You mean the unused tracks? The unused trains are for the future-planned Tuas South Extension. The westbound AND eastbound tracks run on top of eachother. For westbound, it goes to the upper level and doors open on the left. For eastbound, it goes to the lower level and doors open on the right.

To be honest I got NO IDEA how the Expo announcement was being put on the train. The train only went from Tuas Link to Pasir Ris and I've and over, not to Changi, so why they install the lady says Expo to the train???

How did you get from Yishun to Jurong fast enough to catch the first westbound train?
I cabbed to Tuas Link, took the first eastbound train to Gul Circle, then took the first westbound train back to Tuas Link.
