Synopsis : Sujeong lost her younger sister in a hit-and-run accident 10 years ago. She tries to find the suspect but the limitations period has passed. The day after the limitation period expires, she visits the only witness, Taeseok, and expresses her anger and gets suspended for this. That day, Sujeong is attacked by someone and is helped by someone. When she opens her eyes, she’s in a remote house. Sehyeon, a hearing-impaired person, helped her. He doesn’t talk and behaves suspiciously around the house. There are medical instruments everywhere and CCTV showing the inside the house. She feels threatened by him and when she tries to get away from the house, she encounters critical evidence related to her sister’s death 10 years ago.

Stupid ending, a good guy died, while that idiot still lives, the guy who could not talk just knock her, he did nothing else, was a accident. He saved the sister but still died. Life's not fair
This Korean movie does have unique interesting story line to tell. It keep me on my seat guessing what and how the story will end. Good job KBS.

The Glass prison was made in 2012 and the actress Im Jeong-eun that you see in this drama also played the part in Ruby Ring which was made in 2013. She was Runa in that role. I think Ruby Ring gave her the recognition through the TH-cam from KBS world. To point out that in Korea they make the K drama different to the US TV shows. where we like to see more action and some story. In this one it was a one hour special that had a story and a plot but it did not give more in the story to understand. But in the US TV shows do the same less stories some action and some sex.
I like that actress in the series Ruby Ring, it was a good show to watch.
Before I read all the comments, I all ready agree with every body, she blame everybory drom her own mistake, she should be on time piking up her sister. And I felt so bad for the hit and run man. he couldn't answer to the phone when he hit the gril.

Some flashback shows that within 10 years the police have catched the mute driver. Why the detecteive lady (Kang) doesn't recognize him? The police must have informed her earlier. Weird.
i swear i see this before when i was in my high school and i think they play it again because Runa from Ruby drama has become famous as she was unknown and not famous in the past. dayum it remind me of my memories during watching this and i know whats goin to happen next. KBS, i like War and Marriage rather than drama special now hahaha~

I don't understand why no one likes this - I loved it, although I wanted a different end for Lee Sehyeong :'( Sure the female cop isn't the smartest (but if you overlook logic and just see her as a women then there is nothing wrong with the actions she took) I'm someone who can easily overlook a persons job and just see them as a human being who gets scared. I really really liked this drama special ^_^ and I wouldn't mind watching it again.

I was all scared and concerned and then at 40:50 the poor mute guy goes to get the food pot from boiling and I see a marijuana plant beaded curtain to his kitchen door. I laughed so hard that I wasn't afraid of the movie for a moment. Comic relief unintentionally? LOL!!!!

But again this is how a lot of the writers do, they rarely give a female a strong leading role especially if she's a cop or detective or anything in a leading position, they still make helpless and weak...like sick puppies always the rape victim or something worse.

This was the most poorly written drama special I have ever seen. She was the worst cop in history. Why do drama writers always write cops as complete idiots? How has she kept her job and her life with that behavior? The writer was so busy trying to make a spooky mystery that they forgot to make sense. What kind of cop has no sense of self preservation? Who just drives off with a complete stranger but ignores her neighbor? When she woke up and still had her phone why didn't she immediately call for back up and tell about her assault? If she was tailing him so much how did she miss him being a major criminal? Her running into the street, wtf?
Sorry but the cops don't have to be intelligent in each drama!!!

I don’t need them to be Sherlock Holmes, but they need to implement the basic training law enforcement receives. She was being attacked but didn’t yell or scream, bang on any passing doors, or tell the neighbor she saw to call 911. She got in the car with a complete stranger wearing an almost identical outfit to her attacker and didn’t try to escape him either. She woke up and didn’t immediately find a weapon and begin working out an escape plan. She was on the phone with her partner who was asking her why she thought it was his car, she knew her attacker had to have driven to her location, yet she went running out into the street and let an unknown driver know her exact location. Those are just the highlights of her mistakes. She wasn’t a civilian or a rookie. She was a detective with at least 10 years on the job and she written as a complete idiot.
Totally agree. I felt so frustrated watching this movie! it just does not make any sense about the whole thing. I love Runa but the movie turned out to leave a bad taste in my mouth. BTW, I don't think the mute guy deserved to die

She didn't get into the car, she was put in it. The car approaching had the flashing light so it could have been a detective car. They were just parked on the street so it wasn't like they were trying to hide her location.
01st Scientist When she was attacked at her apartment she jumped into the car of an unknown person wearing very similar clothes to her attacker.
Not a bad film but what beats me she’s a lady cop but at no point does sheep keep a weapon with her although she is in grave danger no one seems to want to help people in Japan if they need help ..

