Fun Fact: Batzorig is one of the Mongolians singing around the campsite in the last episode in the first season of Marco Polo.
He pops up about halfway through the episode as the Khans army prepares for war and the prince walks among the soldiers.
The song he’s singing by the campfire during that scene is called “The Beautiful Steppe”.
I loved the first season of Marco Polo so much. Shame the second was such a drop off

@@elbrayanconelkevin7834 Who was it?
is nobody going to talk about how powerful his singing sounds? all memes aside, this sounds unbelievably powerful, and his skills at playing the instrument are amazing
He's doing throat bass (the more powerful sound) and throat singing for the higher pitched part. It's not terribly hard to learn, but hella hard to master, especially throat bass. Also it helps when you have a good voice for it.
He's not playing that clearly...fingers don't match up..
I just find it amazing that this was once the land of the most powerful army in the world. It looks so barren and empty, yet the people there became one of the most formidable humans in history.
