Good AAR! The Command Crisis rule uses the hidden dice method simply to be different - because every other ruleset - as you point out just has a table you roll against. So its an attempt to be a bit different and fun. More game than simulation here!😉 DCRB
Cheers Dave. Only a minor gripe and not a game changer. Thanks for making such an enjoyable set of rules. I hope ot have another AAR in a couple of weeks. We had an interesting game of Battlegroup today and was quite a contrast between this which was a much more static game (scenario and forces dictated that) vs the more free flowing nature of the O Group Friday which ia a large part was due to the combat patrol mechanic. I enjoyed both but very different games were played as a result of differnt focus on the designers.
