Happy New Moon & Happy Chinese New Year!!! A perfect time for setting intentions, co~creating with the Universe (or whatever you like to call it) and life resets! Xxx
Happy Rabbit year to you and everyone. I find New Lunar year is better for reset, self reflection and set intentions. Vision board can help as reminder on direction to go. I'm thinking of making my oen vision board but means I have to clear pinboard.
I had no idea that you have Chinese ancestry, I have American Native ancestry, when I play my hair and have a plat down the front of each shoulder I do have the look, although I'm a blue eyed blonde, a bit like John Denver who had a similar heritage to me. I'm very careful not to be accused of cultural appropriation, American Natives don't like being copied especially at fancy dress LOL
I wrote that quote down. It puts into words what I've been trying to tell people for years, I enjoy my work, I enjoy my interests, I don't want to retire.
Wendy, you open your artistic heart and explain things I have no understanding of in such a way that I warm to them and gain by exploring these things that are very new to me. Thank you❤️
I so needed this right now. I have been in deep depression this winter, feeling horrible physically and tired. My sister and I have been going to a grief seminar and that is helping. We both have lost our husbands who needed great care before passing. While being their caregiver our life and world stopped revolving. We are at a standstill, not know how or where our lives should begin as single women. The vision board is a wonderful tool for us to begin to live again. Thank you once again Wendy for such insight and vision that we ourselves are not capable of seeing. Much love Deb. Montana USA
Dearest Debra...this will be a great aid in getting you and your sister out of your doldrums. Wishing you all love, inspiration and strength as you move forward into unfamiliar territory.💫🌈💞
I thought that was you in the white short romper. I did a vision board and it is my wallpaper on my I pad. You are a wonderful human being …..keep up the great work
About 25 years ago, after some life trauma, I started making vision boards and art journals. I am happy to say that now I am living in my dream studio house with a magical garden doing art and writing almost every day. I didn't make a (financial) living from my art, but my former job paid (enough) for my art and a life that I don't have to take a vacation from. If I hadn't imagined and articulated this dreamy life, I don't think I would have made it here. It was like a drawing the road that I traveled on (including world travel as well as inner travel). Thank you for your inspiration. It is so important for women to be able to define a dream beyond our daily challenges.❤
It amazes me when we look back from the little people we were to where we are today… how far we have journeyed… Your words are inspirational and testament to what we all can do when we are present in our thoughts and dreams… ❤
@janewalster5613 A year after Wendy @theunexpectedgypsy published this video and you wrote your comment, here I am watching it and reading it. Wendy’s explanations and thoughts really help to clarify thoughts for me. Getting them from something that is quite nebulous to something with a little more shape. That’s if huge benefit to me and something I’m really grateful for as I start to see some possibilities rather than none. Then I read your comment, your story of how you’ve gone from trauma to living in your dream studio house and it’s just what I need to hear. So thank you for telling us about it. Both of these things encourage me to also make vision boards and to actually do an art journal, something I’ve been “thinking about“ for a long time, but not acting upon. Ive been asking myself what’s the point? Now, after watching the video and then also reading your story, I can see that perhaps there is a reason and hope after all. So, thank you Wendy and Jane. With much gratitude, from Australia.
thankyou wendy- your videos seem to come at just the right time for me--- ive been thinking of creating a "hard-copy" mood board, as opposed to one on the computer, as an artist it is important to have those tangible touchable photos and images closeby in my home studio- thankyou for the extra encouragement to go further with it!
Back in 2011, I made an intuitive collage from images that I was drawn to without knowing (at least consciously) their import. I tell you this. Within a year the entire collage played out in my life. It was quite uncanny and amazing all at once. Then the images made sense. It was then I realized the power of vision boarding . Thank you, dear Wendy for this reminder! Time for another!
