you call it. It's good to have open, respectful discussion. We can only do our best and our bit, for however long we can. And, I take my hat off to all your past pioneering. We can't change the whole world by ourselves but caring about our own backyards and coming back inwards towards our own self preservation and care is sometimes the healthiest thing for us to do. The 'NIMBY" (not in my backyard) thing; caring about one's own loved ones and nieghbourhood should NOT in my opinion be shamed nor looked down upon. It is a wonderfully, loving thing to care about our own communities, loved ones, animals, biodiversity and ourselves too. The 'not in my neighbourhood' completely swipes a brush of shame about caring for the very things we naturally, as caring, loving human beings care about. So this is an important point to note as I feel these convenient sayings don't consider the actual reality of intention behind things. They shut things down with a harsh swipe. I wonder if you reconsider the actual sentiment of my actions, you would see I care deeply for my wider community as well as my own loved ones and indeed myself too. Caring for bees for example, affects all of human kind's very survival. I carry no shame in admitting I care for my loved ones, neighbourhood nor even that I care for myself. My vlog confesses it's intrinsic link to all things self care. This message is something I am very proud to promote actually. My vlog always has some art content but I do openly confess in here that most of my art process is on my Patreon page (it's how I make my living and can afford time to make these TH-cam videos. My patrons support this channel.) You are right, these videos are more vlog than art process, (though very rarely political and I don't actually make me much money either!) When I vlog I am sharing what is going on in my life and that goes hand-in-hand with my creativity. As for use of internet, yes I love the internet and use it of course, I am fine with internet, this is not my argument. What I am objecting to is mobile internet through the use of these masts which have not been proven safe yet for humans nor biodiversity. This is a push for technology that is convenient yes but we don't actually need it. Want is not Need. And safety first please which we can achieve quite nicely thankyou with fibre internet for example. I would love to live in an art bubble but alas, life is particularly bumpy right now. As you say, I am also heartbroken by much of what I see and so feel the same as you. I will wash my blueberries next time for sure. (I usually do, (and eat them including the air miles because I am not perfect.) Sorry to not see you on here anymore if you leave completely, but I also completely understand your reasons. We all use devices so much, for every aspect of our lives. I mean, You Tube is entirely a digital platform, and folks like yourself make their living using it. That said, when people protest towers in their neighborhoods because of the danger they perceive, where do you propose the towers be placed? Everyone wants good service and faster and unlimited data, right? If we want all these services, why aren't we willing to also suffer the consequences of having these services? While I have no problem with being concerned about the health issues these towers may cause, I have a problem with not following the protest out of your neighborhood. If you don't want it for health reasons, isn't it easy to assume that others feel the same way? Unfortunately, when non-poor people say "not in my neighborhood", that means that poor people will suffer. Take notice of poorer neighborhoods regarding liquor stores, smoke shops, lottery sellers, cheap phone stores, pawn shops, unhealthy "food" stores, closed businesses, huge electrical powerstations, major highways dividing neighborhoods, etc.... All these places are there because someone said "not my neighborhood". So, I'm not bashing, I'm just suggesting that we all think beyond our own communities as well.
You have very thoughtful points. Prior neighborhood, a cell tower was proposed on a golf course as far away from our houses as possible. I liked that idea. It wasn’t in anyone’s backyard. Our cell coverage was garbage there. People still protested & it was indefinitely delayed. I understand that some bodies are more sensitive than others. Seems like off-grid would be best for such people. For the rest of us working from home & in need of business grade tech, give me a thoughtfully located cell tower. I’m in my late 50’s. I am going to die one day. Might as well put all the possible ways that’s going to happen on a roulette wheel & give it a spin. 😂 Yes, I do use dark humor to navigate this world. Are you aware that there are so many regulations about people living unencumbered by municipal systems?