There's a lot of mistakes in this crime scene. There are no crime scene investigators, the crime scene is not cleared yet (means all the rooms searched). All pieces of evidence should be collected, photos of the room are taken. All evidence should be brought to the police crime lab for careful examination and check for fingerprints to identify the bad guy. There should always other police present and the investigative police present should be wearing gloves and shoes covered in order not to contaminate the evidence. 8/28/2020 OMG
Yes,I agree with you,this was a good story but there were too many mistakes and some illogical scene that I could capture,maybe if this story duration 2 hours+,they could add lots of crime and investigation scene with the help of other polices department,this was just my opinion,hope no offence,this was a good story too but it just couldn't be related in a real crime scene😌

This review is filled with SPOILERS! DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE!
Now I've seen the entire movie...I really hated the ending. This could have been a great movie but the writer of the screen play seemed to have a desire to punish the innocent disabled character. It would have been better if he had decided to capture the rapist/murder guy and kept him locked up all those years in his home. I would have written him as a vigilante capturing and locking up criminals in his homemade prison. Caring for them but never letting them leave as his punishment for doing the hit and run. He could possible even be trying to rehabilitate them into becoming better people. The police officer sister would still find the two guys who caused her sisters death but forgive the deaf guy because he was a victim as well.
The only crime that I really see the deaf guy committing his not coming forward and letting the rapist guy stay free allowing him to accumulate more women victims. I understand why he felt trapped into running away from the scene of the crime but would he have been imprisoned? I don't know how he would have been found guilty of a crime when the girl was hit accidently by him when trying to escape that evil guy. She ran out in front of his car running scared and looking for help. It was a horrible accident and he only became guilty because he left the scene of a car accident. It seemed to me that he was afraid of not being believed and understood because of his disability.
Also, I don't think deaf people are allowed to drive cars in the USA, but I'm not sure. Not being able to hear car horns, police sirens and other emergency sounds would make driving unsafe for everyone on the road and themselves. If he was driving illegally then his fear was genuine and he would have been arrested and possible jailed. His father would have died a lone and sooner without his son's daily care.
I felt really sad for the little girl and her sister; but I also felt really sad for the poor deaf guy living such a depressed life all those years due to his disability and guilt for his part in the young girl dying. The ending was just unfair to me. The rapist only serving a few years for his horrible crimes and the poor deaf guy paying with his life. He was a good person and didn't deserve t die.
Whatever happened to the old lady he cared for? He was very gentle with her. He was obviously a victim of circumstance(s).
The police officer sister being relieved and happy at the end was too much! She should have remained very angry at the rapist and the actually murder of her sister! She should have been sad for the poor deaf guy dying like that...trying to punish the real murderer and would be rapist of her little sister. The deaf guy actually was more of a humanitarian than the police and the sister. This movie needed some serious editing and rewriting in my opinion!!

I'm looking for a movie I saw years ago but I forgot name...its about I think its Korean women in prison and one lady is thrown in prison because she went after the 5-6 men who raped her and her mother?? it was an older lady who was raped with her in a field and she went seeking each man one by one to kill them all. she ended up in prison and the guards took pictures/videos of female inmates to bribe them with soo they can work as prositutes after they get paroled...I hope someone can help me locate movie title

Everyone's going on how this is the worst KBS special drama they've watched, but don't let them discourage you from watching. Watch it and see how it turns out for you. I also hate the detective. She's not ethical. I'm no expert but she seems like she's not the right fit for the job. I understand why she acted that way though especially when Sehyeon?( the mute guy, i guess) "saved" her. I mean, I will freak out when some random guy took me in a no-reception area rather than taking me to the hospital. Give her some slack. I think the ending implies that she's been suspended but happy that the serial killer will be behind bars for a few years. Who knows, the mute guy must have survived the shot, since it's just supposed to stop him.
So slow thinker for a detective..so sad. I don't like how they think when it comes to a life and death situation..stupid.