I'm so grateful you made this channel to shine your light, it has help me see just how bright mine can be when I put the effort in. Thank you so much Wendy for sharing all your vulnerable moments as well as your brilliant ones, your a fairy godmother to this community 💖
I love that your vision board is on your wall and taking generous space. It really highlights its' importance. I think creating it on a wall or book rather than digitally adds a more personal earnest process. As an example I get more out of journaling with a pen rather than on a pc. Anyway, thank you for sharing your process and I am glad you are feeling well enough to move around and make it to your studio. I hope you continue to move forward with your healing.
yes! it's massive isn't it!! I didn't plan it that way it just kind of decided itself!! xxx I know what you mean about having a tangible real life thing too! Thanks for the healing loves, much appreciated 1Xxxxx
I have a poorly body... I used to be an uber strong competitive dancer in Lindy Hop and Swing... but fatigue, brain fog, insomnia and tummy troubles slowly crept in and I haven't been able to dance in years, so I began painting and drawing again as much as I can, which isn't much but it's something. After years of fatigue I'm finding out that I am hypermobile and it is causing a lot of the back, hip, and neck problems, as well as the fatigue, insomnia and everything everything else. Just thought I'd share in case you are super bendy too, because for me any and all information I could find became very important and helpful to me. Building strength in the tiny muscles that support your spine and hips is very helpful for bendy people. My body problems have really taken the light out of me, as my life has been so limited, and I forgot how to shine. I'm noticing that there are things that fill your cup, and things that deplete it, and your videos and your message have reminded me of who I am deep underneath inside... an artistic, nature loving, fairly loving, light bringing soul. You definitely help me refill, and I appreciate the light you share. You have been such an inspiration to me, thank you.
Whenever I feel down and depressed I have learned to stop looking inward and begin looking outward. Focusing on others rather than myself gives me the ability to reevaluate life and all the woes. I have seen a complete shift in my psyche in a matter of minutes when I was suddenly faced with someone else’s tragic event and I became the one they relied on. When you are responsible for others it is hard to be down and depressed, not unless you’re a complete narcissist and cannot see anyone but your own problems. I don’t do vision boards, but I do collect inspiration. In my art class I have my students keep an art journal where they collect color stories, inspirational quotes, art made by others, images that speak to their hearts, and their own sketches based on what they collect. I find that concept to be much more pragmatic. As always, Wendy, you are a joy to watch.
Find out what you really want, not what you think you want...or even worse, what you think you SHOULD want. They are each different things. Thank you for posting this exactly when you did. Love you. 💜💛
I no longer have a life, it was similar to yours but I have developed an autoimmune disease for which there is no treatment or cure so I just want to leave everyday. But listening to you is so uplifting it helps, so thank you for a lonely ex-artist in Australia 💜💜
Dell, i understand how you feel. I too was hit with a rare and life changing disease. At first i was devastated and could not imagine a life going forward. I woke up in despair every morning because there was no way around the loss of my previous life. I was weak, and tired. One day i read something that did help me. It was written by a lady, a stranger, that also struggled in a similar way. She had lost her health. She said she found relief by looking for tiny small joys every day. Unrelentingly searching for small joys to soak up. She sought out anything that was joyful. She spoke of going outside and maybe only finding one tiny buttercup, but taking time to savour everything about it. The tiny yellow petals and delicate leaves barely peeping through the weeds. Or thoroughly enjoying that one perfect cup of coffee or tea. The ritual, the perfect ceramic mug that you just love, made properly. Maybe real cream if that is what your heart desires. Maybe a beautiful book of art, or poems to enjoy, in a cozy chair with a fuzzy soft blanket. Or just noticing the way the sun creeps across the floor, or highlights leaves on a plant, or a pet’s fur. Allow those small treats and moments into your day. Stop and savour them. Every day. Be greedy…search for more joys all the time. Smile at a young mom with her beautiful baby. She will likely smile back. More joy. I am not sure why her suggestion helped me so much. But i guess i had stopped noticing the many wonders, in despair, i had turned so inward. I wasn’t seeing or allowing any joy. I gradually learned to take time to allow happiness to move back into my life. I still face daily challenges of course. But i try to revert to seeking joy as quickly as possible after a tough go-around. Allow happiness into your heart again, if only in tiny increments. I know it is hard, but all those small joys can heal your soul. As i slowly learned to embrace the many small joys in my life, i was better able to cope with my illness and found ways to work around it better. It did get easier. I am not special, but i really did find my way out of the weeds. I am cheering for you!
