There’s something quite indescribable when you hear this music. It’s like hearing something being told to you without words so you never can tell what the message is. At times you get so many emotion and visual images running through your mind hearing this that it almost feels like the meaning of the song is just within arms reach. You never will know what the message is, but the feeling that you’re connecting with someone who wrote something hundreds of years ago is something quite fantastic. I feel bad for those who have limited themselves to their generations music only. They have no idea what they’re missing out on.
You can also look at it from the view, that this music tells you all you already has known and felt before but no one was able to express it musically. Every move in the melody is not a surprise and feels selfevident but also so much satisfying that you are surprised its really turning in that direction...simply perfect music...especially this piece shows that Mozart was gifted especially.
Rip maestro Gulda, you'll be eternaly remembered for your undisputed musical ingenuity, charisma and wonderful soul...you always been my inspiration and the reason i get into the magical world of classical music!!!
@@omi412 Sadly my friend he isn't anymore with us physicaly but his beautiful soul will live forever in the heart and soul of any music lover all over this world🙏
His facial expressions as he plays convey so much joy in the music. Lovely. And I think it's just a hoot, watching him chew his tongue while he plays. Great stuff.
The first I heard this piece my heart became too big for my chest. I was 21 yrs old. I'm 68 now and still my heart swells and spills out in tears... I can't explain why.
Perfection. The simplicity and beauty of the melody and the orchestral accompaniment show Mozart's genius. He takes a simple melody and develops it into a virtuosic middle section, before returning to the original simplistic melody. I'll say it again: GENIUS! Maestro Gulda plays with the heartfelt passion this movement demands. BRAVO!!
He doesn't seem to be conducting for accuracy, or showing the orchestra the "beat", but rather asking the musicians, "Do you understand?" and "Do you feel Mozart's love?" A great man.
I agree that he is a great conducter. From the screen I share the nice moments of the music with same face changes. He really likes the music he conducts
Beautiful. I don't know much about Classic Music world, so I even don't know this person... but it is amazing he plays Piano so well and at the same time he conducting. I love Mozart's music even though I am not really get into a classic music. This is one of my favorite tunes of Mozart. Wonderful.
Spectaculaire !
I remember my time in Berlin as student went to Berliner Philharmoniker with my friends as our compensation to 'Rock concerts' and 'Discos'. One of our visit were F. Gulda as pianist and C. Abbado as conductor playing this Piano Concert Nr. 20 from Mozart. So nice and beautiful to experience them 'live'.
This stud is the biggest pianist I have ever seen. He definitely got physical advantage. Every thing seemed effortless for him. This one is a 5-star from me.

The word's no enough to describe the majestic musicality and the passion and the feeling, the love of maestro Gulda playing Mozart...what some smart ass said that Gulda was a little "raugh" in coducting i say the hell with them music isn't strictly about structure but more what you bring to it and grande maestro Gulda brings his very soul in the music!!! God bless maestro your beautiful soul!!!
So sad that the great works of the brilliant Wolfgang Mozart, his father, sister, and pupils, have all been encapsulated into a stupid movie so that the hordes of youtube commenters like you can attribute a quote and get 19 likes.
This is my favorite version of all! Brilliant performance! He is playing with soul and heart!
ESTO ES LA PERFECCIÓN 😮
The only kind of interpretation I could listen for hours an hours.
This must be what Heaven sounds like . Thank you Friedrich for a beautiful beautiful rendition of Mozart. A glass of wine with a loved one........
This is most hauntingly sad and beautiful tune in music. Its so perfect it should always have existed.
If there was a purpuse to the creation of the universe it must have been to make music like this possible.
GENIAL 😮!!!
LO MEJOR QUE HE OIDO NUNCA☆☆☆

I love this performance. Full of passion and wit, and organic with a few little imperfections which add more realism to it
The most unruly, unorthodox, extraordinary Mozart representative; our own Fredrick the Great.!!

This is music perfection interpreted the way Mozart would have done it. Can listen to it a million times.
I love watching musicians take such an obvious joy in their work.

Gulda is the BEST Mozart interpretator.
Mozart is love..
I love the way he plays, free of the affectation that plauges so many other pianists
The closest to the mozart movie soundtrack
This is what passion looks like! (and sounds like obviously)
La piel de gallina!!! bravoo!!
Hola bombón
Just amazing! Breath taking...
The pianist is Friedrich Gulda, and he's mentioned in both the title and the description. My favourite interpreter of Mozart's works.
Envoutant !!!!!!!
Du "Mozart"......
I fly, fly... Thank you very much.
Brilliant...

Doux souvenir d ' août 1974 .. Guy A'.
Excuse me? Guldas musical expression in only the first minute of this piece is undoubtedly the most understanding I ever heard before...
I love how Gulda shows Mozart's Most beloved music.
