I noticed on the first EMU the driving cabs in the middle are boarded up. Were they like that as built or was it done later because 3 car EMUs don't run anymore?
EMU60-79 have "Dummy Power Cars", which are basically boarded up motor cars, that only contain guards controls. These built as is. Not entirely sure why they made these motor cars as a dummy, but they didn't continue with it, as EMU80-88 were complete sets, like EMU01-59. Also worthy to note, EMU60 and EMU67 (video recorded in the first scene) have the 2001 "Bandicoot" livery (the black band over the drivers windows). These are the only two sets were the Dummy power car has this livery, as the other's are fully yellow.

Thanks for that - I don't know that much about Brisbane trains!
That's alright. I'm still learning about them too.
There's only one thing slower than trains at this station: my driving.
Haha, my driving isn't fast either; I have a hard time getting up to 80 km/h.
I live at grovely
Nice. I live in North Lakes.
Cool
Can you show your face
I don't have that planned. :/ I prefer to remain faceless on TH-cam, until I'm comfortable with myself a little more.