Sending you big soft loves and a couple of ideas.... perhaps reach out to talk to someone... And, perhaps research and try drinking celery juice. I haven't spoken about it much on here but I have been drinking pure celery juice, every morning for a year now and it's really helped a load of my ailments and reynauds etc, it may not 'feel' right for you but I'm just putting it here in case... softest hugs, Wendy xxxx
Hi, I feel you, I felt ill with chronic illnesses 2 years ago, I was bedridden and thought... this is my end. With 30. But I managed to heal with the keto-carnivore diet! That and walks in the park saved my life.
Oh my goodness, Wendy! When I first saw you sitting on your little loveseat in front of that blank wall before you started describing your plan I thought, if that were my space I'd have to make that an inspiration wall. And then, she probably can't go nailing and pushpinning things all over there, but she could use washi or painter's tape... It was like a light being turned on for me because I have a wall that runs the length of my loft that is plaster over brick that I had no idea what to do with and I was suddenly like I COULD DO THAT! You literally hadn't said anything about using that wall yet. It was just a flash of inspiration in less than a second over something I've been puzzling over for two years now. I feel as though I pushed play on this video in a very receptive state and instantly aligned to your wavelength. Then as soon as you said you were going to use that wall for your vision board, tears came to my eyes. I'm sure I sound a wackadoo, but it was a momentary profound sense of connection to another creative spirit. 💗 Keep being you, beautiful human. 💗
Firstly, dear Wendy, sending you much love and healing energy to change up your hip problem for the better! 💫💚🕯This was a lovely video and for those who have never embarked on vision boards I highly recommend it as a regular practice! Images have always stirred and inspired me from a very young age, and at the tender age of 71 I've had many decades to collect these favorite images! I have a couple of fluid boards in my home, one in my art area and another at an eating nook in my small, wee home. Then I have one rather large fixed corkboard with family photos and quotes that make me feel good, cheer me up, and tear me up and bring about much gratitude. Sometimes we don't get what we were certain we would have in our lives, no matter how many vision boards we create.😔 At times of recognizing this, I run quickly back to gratefulness for what I do have.💙🙏 So always, always envision and create and do your very best to have the life that brings you Joy. And if it's not exactly what you envisioned, love it thoroughly and feel the gratitude, for it is yours, it is your life and should never be considered less than, just because it didn't turn out exactly the way you thought it would, or wanted it to. Many blessings to you dear Wendy and to anyone reading this message. 😘🌈🌺💞🙋♀️
I started this video and paused it thinking, "I have so much to do I will come back and watch it later". But something made me continue, I said to myself, I deserve this 25 minutes, so I continued and I watched. I was meant to watch this today, I needed this today. I began to cry when you said, I am worthy, I am deserving. How many of us forget that? I loved them poem and how read it to us, I was so moved. Thank you Wendy, for sharing and reminding us we can have a life we don't want to vacation from!! Thank you mostly for being you!!
I have only recently found your videos Wendy and I wanted to say how much you have inspired me. I am not an artist but I have been watching because I love the way you are as a person and the way you talk about your challenges. As I have watched through your other videos you have made me think differently about my life and what I might be capable of if I try. You are so inspiring to me and after years of self loathing I'm discovering a new me that I actually quite like. Thank you for giving me a life and a purpose xx
Hi, Wendy! I’ve been a bit away from commenting. I’ve been watching all your videos, but not commenting, because times are a bit hard at the moment and sometimes I feel tired of complaining and not having anything positive to say about my life. I didn’t know what a vision board was and you explained it so well. I feel really inspired to make one with my favourite things, such as my shells, that bring me so much joy, seascapes that make me feel so peaceful and positive quotes. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for keeping me company. Love 💙🧡❤️💜💚♥️💛💗🖤
OHHH Alexandra, I am sending you the softest of kisses and the warmest of hugs if you are going through a hard time. I know I am so far away but know that you are often in my thoughts. You sprinkle your love and warmth to so many in the universe and I often just don't know how to reply to your beautiful words. You express yourself so well. I hope that the hard times soften and you can find happiness and gentle moments very soon. Much love. Deborah xxxxxx
Did a vision board for this year ,first one in years . Brought me so much joy putting it together. Enjoy your channel so much . Take care of your hip .
