What are Flow Diagrams in UX

Today let's talk about one of the most basic, initial steps of a design process - the flow diagrams. They are a top-level representation of what the product or service does and how. This is my "simple language", no jargon explanation of the UX design process - let me know if you have any questions.
After you're done with the flow diagrams they can then be expanded into wireframes (more on them next week), high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
But it all starts with a basic flow.
