Very well done. A structured lesson. Clearly and easy to follow. Thanks I‘m off band these days so I can concentrate on similar things. Different basic rhythms put into a 2/3/4/5 bar phrases. And I‘m always write things down. I assume you are as influenced as we all by Buddy Rich. I am interested to know what stickings went into your playing ..? To me it‘s always refreshing to see/hear him play. (Not copying Buddy but put things into my own style.)
Again very nice Jameson. Are you using the Steve Gadd brushes? I got a pair a few months ago but find them a bit tricky to use, plus they are not so easy to open and close. Maybe I got a duff pair. The wire are a bit messy and sometimes they don't even open fully. Are yours ok?
Hi! These are just the regal tip classic ones. I LOVED the original regal tip standard model, but they don't make it anymore so I have these now. I'm hoping to find an old pair of those regal tips drifting around one of these days!

So cool that I found this lesson. thank you. I have been listening to Max and Clifford for years and now you have explained how to play it. Awesome.
So glad to hear that Fred! Can you believe that next year will be 100 years since Max Roach's birth?
@@Jameson-Scriver Yes I can. haha. Next year I will be 69. I just started playing 8 years ago. I suck but its so fun