I am one of your new subscribers, I have been with you for a long time, but due to my situation with travelling I have not been able to subscribe, until just this week. I have spent many hours with you and you have always been such a joy and usually a part of my day. Whether I am having my coffee with you in the morning, or later in the day. You have been such a Joy and Inspiration to me in my late life. Thank You so very much for sharing your valuable information with me so freely. I am grateful. I always find your videos very enlightning. I love the way in which you share your knowledge with others. I always feel like I have had a dear friend in for coffee and it is very intimate in the way you share. I love it! I am eighty One as of my last birthday, and I have traveled with my best friend to Ecuador. I am learning to speak Spanish and get to know their culture. It gets very lonely here sometimes, so I especially love your company and enjoy all that you share with your subscribers and those who watch you as I have. Keep doing what you are doing as you are, it's perfect. Sincerely Kassandra.
Hi my name is Kate and I have been doing art most of my life but always blocked by work or child and being a single mom. But! Now 62 getting a divorce and finally able to build my art room!! I am excited. I found your video
😘 Thank You for this uplifting session , for sharing more of your process and thoughts. And Yes love " create the life that you do not want to take a vacation from" beautiful.Be Well, Be Safe, Be Creative.
Hi Wendy thanks for sharing with us . At the moment going through big changes in my life and still grieving the loss of my mum . Have found that my creativity has lost it's flow and my concentration span is extremely limited atm. Just wanted to say I love your art work and find your videos such a comfort for all of us I'm sure . Your mood board also brought memories flooding back of when I was much younger and mum would give me and my sister her old catalogue and a box each and we would spend hour's making our dream homes , family's, clothes, cutting out the pictures and sticking them on room boards ❤ such memories are precious and makes me smile to think we had such fun creating our homes in a box . Cost nothing and kept us busy all day . Thanks Wendy much Love xxx
Wendy, life can be really awful at times, hard & at times unbearable. But, as one of your other followers said Take it one day at a time! Thank you for putting yourself out there & telling the world your most private & personal thoughts! Your voice & mannerisms are so calming, gentle & relaxing! Thank you Wendy & I'm sending you 100,000,000 hugs.
I love what you have done with the vision board, what a great idea! I also like what you said about taking things down that are no longer useful because as the year progresses your vision will change. so being stuck in the same will no longer help you! 😊
This is all I can face doing right now (creatively) is create moodboards and journal. Struggling with energy levels and not getting out enough because cold weather and lack of sunshine give me the SAD so I feel I have no ideas. So I am just doodling and doing cut and stick, collage!
I am in a change in my life at 64. Really don't understand it yet? I have been a viewer of you tube channel just for a bit, and just happened to see you and subscribed. Thank You So Very Much!!! A lot of (bits and bobs) stuff I kept over 50 yrs are still with me, as some of my earliest art work and never shared in my life. I think now is maybe time for this vision board. THANK YOU
This was just what I needed today. We moved here 10 months ago and just finished, well almost finished, transforming a large outbuilding into a studio space. I was wondering to myself just yesterday, as I cleaned the floor of my studio, "Where do I start now -it's been a year and a half since the beginning of this big move? " A Vision Board is just the idea I needed to boost me into this next phase of life! I love the quotes and poetry you include, your gentle but spritely spirit, and the love you send to all your viewers. Thank you so much for sharing this encouraging episode. Bless you dear Wendy! - from Indiana, USA
Wendy you are the best life Therapist, I love your rants and going "bonkers" ....I do it all the time by myself, it helps right.. Thanks for being real and your humor shines through it all and your Art is amazing ! Mary in NC.