You could use Quantum mechanics and Quantum Biology in your debate. Quantum tunneling explains the EMF's. A lot of these issues are similar to the Radium Girls. I had a TH-cam channel a few years back. I used to share plant based recipes of food and natural beauty, family adventures and about being a mum with disabilities. Out of nowhere one day a person trolled me in the comments section, being personal about my appearance and even my voice. I was feeling poorly that day and vulnerable. I never made a video again. Years on I feel upset I let one online bully hurt me that way and stop me doing something I enjoyed. My advice would be simply pay attention to the people who you benefit with all you share and enjoy your channel. Don't give bullies your power and stand up for what you believe in. Christine, l feel your pain, I too am a empath and nature lover. Eleven years ago l had a landlord who was desperate to sell his farm we lived thick in the countryside and the farm was surrounded by beautiful tall trees. We had rented an adjacent barn, and move out once the farm was up for sale. To our horror our neighbours informed us, he cut down all surrounding trees around the farm to make it look more desirable for buyers. We couldn’t believe it and went back to see for ourselves. He had chop down at lease fifty trees or even more it was a massacre. I was physically sick for ages afterwards. Peoples cruelty knows no bounds. I can relate, when I put on community page about dog owners knowingly allowing their dogs to bark continuously for hours. I live in a suburb called Carey Park, which i started calling Carey Kennels it was so bad. Some of us like to have quiet whilst reading or maybe have a lie in on your day off. But that was impossible every single day, went on for a year.
My mental health was starting o suffer. Bought house so can't just sell house and move. Batlled the council who are supposed to sort it. That was stressful, as was enduring the barking on the daily. To be trolled as well is so hard to take. Im fighting the probelm for the whole community who suffers and won't complain for many reasons, too scared, too hard.
But like you, it's something you have to do, regardless of keyboard warriors.
That’s too bad about the barking ! Our town has a barking ordinance. But we have car shows and cruises weekly and more often -‘I live on the road they do that on. It’s fun for those people but we don’t have a noise ordinance for loud car engines and burning rubber and honks !

I'm so sorry that you've been bullied 😢 You're such a compassionate person and are probably an easy target for those who feel powerless, as some don't see those they've only met online as real people with feelings that can be hurt. I've heard that turning your wifi off at night and putting your phone on airplane mode can help a bit with EMFs but we definitely need more research into the health effects. Good luck with it all!

