Dinner under the sky at a friend's place in Atâr, Adrar Region, Mauritania.

We are having dinner at Mr Sheikh Moustafa's place in Atâr, Adrar Region, Mauritania. The house has a courtyard in the middle, with the sky as the roof. The host laid carpet and cushions in the courtyard. Dinner was served under the sky. Friends chatting and enjoying tea before dinner was served. The menu tonight is exceptional. It is camel meat cooked in Tagine with couscous. Gerak Darma's team is eating with our hands as it is the tradition here. Eating together on one big plate is also part of the tradition. We really enjoyed dinner. This was the first time we had eaten camel meat and couscous. It was delicious.