Hello I’m A Wendy as well 💜 You are Fabulous! You popped up on my feed. I’m in the USA at 3 am feeling so much, I’m 55 alone . your video I have No friends , was my introduction of you , wow Thank You, I Loved paper dolls , fairies & plants 🧚🏻♂️ 🪴 🧚 hugs
Love the way you express your thoughts and feelings. We all need more positive energy. Your heart is so big and beautiful. Thank you for sharing so much. Ana from Florida.
Like the Organic, fluid board that changes through the year. This is how mine is going to work, I have a 90 x 120cms Felt framed pinboard that i have been using, and am now going to clear it and start again. I have a lovely wall over my desk in my bedroom that is just right for this, looking forward to finding my chosen flow and the things that really speak to me.
I have binge watched your videos today whilst getting on with my art. I haven't watched you and James for ages so it was a massive catch up. I always wondered why a woman with such a wonderful partner and daughter and as a gifted artist why would you be so unhappy, I was very sad to realise what I think is behind your unhappiness, the death of your brother, I can only imagine what you felt like. I think of a poem written by Nick Drake's sister, when everyone consoled her parents but nobody thought about her loosing a soul mate. We love each sibling and relationship differently, a brother shares secrets, stick up for you, but most of all an older brother knew you before you were born. Obviously you'll never forget him, and never stop loving him but as time creates a space in time of your parting things will get easier and you will be able to think and laugh about funny situation that you had. Thank God you had lovely James around. You are always a source of inspiration for me and I'm sure many others, so keep on with what you're doing to help with your healing.
This is such a great idea for every artist, and really every person! Sometimes our desires and goals can hide in the corners of our consciousness. Pulling them out and assembling them into a visual presentation seems like the perfect way to focus and define what we hope to achieve!
One of the things I learned from energy healer April Fontana bless my sweet friend who's on the other side of the veil now. She would teach people to do what's called an AFFORMATION. Rather than make a statement you ask the question why do I believe my body is strong. Why do I believe that I can allow my hips to heal. When you put it in the form of a question your ego self your or your subconscious doesn't know what to do with it because you put it in the form of a question so it believes you. Doing this reduces resistance it is actually way better than doing an affirmation because when you say an affirmation that you really don't believe it doesn't change the energy within you. But when you put it in the form of a question the resistance disappears gradually and then to the point where things change and shapeshift just like we're supposed to. Anytime she was having difficulty getting somebody's body to instantly heal she would have them say why do I believe that my hips are in alignment three or four times in a row and then the next thing you know the person would say wow. Check out some of her videos here on TH-cam she was amazing and healed many people instantly right on live TH-cam and Facebook
I haven’t done a vision board since the late 70’s. It was all makeup & beauty items. Little did I know that I would spend 6 years of my life working in retail cosmetics. I love all the quotes you use. I’m a firm believer in “As is above, so is below”. This is a wonderful video. I’ve been sending lots of healing vibes for your hip. Blessings always dear sweet Wendy ❤️
Hey Wendy and James! Thanks for sharing what works for you. Love your choice of graphics, words, quotes and poems! A former roommate of mine who was a professional artist with a studio in our home used to post vision pages on the refrigerator door. Namaste'. 💖💖💖
aw Wendy what wonderful vision board ideas..this will be my third -love the idea not to go linear choose images that invoke a feeling..emotion..not to need why those feelings are being invoked..inspiration - also love we share Polish heritage :) I am so grateful I have found your utube and your heartfelt shares...thank you , thank you
Oh Miss Wendy!!! You have inspired me so very much. I endure anxiety ptsd... you help me so very much with your loveliness and inspiring way. I am going back into my art room today and begin my board. Thank you so very much for helping all of us keep our lights shining bright even when my light feels a bit dim....♥️
Absolutely lovely and inspiring video. Your approach resonated so much more deeply than all the other approaches I have seen. I never vibes with vision boards, but this way of doing it is more joyful. Thank you Wendy for always inspiring and sharing your process❤️
Hi Wendy, Beautiful timing. I loved everything, all the encouragement in nurturing ourselves, giving ourselves permission and the courage to create what we feel or would like our highest manifestation of ourselves to be (privately in our knowingness I think we know when we are not resonating to whatever we want because we are not happy so that tells me we know inside something is out of whack or frequency or we wouldn't be having the feeling there is more of ourselves that yearns to be whole. So I know sitting down and playing with that alchemical process by going thru magazines or our imagination can be fun or give us hope and raise our spirit to remember who we wanted to be and reconnect to those feelings or create new ones that now would resonate. I think the most wonderful thing you basically said, is to tell youself to think of it as 'Being Here Now', already present, already existing in effect waiting for us. I think your grace to share with us something so private as the beginning of your vision board is a great testament in vulnerability and trusting that inner knowing, to be brave and take the first step from your heart and give it a go and listen and feel what one's soul and spirit wants to have the inner freedom to at least try even with one picture and see how that feels then another. And let that board look back at us and help us. It's easy to say but another to create. So having said all this I too must begin a vision board. I am grateful to you Wendy for being here today exactally when I needed this knowing you and others need to know we are not alone. That while we are making our boards out in you tube land others are too and we all want each other to also have joy and peace in our hearts.😇💖💐
I so love your videos. They inspire me. I watch them in the evenings, so I can't have my PG Tips or Barry's Gold Label: it will keep me up. So I sip my NZ herb tea. Happy cuppas to you!