Dear Wendy ☺. I am 70 now and have in the past pioneered for Green Peace, Friends of the Earth, CND etc. Which in the end wore me out and made me ill. So now I do what I can in my own home and garden etc. Recycle, upcycle, vegetarian, conservation etc. NIMBY comes to mind in this vlog - not in my backyard?! YET you are surrounded as you speak by technology to run your business 😐. I don't have facebook, instagram or similar social media and now I am about to give up on TH-cam. Your vlogs, along with many others that I used to look at are no longer about art etc. They are just becoming a platform for politics and making money. I don't apologise for my rant, I am infact heart broken at the world in which we live. Espeically the lock down which changed us all in so so many ways, and not for the better. Immerse yourself in your art/heart and take care of yourself. Us older folk may not have many more summers ahead of us. PS - did you check the air miles on the blueberries? I agree Veronica, and actually appreciate your 'rant' as you call it. It's good to have open, respectful discussion. We can only do our best and our bit, for however long we can. And, I take my hat off to all your past pioneering. We can't change the whole world by ourselves but caring about our own backyards and coming back inwards towards our own self preservation and care is sometimes the healthiest thing for us to do. The 'NIMBY" (not in my backyard) thing; caring about one's own loved ones and nieghbourhood should NOT in my opinion be shamed nor looked down upon. It is a wonderfully, loving thing to care about our own communities, loved ones, animals, biodiversity and ourselves too. The 'not in my neighbourhood' completely swipes a brush of shame about caring for the very things we naturally, as caring, loving human beings care about. So this is an important point to note as I feel these convenient sayings don't consider the actual reality of intention behind things. They shut things down with a harsh swipe. I wonder if you reconsider the actual sentiment of my actions, you would see I care deeply for my wider community as well as my own loved ones and indeed myself too. Caring for bees for example, affects all of human kind's very survival. I carry no shame in admitting I care for my loved ones, neighbourhood nor even that I care for myself. My vlog confesses it's intrinsic link to all things self care. This message is something I am very proud to promote actually. My vlog always has some art content but I do openly confess in here that most of my art process is on my Patreon page (it's how I make my living and can afford time to make these TH-cam videos. My patrons support this channel.) You are right, these videos are more vlog than art process, (though very rarely political and I don't actually make me much money either!) When I vlog I am sharing what is going on in my life and that goes hand-in-hand with my creativity. As for use of internet, yes I love the internet and use it of course, I am fine with internet, this is not my argument. What I am objecting to is mobile internet through the use of these masts which have not been proven safe yet for humans nor biodiversity. This is a push for technology that is convenient yes but we don't actually need it. Want is not Need. And safety first please which we can achieve quite nicely thankyou with fibre internet for example. I would love to live in an art bubble but alas, life is particularly bumpy right now. As you say, I am also heartbroken by much of what I see and so feel the same as you. I will wash my blueberries next time for sure. (I usually do, (and eat them including the air miles because I am not perfect.) Sorry to not see you on here anymore if you leave completely, but I also completely understand your reasons. Wonderful activist effort, dear friend! I love that you can use art to relate to the real world of fighting giants, dealing with electromagnetic sensitivity.
We all use devices so much, for every aspect of our lives. I mean, You Tube is entirely a digital platform, and folks like yourself make their living using it. That said, when people protest towers in their neighborhoods because of the danger they perceive, where do you propose the towers be placed? Everyone wants good service and faster and unlimited data, right? If we want all these services, why aren't we willing to also suffer the consequences of having these services? While I have no problem with being concerned about the health issues these towers may cause, I have a problem with not following the protest out of your neighborhood. If you don't want it for health reasons, isn't it easy to assume that others feel the same way? Unfortunately, when non-poor people say "not in my neighborhood", that means that poor people will suffer. Take notice of poorer neighborhoods regarding liquor stores, smoke shops, lottery sellers, cheap phone stores, pawn shops, unhealthy "food" stores, closed businesses, huge electrical powerstations, major highways dividing neighborhoods, etc.... All these places are there because someone said "not my neighborhood". So, I'm not bashing, I'm just suggesting that we all think beyond our own communities as well.

Prior neighborhood, a cell tower was proposed on a golf course as far away from our houses as possible. I liked that idea. It wasn’t in anyone’s backyard. Our cell coverage was garbage there. People still protested & it was indefinitely delayed.
I understand that some bodies are more sensitive than others. Seems like off-grid would be best for such people.
For the rest of us working from home & in need of business grade tech, give me a thoughtfully located cell tower.
I’m in my late 50’s. I am going to die one day. Might as well put all the possible ways that’s going to happen on a roulette wheel & give it a spin. 😂 Yes, I do use dark humor to navigate this world.
Those forever chemicals in our food & water concern me far more than a cell tower. Actually, I live in the US. Stupid people with guns concern me the most.

@@empresskali6783 look on a map, and then decide where a "thoughtfully located" cell tower should go. If it's in an unpopulated area, it won't perform as well as everyone demands for their usage. If it's in a populated area, who are you willing to subject to an unhealthful situation so that you aren't? Saying that people who have sensitive bodies should go off-grid? Seriously? Are you aware that there are so many regulations about people living unencumbered by municipal systems?

You could use Quantum mechanics and Quantum Biology in your debate. Quantum tunneling explains the EMF's. A lot of these issues are similar to the Radium Girls. I would highly recommend diving in those areas of research to backup your claims. If you need more info or recommendations feel free to reach out.