I like this idea! I do enjoy your thoughts and encouraging ideas in this. Yes, it is never too late to have hope. I so love the quotes you share. I want to find my path and I want to do this. Thank you Wendy for this insight.
Lovely Wendy you are very welcome to stay with us if you would like to visit Australia. I love keeping my desired direction in front of me. Lovely video.
Your channel is sew inspiring. I am a quilter. Have been for over 6 decades. I have two 8x4 foot insulation boards covered in headliner (fabric used to cover the interior of the celing of a car )set in my sewing space. Since I work in fabric I love seeing my vision coming to life. It moves constantly in any given day. When I am scattered my board reflects that. It has many many patterns, fabrics swatches and the such strewn about. It is then that I take it all away and re focus on one or two projects. Wendy, I adore your insight. Keep shinning bright.
Miss Wendy... I've been watching your videos for awhile now but never commented. I just want you to know you are a true inspiration and beautiful soul💜 I am right there with all of you feeling this wintry gray depression. I absolutely love this idea of a vision board as I think the only thing that pulls me out of my funk is focusing on what I find beautiful and the things I'm grateful for. I have just retired and I'm looking for what to do with my life next. This seems like the perfect thing!! Thank you Miss Wendy love and blessings to you 💜💙💚💛🧡
Great idea to do this process “upside down”. Picking out what we’re attracted to and go from there. I really like it. Great way of getting to know self again.
A vision board can be very useful for those of us who lack the ability to visualize in our “minds eye”. 😢 I can’t. It’s sooooo very frustrating , but, apparently, not uncommon. Who knew?
Lynn here on Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, Awww I hope your hip is not giving you too much pain , I have Arthritis in my hips and knees , I'm in awful pain every day with it , so I really do know your pain ☹️❤️, I'm not one for people knowing my thoughts , but I'm trying to do a sewing book made from fabric with printed fabric photos and pictures , put my thoughts into my stitches if you know what I mean , that way I know what it means , but nobody else does , if that makes sense 🤔, Take Care Wendy , rest that hip xxxxxx
I have done vision boards before, and love your idea of finding and putting pictures up that spark joy, even though you may not know why. And then adding texts after and gratitudes. Thanks for sharing
So happy to see someone quoting E.H.! I had a huge obsession with their poetry for the longest time. It still strikes me as very beautiful and I love how reading it makes me feel. Lovely video!
I want to share with you Wendy, the quote you shared with us… ‘ shine when you can, cocoon when you need’, is now in my journal as a reminder to me and one that puts me a smile on my face and joy in my spirit an added light in my garden! I also share this with others and of the wonderful wise women who coined it!! Thanks Wendy!!! Blessings!!🌸❤️
I know exactly where I'm going to create my fluid vision! It'll be right in my face every day that I'm in the studio. Thank you. How have I never before considered putting the images directly onto the wall? It makes so much sense in my space! You've managed to inspire me to do something I've always poo-hooed. I guess now is the right time, that's all.
Hi Wendy I just love your channel, I have learned so much from you, you are very wise. I also love your art work, I’m also an artist who loves to paint and draw fairies, mermaids, unicorn and elf’s, everything magical. I love your version of a vision board. Have you heard of Soul Collage? The concept is similar to what you are doing but they are done on cards around the 5x7 size. If you want just check it out here on you tube. Thank you for all that you do.
Wall Journaling!!! I LOVE it!!! I have a large corkboard in my studio, for ideas and inspiration and such, and as so often happens with those, it's become a "polyglot" of messages and visions. So you have inspired me, (yet again) for it to become a "Movable Feast" Vision Board... to support one of my favorite movie lines: "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!" - Auntie Mame, 1958 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
You're always so inspiring and Today I really needed to hear today's message! I used to live my life similar to your Mantra and then slowly drifted away from my dream, caught up in daily chaos! Today I am going to take back my "happy" space in life. Namaste !
I am delighted to have found your corner of youtube. I've been enjoying your previous videos and started art journalling to draw out themes. My first drawing was a cobblestone path with plants poking up through the cracks like you speak of in this video. Synchronicity 😍

I'm very careful not to be accused of cultural appropriation, American Natives don't like being copied especially at fancy dress LOL
"A life I don't want to take a vacation from", very well said, Wendy! ❤
I wrote that quote down. It puts into words what I've been trying to tell people for years, I enjoy my work, I enjoy my interests, I don't want to retire.
As soon as I heard that it resonated with me
aww makes me happy thank you xxxx

Wendy, you open your artistic heart and explain things I have no understanding of in such a way that I warm to them and gain by exploring these things that are very new to me. Thank you❤️

Lots of love to you and your sister. One day at a time xxx
Dearest Debra...this will be a great aid in getting you and your sister out of your doldrums. Wishing you all love, inspiration and strength as you move forward into unfamiliar territory.💫🌈💞
Nothing to say, just offering support and hugs from Alaska
Sending love from Maine.❤❤❤
Very inspiring
Thank you so much Wendy for sharing all your vulnerable moments as well as your brilliant ones, your a fairy godmother to this community 💖
awww, thank you xxx very kind words xxxx keeping shining bright xxxx
I look at you and you could be me the way you think and paint Pauline
Dell, I hear you. Just take a small step today to start your vision board. Just one word or image. That's one baby step. Sue
"there's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in" from Leonard Cohen is my quote.... 🧡
Your videos are so beautiful and uplifting. You brighten my days! ☀️
aww, makes me happy thank you xxx
Thank you mostly for being you!!
bless you indeed Denise, xxxx soft hugs and yes, you are worthy!!! xxxxx
Thank you for giving me a life and a purpose xx
keep going dear one, you totes got this! so glad to hear it's helping you refind yourself! xxxxxx
What a beautiful comment, I agree, inspiration through life's many challenges.
Love 💙🧡❤️💜💚♥️💛💗🖤
soft hugs for you bumpy times xxxx big loves x

I so want a life that I don’t wanna take a vacation from. That sounds amazing.!!!!
oh good, glad you liked it!! xx
This is all I can face doing right now (creatively) is create moodboards and journal. Struggling with energy levels and not getting out enough because cold weather and lack of sunshine give me the SAD so I feel I have no ideas. So I am just doodling and doing cut and stick, collage!
We could be together but it takes one’s will ❤
I am in a change in my life at 64. THANK YOU
Thank you for the challenge to create a floating vision board. I love listening to you. Your soft voice, quotes and words are very empowering.
You are truly an Angel put upon this Earth. ❤
Mary in NC.
i like the idea of a ‘working’ vision board, malleable and fluid. thank you for sharing.
Oh, I love this. The best, creative way to create a Vision board. Thank you so much for sharing your process- I am inspired.
Love the way you express your thoughts and feelings. We all need more positive energy. Your heart is so big and beautiful. Thank you for sharing so much. Ana from Florida.
"spark my juices" 👍really love it Wendy!! 🥰
yes i hope others share about their vision boards 🍀☕
Like the Organic, fluid board that changes through the year. This is how mine is going to work, I have a 90 x 120cms Felt framed pinboard that i have been using, and am now going to clear it and start again. I have a lovely wall over my desk in my bedroom that is just right for this, looking forward to finding my chosen flow and the things that really speak to me.
Fabulous content !!
Awesome vision board and structure ❤
Lovely to see you ☮️💜🥰
I have binge watched your videos today whilst getting on with my art.
I've done some vision boards on Pinterest, which has been really good for me -- since I don't have a lot of skills in working with art supplies
This is such a great idea for every artist, and really every person! Sometimes our desires and goals can hide in the corners of our consciousness. Pulling them out and assembling them into a visual presentation seems like the perfect way to focus and define what we hope to achieve!
Blick please report this scammer Wendy is not the one who sent this under her icon

Thank you for all you do, Wendy! You’ve really helped me to shift in unexpected ways since I first found you some months ago. Cheers to you! 😊
this makes me so happy to hear xxx big loves to you xxx
Thank You for inspiring me to buy that Bohemian wardrobe I ve been wanting, and going on more nature walks ❤

Absolutely lovely and inspiring video. Your approach resonated so much more deeply than all the other approaches I have seen. I never vibes with vision boards, but this way of doing it is more joyful. Thank you Wendy for always inspiring and sharing your process❤️
wow, thanks! this is the Wendy way!! thanks so much for your kind words and for keeping me company on here xxxx
I am so happy that you are feeling better today. Blessings to you Dear lady.❤️🦋❤️🦋…

I love your Wendy Waffles! You are so inspiring to me. Thank You for being you!
Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get started on my board. I really like the element of being able to change it out on the wall.
I loved hearing your wonderful thoughts. Thank you!❤
Your channel is sew inspiring.
I made a vision board, but your reminder to SEE IT often is perfect guidance for me today. I am grateful for your gentle approach to life.
Brilliant idea, I feel inspired to start one. So glad I found your channel, or did your channel find me. I do believe in law of attraction. 💚
Exactly what’s been on my mind too 👍🏼✨
Miss Wendy... Thank you Miss Wendy love and blessings to you 💜💙💚💛🧡
perfect timing and enjoy Miss Jen! xxxx big loves back to you!! xxx

I love you Wendy!! You are such a beautiful person!! I'm so grateful for your videos❤
A very lovely and useful video this week. What a lovely idea. I’m away to be a noticeboard to do just the same
I would love to see you do more birds and trees. Any chance? I would love to watch your style while creating them.
How perfect to have come across this and you today. Thank you.
"A life I don't want to take a vacation from". I remember hearing (someone) say this a long, long time ago and it has stayed with me xxx
yes, me too, I've said it for years and it always resonates xxxx
I want to share with you Wendy, the quote you shared with us… ‘ shine when you can, cocoon when you need’, is now in my journal as a reminder to me and one that puts me a smile on my face and joy in my spirit an added light in my garden! I also share this with others and of the wonderful wise women who coined it!! Thanks Wendy!!! Blessings!!🌸❤️
Sending you grace Wendy 🙏🏻
So you have inspired me, (yet again) for it to become a "Movable Feast" Vision Board... to support one of my favorite movie lines: "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!" - Auntie Mame, 1958
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I am ever so grateful for this video, it’s comforting, inspiring and a lovely gentle reminder to keep a special space for who I am 💜
Thank you so much for all you do to nourish my soul and keep me going.
You're always so inspiring and Today I really needed to hear today's message!
I used to live my life similar to your Mantra and then slowly drifted away from my dream, caught up in daily chaos!
Today I am going to take back my "happy" space in life.
Namaste !
Great start to the year - thank you Wendy❤
I've created vision boards before, I've loved the process as well as the unfolding of the unexpected
I am delighted to have found your corner of youtube. I've been enjoying your previous videos and started art journalling to draw out themes. My first drawing was a cobblestone path with plants poking up through the cracks like you speak of in this video. Synchronicity 😍
Wonderful! Love the synchronicities!! xxxx big loves x
Exactly 😊 Yes!
